Pham Ngu Lao nightlife is also one of Ho Chi Minh’s finest, with throngs of street vendors, bia hoi stalls, lively bars, and downtown clubs filling up the lively scene. Interesting nightlife entertainment spots include The View Rooftop Bar, Seventeen Saloon, Go 2 and Crazy Buffalo Nightclub as well as many smaller pubs that are known for their cheap drinks and happy hour promos. It’s also common around here to meet friendly expats who are more than happy to share a few tips about travelling in and beyond Vietnam. If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture, we highly suggest getting up early and visit the parks within the area. It is interesting to see (and even to join in on) the elders participating in Tai Chi-like exercise sessions. Another must-do is heading to the morning markets such as Ben Tanh Market, where local vendors sell a wide array of fresh produce, household supplies, and Vietnamese street food at attractive prices. As Pham Ngu Lao is not such a large area, it’s the perfect place to explore on foot - the best time to do this is in the morning and late afternoon as the weather can be rather scorching at the height of the day. If you’re feeling adventurous, there are also travel agencies that can help arrange for day trips within the city centre and beyond.

EXPLORING HO CHI MINH CITY I BACKPACKING VIETNAM I SAIGON
Exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Backpacking Vietnam. Saigon
Formally known as Saigon (even still to the locals) Ho Chi Minh City is located in the south of Vietnam. This city is amazing, it has diverse culture, an Asian city with a heavy western influence. The traffic is crazy, 70% of the city’s traffic is either motorbikes or scooters. Crossing the road is certainly a challenge when you first get there. There are many things to do in the city, you can go to the Mekong Delta river, the Chi tunnels and shopping at the local markets.
I really enjoyed exploring this place, I plan on returning very soon. It’s such a great place to hang out and you can never get bored. We were there over the new year period and I have never experienced anything like it, a great place to party.

Vietnam Interviews
■ VIET FAMILY INVITE ME TO THEIR HOME:
■ SAIGON, VIETNAM: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's most populous city, rivals that of other Asian countries for sheer size and have also started to catch up in terms of tourism arrivals. 11 million foreigners visited the country during the first 11 months of 2017.
Wandering around downtown Ho Chi Minh though, and especially whilst hanging out in the city's Walking Street, or the traditional backpackers area if you will. I can't help but wonder where they all are?
In similar Walking Streets be it in Thailand or the Philipines you're bound to run into more foreigners than locals. That is far from the case though in Saigon. And in all honesty, that doesn't bother me one bit.
It's infinitely better to be one of a few as opposed to one of too many. I therefore thoroughly enjoyed this night out in Saigon, chatting with locals and wandering around taking in the sights and sounds.

VLOG #29 | ONE OF HO CHI MINH CITY ATTRACTIONS - HCMC PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE BUILDING
The People’s Committee Building Saigon in central Ho Chi Minh City features well-preserved French colonial architecture in a spacious garden landscape. Originally constructed as a hotel in 1898 by French architect Gardes, it now serves as a city hall and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Occupying the end of Nguyen Hue walking promenade, it has three buildings with embossed statues of animals and people, intricate bas-reliefs on the walls, as well as a statue of Ho Chi Minh in front of the main building. The best time to visit is in the evening, as these features are beautifully illuminated with LED lights.
Located in District 1, the People’s Committee Building Saigon is accessible within a five-minute walk from prominent colonial structures such as the Saigon Opera House, Rex Hotel, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Union Square Shopping Mall. An ideal sightseeing excursion would be strolling the Nguyen Hue to visit the Saigon Opera House and Notre Dame Cathedral, followed by some retail therapy at the shopping centre. In the evening, make your way to the People’s Committee Building Saigon for breathtaking sunset shots, before ending the day with drinks at Rex Hotel Rooftop Bar.

Best vegan food tour in ho chi minh
A great combination: vegan food during an all-female scooter tour in Saigon. I love to travel, food, friends, and motorbikes. so this video is a great combi of many things I love.
If you travel it is not always that easy to eat healthily or eat vegan. Even in Countries like Vietnam.
That is when I met the founder of Saigon Kiss tours, Natalie. And she created a Vegan food tour. Not just for me, but also for all the other people who would like an introduction in the Vietnamese kitchen, but then the Vegan version.
As a disclaimer: I am a vegetarian and I try to eat as little milk, cheese, and eggs as possible. But sometimes it happens and I am not going to stress about it. But I prefer to eat Vegan.
Really hope you enjoy this video, if you do, please leave a comment, like or subscribe.
If you would like to book a tour with Saigon Kiss tour:

I had the chance to visit Vietnam with my hubby! I wanted to document my memories so that I can always remember how blessed I am to have this opportunity and also share it with those who have never been to Ho Chi Minh City.
I am by no means anything close to a professional so please excuse the shaky hand and enjoy~
