Title says it all. I don't get a shot of her, but trying to surprise someone with donations is just about proof, not about taking away privacy, so, it works out.
Church restoring murals damaged during Halifax Explosion
The walls of St. Mary's Basilica were covered in thick white paint in the 1950s, and no one was sure why. A restoration for the church's 200th anniversary revealed the answer: damage from stained glass windows shattered in the 1917 Halifax Explosion.

TO DREAM OF SILENCE is a stunning meditation on the human psyche, and the challenges our souls face in times of change. To Dream of Silence is dark, heart-filled, and full of truth.
The album chronicles a series of significant dreams experienced by musician and producer Jeff Reilly between 2008 and 2012. Some of the dreams were harrowing and intense, others astoundingly beautiful; all were deeply transformative for the composer.
Jeff Reilly has over thirty years of experience as a musician, producer, composer and as an internationally respected bass clarinet soloist. It seemed the right time to gather up all that experience and bring these dreams to life through music and narration.
To Dream of Silence occupies a unique sound world. Jeff Reilly’s bass clarinet combines with the pipe organ of long-time collaborator Peter-Anthony Togni, the extended percussion of Jerry Granelli, two full string orchestras, a string quartet and the sound sculptures created in the tiny village of East Dover, Nova Scotia by the blacksmith, John Little. Rinde Eckert adds a great deal with his sparse and powerful narrations.
Added to this collection is a new work by Canadian composer Christos Hatzis entitled Extreme Unction. It is a powerful depiction of both the struggles against, and the final acceptance of, the inevitability of death. Extreme Unction is a very fitting way to complete a series of pieces about psychological and spiritual transitions. Death, as this brilliant work by Christos shows us, is the ultimate transition.
Ultimately To Dream of Silence is the story of Jeff Reilly’s realization that the real engine of transformation is the heart: the heart of the machinery of a vast basement, the pounding heart recovering from terror, a bursting heart upon witnessing indescribable beauty, the rich heart of our home and finally, a heart beating out the final moments of life.
