Rome Guide - Travel Tips | Rome Vlog | Things To Do Rome | Itinerary To Rome
Hello everyone!
Planning to visit Rome? Then here is an itinerary made just for you that you could follow!
Day 1:
Checked in during mid-day at our holiday room:
Mood Suits
Address – Via Rasella,152,00187 Roma RM, Italy
Very importantly is to have/collect a street map of Rome makes a lot easier to travel from one point of interest to another.
Colosseum - We set ourselves exploring the pulsating energy of a place which lives life as a form of a theatre Colosseum and then to see
The overwhelming space inside the Pantheon
The glorious antiquity of Forum and Palatine Hill…the Baths of Caracalla
The most Popular the most spectacular fountain – Fountain of Trevi which we visited almost everyday????
Day 2:
Piazza Barberini - is a large piazza in the centro storico or city center of Rome, Italy and situated on the Quirinal Hill.
Trinita dei Mouti - One of Rome's highest churches is perched above the Spanish Steps and is, perhaps ironically, a French church.
The Glorious the Magnificent – Vatacian City Basillica S Pietro - One of the largest churches in the world, St Peter's Basilica, built in Italian Renaissance style is located in the Vatican.
Castel Sant Angelo - Known as Hadrian's Tomb, the Castel Sant'Angelo is a fortress located on the right bank of the Tiber, a short distance from the Vatican City.
Day 3:
Monumento a Vitorio Emanuel - is a monument built in honour of Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of a unified Italy, located in Rome, Italy.
Venchi’s for Ice Cream – freshly made ice-cream gelato every day, selecting natural, simple ingredients such as fresh milk, fruit, Piedmont Hazelnuts and, of course and the very exquisite chocolate!
Pinochhio shop in Rome – a great store for handmade wooden items
Pantheon - The Pantheon is a former Roman temple, now a church, in Rome, Italy, on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus.
Piazza Navona - Piazza Navona Rome is one of the largest and most beautiful piazza squares in Rome very popular with visitors.
The Shopping Paradise - Via de Condotti the streets surrounding Piazza di Spagna are home to some of Rome's best shopping. Via dei Condotti in particular has become a port of call for those in search of major Italian designers and international design boutiques.
Spanish Steps - With its irregular butterfly design, the beautiful “Scalina Spagna”, or Spanish Steps are just one of these must-see places when in Rome and a great example of Roman Baroque Style.
People’s Square - Piazza del Popolo is a large urban square in Rome.
It is not possible to see al the tourist attractions in Rome in just a few days and this is what we managed to do , to ensure we will return to Rome we tossed in a coin into the fountain of Trevi! Legend has it that those who do will return to Rome again ????

Walking Tour of Rome In 1 Day! (DO’s and DONT’s, Info, Ticket Links)
Travel to a perennial city could be utterly puzzling for the first-time visitors. This 10 minutes video will endeavour to unfold the main attractions of Rome in a one-day itinerary.
The Eternal City, Rome is a romantic blend of the ancient with the Renaissance, animated with the treasures and masterpieces of architecture and culture. The beauty of this enchanting city sprawls across its vibrant landscapes. Add in to its enigmatic historical flavour, you will find a beautiful destination that my travel diary will help you discover and enjoy in all its glory.
Since Rome is a huge tourist draw, you have to plan your travel dates carefully when the air fares drops quite a lot at the onset of the shoulder season in early Autumn. I planned my journey in the end of July as the days are still warm, nights remain pleasantly cool. If you have limited time and you try to cram the city in a day running from one place to other and snapping furiously, you need to navigate through an optimal scheme which my video will guide you make the most of.
The perfect place to begin your walking tour in Rome is the Colosseum, a timeless emblem of imperial Rome. With a history that dates back over 2000 years, ruins of this ancient monument witnessed a historic combat of the gladiators and wild animals surrounded by 80,000 applauding spectators. My next stop was Trevi fountain, standing over the small cobbled avenue. The fountain is an iconic example of over-the-top Baroque sculpture and is readily recognisable from its appearance in classic films 'Three Coins in a Fountain' and 'La Dolce Vita'. Only 8 min walk from the Trevi Fountain is the Pantheon, a temple dedicated to the Roman Gods; commissioned by the great Emperor Hadrian between 118 to 128 A.D. The austere exterior of the Pantheon deceives its alluring interior having the oculus at the highest central point of the dome, which is acclaimed as the best preserved architecture from antiquity and a forerunner of all modern places of worship. My next stop was the Vatican City, the smallest state in the world. You can buy online tickets in advance for Vatican museum to skip a long queue and experience the splendid view of Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Square and Basilica within 2 hours greeting yourself at every twist and turn of the vibrant Vatican city.
DON’T’s:
1. Don’t forget to prebook your tickets prior to visit the enchanting city of Rome to skip the long queue.
2. Don’t leave your valuable things unattended.
3. Don’t go to restaurants close to the attraction sights. They have hidden charges and food are overpriced and of low quality.
DO’s:
1. Make sure you are wearing a comfortable foot pair while walking on the cobblestone streets of Rome.
2. Be aware of pickpockets in public transports (specially metro) and near the tourist attractions.
3. Please wear clothes that covers your knee and shoulder when you visit Vatican city.
4. Try to book your hotel closest to these attractions to live the entire city in a day.
However, if you are running out of time and miss any of these lasting reminders of the great majesty, just toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain before you leave and as the fiction has it, you will be blessed with another visit to Rome.

