Sapa Market Vietnam Experience Local Markets
STAY FOR FREE IN Vietnam:
A while ago, I visited Vietnam and Sapa. This is another video in which I am showing you the local markets. Sorry for it being so shaky, it was just when I was learning how to use a camera. :) More local markets videos to come, stay tuned! I think it's important to show local crafts and try and support them.

If you have plan to go to visit Vietnam, please do not forget go to visit SAPA, Especially Fansiphan Mountain !
Sa Pa is a frontier township and capital of Sa Pa District in Lào Cai Province in northwest Vietnam. It was first inhabited by people we know nothing about. They left in the entire valley hundreds of petroglyphs, mostly composed of lines, which experts think date from the 15th century and represent local cadastres. Then came the highland minorities of the Hmong and Yao. The township is one of the main market ones in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao (Yao), Giáy, Pho Lu, and Tay live. groups, as well as by smaller numbers of Tày and Giay. These are the four main minority groups still present in Sa Pa district today. The Kinh (lowland Vietnamese) never originally colonised this highest of Việt Nam’s valleys, which lies in the shadow of Phan-Xi-Pǎng (Fansipan, 3143 m), the highest peak in the country.

VIETNAM TRAVEL VLOG | SAPA MARKET + HOMESTAY
the third leg of the vietnam travel vlogs and we have arrived in sapa! after an overnight bus trip we wander around the town and the local market (look away if your squeamish), before setting off on a two day homestay and trek through the villages and hills of sapa. we try to stay out of the mud on the trails, take in some amazing views and arrive at the homestay in time to make friends with the locals and fellow travelers. after a massive meal (with all the rice wine we can drink of course) and a good sleep in our loft bed, we set off on day two, taking in the scenery, locals and a waterfall on the way, before saying farewell to sapa!

New Market of Sapa, Vietnam
The new modern market and a building with large space with electricity and lights and toilets have been opened just out side of the central area of Sapa centre.
The land owners of the hill country have been made to still sell their farm proceed outside of the market stall.
Why because the market is for the majority population of the country who have migrated to earn large sums of money from the tourist trade that is growing each year.
Even if the hill tribes are to use the market facilities they will have to pay a rent where can they find money to pay a rent when their only source of income is from the farm and natures produce.
They do not manufacture large quantities as rest of the world does by destroying the nature and life.
These people are resource base tribes and they only come in to the market once a day and exchange their surplus.
Remainder of the days they work in the fields.
it is very sad to see the impact we the outsiders are causing the minority tribes of the world.

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

SAPA MOUNTAINOUS TOWN | SAPA MARKET | NORTHWEST VIETNAM
Sapa is a small, mountain town in Lao Cai Province. It is located about 350 km northwest of Hanoi, close to the Chinese border. Here's where you'll find the Hoang Lien Son range of mountains, which includes Fan Si Pan—the country's highest peak. This quiet Vietnamese town is home to different ethnic tribal groups. There are five main ethnic groups in Sapa: the Hmong, Dao, Tay, Giay and Xa Pho. It is said that Sapa was first occupied by the first four groups, since the Vietnamese from the lowlands (better known as the Kinh) did not colonise the highest valleys. These days, Sapa welcomes a diverse range of visitors, attracted by the highland tribes, iconic rice paddies and forest treks. The whole area is blessed with awe-inspiring natural beauty.