Captivating!!! Our guide, Sara was kind and welcoming the moment we arrived!
I highly recommend this company! Sara was quite informative and had vast knowledge of the colosseum, palatine hill, and roman forum! Despite the blistering heat, we powered through the tour because of Sara!!!She made my first time in Rome a memorable one :) Absolutely incredible!

My husband and I did the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill tour this afternoon and our guide Egle was brilliant! She was so interesting to listen to and described everything with such enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and if you need an English speaking guide try to get Egle. Thank you for a great afternoon.

Matej the King - A true gladiator of the tour guiding occupation. Matej was an excellent guide, who was able to guide us through the annals of Rome with a good amount of knowledge and laughs. He was an avid shade-acquirer which was beneficial to those who require shade to enjoy their tours. I personally would never throw shade on Matej, as he was a shining light on our day. 10/10.

Danielle was our perfect guide today for the Palatine hill, the Forum Romano and the colloseum tour. We have learned a lot and the 3 hours tour wasn't for 1 seconde boring. Again many thanks to our guide Danielle
Muy buenos guías ayer con Nataline en Vaticano y hoy con Manuel en el Coliseo. Gracias

20 Things to do in Rome, Italy Travel Guide Video Transcript: (ROMA)
Rome, the Eternal City. After several trips to Italy, we finally managed to visit our biggest oversight: the capital! From wandering through Roman ruins to devouring pizza, and climbing up lookout points to feasting on gelato, in this travel guide, we’re going to share with you 20 things to do in Rome, Italy:
We reached Roscioli which was the best pizza in Rome. Pizzas are served by the weight and we sampled 7 different pizza slices.
We stopped at Largo di Torre Argentina an archaeological site home to four different temples containing parts of the portico of Pompey.
It was a short walk to the Pantheon, a former Roman temple turned church, which dates back to the year 125 AD. The Pantheon boasted the world’s largest cupola up until the 15th century, and it is still the largest unreinforced concrete dome in existence to this day making it one of the greatest architectural achievements by the ancient Romans.
If you want to find the best gelato, look for colours that are muted with small batches.
One of the many things to do in Rome, was to visit the Trevi Fountain. This is the largest Baroque fountain in the city.
Rome’s most famed attraction is the Colosseum and its surrounding ruins. We started our visit on Palatine Hill, the most central of Rome's seven hills. What visitors see today are the ruins of the Palace of Domitian, a 1st-century complex, which served as the main imperial palace for 300 years. We continued to the Roman Forum. This square was the centre of ancient Roman life, with government buildings, temples, and markets. We reached the Colosseum, which was the largest amphitheatre ever built and could hold an estimated 50,000 and 80,000 spectators.
Walking through the Vatican Museum was more overwhelming than enjoyable. We visited Vatican City to climb St. Peter’s Basilica for views of Rome.
Castel Sant’Angelo was commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family.
Villa Borghese is the 3rd largest public park in Rome with gardens, villas, and ponds with views of the city overlooking Piazza del PO-polo, the people’s square.
That concludes our tour of Rome showcasing the many things to do in Rome on your own trip.
This is part of our Travel in Italy video series showcasing Italian food, Italian culture and Italian cuisine.

ROME IN A DAY! What we love to do in Rome, ITALY ????????
We flew in to Rome, Italy last night and arrived at our Airbnb around midnight. Today we have 12 hours to explore this fantastic city and we’re so excited! We’ve been to Rome before and have seen all the major spots to see already, so we decided that today we would head out with no real plan and see what we discover!
We started by dropping our bags off near Termini Station - we found the luggage storage at the station really expensive, but we found a much cheaper alternative called Bagbnb. We had no issues with the service at all and recommend using them over the facilities inside the railway station.
Our first stop just so happened to be the Ancient Roman Forum, even though we’ve seen it before we still made a quick stop (this happened a few times during the day lol).
A good Italian coffee was on the agenda and we managed to find a great (and cheap) spot right near the Trevi Fountain.
If you’re after a travel vlog showing you what its like to wander around Rome then you’ve come to the right place. We managed to fit a lot in the 12 hours we had, so we’ve broken this vlog into 2 parts.
Part Two:
Enjoy ????
