Marie Pureté- O pure Mary يا مريم البكر Bekhit Fahim
Coptic hymn in French
------------------------------------------------------
Ô Vierge ta lumière apaisante
Eclipse les étoiles
Le soleil, la lune pâlissante
Quand tu parais se voilent
Ta clarté limpide pure aux cieux
Notre Eglise irradie
Ô Marie éclaire aussi mes yeux
Et purifie l'ouïe
Mon espoir, Mère de Dieu, ma mère
Ne m'abandonne pas
J'ai péché, mes larmes sont amères
Tu me les sècheras
Aux heures de l'angoisse sombre
Mon cœur te trouvera
Ô Marie écarte les ombres
La joie m'envahira

Saint Joan of Arc, NEW Catholic film trailer, movie
Saint Joan of Arc was called by God to go ‘forward boldly’ against the English oppressors of France. She held a banner bearing the names of Jesus and Mary and led the charge in a key battle that would be the decisive turning point in the 100 years’ war. But Joan’s battle was not only to win military victories. The war was for souls. She had to face corrupt clergy in high positions within the Catholic Church that would see her betrayed, denounced a heretic and Martyred.
A Saint for our times, Joan loved our lady and the Latin Mass, was a soldier of God and a fearless defender of the Faith. St Therese of Lisieux felt very close to Saint Joan, living in the heart of the Church and participating in Christ’s suffering for the world’s salvation, and Pope Benedict XVI called Joan’s spirituality ‘profoundly Christocentric and Marian’.
In this new film biography of Saint Joan of Arc, grow closer to this great Saint of our times in a presentation by Mary’s Dowry Productions, the UK’s Catholic film apostolate.

BENOIT: Elévation 6, played on Debain harmonium
Dom Paul Benoit (1893-1979) was an organist, composer, and Roman Catholic priest, who lived as a member of the Benedictine community at the Abbey of St. Maurice and St. Maur, at Clervaux in Luxembourg. His compositions for organ are beautiful and impressionistic. This piece, in C major, is the sixth piece from his “Forty-One Elevations pour Harmonium,” published in New Jersey (of all places) in 1956. Many thanks to our Benedictine friend Br. Christian for the gift of this rare score. Performed by Michael Hendron on a Debain harmonium, built in Paris c. 1870; it is in use in the church of Notre Dame d’Espérance, on top of the hill in Le Suquet, the oldest portion of Cannes, France. Merci beaucoup to the staff and volunteers, who allowed us to inspect and record the instrument as they were closing the church after Mass on 16 October 2016.
Religious Leaders Mark Boston Bombing with Interfaith Service
Faith leaders gathered at an interfaith service in Boston on Thursday to commemorate those who died and were injured in the bombing at the Boston Marathon. Scripture tells us to 'run with endurance the race that is set before us,' President Obama said at the service. As we do, may God hold close those who've been taken from us too soon. The President spoke with Catholic, Protestant, Greek Orthodox, Jewish and Muslim clergy at Cathedral of the Holy Cross. [The service] spoke to the values that all faiths share, the values of kindness, compassion, helping one another, the importance of community, said the Rev. Peter Morales, president of the Unitarian Universalist Association, who attended the service. Previously, Peter Stetzel spoke on working for a nonviolent world after the tragedy.

SUMMARY
=======
Louis XVIII (Louis Stanislas Xavier; 17 November 1755 – 16 September 1824), known as the Desired (le Désiré), was a monarch of the House of Bourbon who ruled as King of France from 1814 to 1824, except for a period in 1815 known as the Hundred Days. He spent twenty-three years in exile, from 1791 to 1814, during the French Revolution and the First French Empire, and again in 1815, during the period of the Hundred Days, upon the return of Napoleon I from Elba.
Until his accession to the throne of France, he held the title of Count of Provence as brother of King Louis XVI. On 21 September 1792, the National Convention abolished the monarchy and deposed Louis XVI, who was later executed by guillotine. When his young nephew Louis XVII died in prison in June 1795, Louis XVIII succeeded as titular king.Following the French Revolution and during the Napoleonic era, Louis XVIII lived in exile in Prussia, England, and Russia. When the Sixth Coalition finally defeated Napoleon in 1814, Louis XVIII was placed in what he, and the French royalists, considered his rightful position. However, Napoleon escaped from his exile in Elba and restored his French Empire. Louis XVIII fled, and a Seventh Coalition declared war on the French Empire, defeated Napoleon again, and again restored Louis XVIII to the French throne.
Louis XVIII ruled as king for slightly less than a decade. The government of the Bourbon Restoration was a constitutional monarchy, unlike the Ancien Régime, which was absolutist. As a constitutional monarch, Louis XVIII's royal prerogative was reduced substantially by the Charter of 1814, France's new constitution. Louis had no children, so upon his death the crown passed to his brother, Charles X. Louis XVIII was the last French monarch to die while still reigning, as Charles X (1824–1830) abdicated and both Louis Philippe I (1830–1848) and Napoléon III (1852–1870) were deposed.
The Legend of Joan of Arc - Making Of
Short Making Off for the marionette film ''The Legend of Joan of Arc'' by Classics in Miniature.
The film tells the heroic tale of Joan of Arc, a peasant young woman in 14th century France who, through visions of Saint Michael, became the first female captain of the French Army for King Charles VII at age seventeen, and was burned at the stake two years later by the inquisition of the Catholic Church in Rouen, France, only later to become a Saint.

Christening Cote d'Azur / Bapteme video reportage
This year with our LoveInNice team we had a pleasure to film little Arthur's christening. The ceremony was performed according to the tradition of The Armenian Apostolic Church where the sacraments of Baptism, Chrismation (Confirmation), and Holy Communion are administered at one time. This is the child's initiation into the Christian community.
After the ceremony the celebrations started! And they were full of warmth, kids laughing, people sharing warm smiles and tasting amazingly delicious armenian food during a cocktail party.
We would like to thank Arthur's parents and all his family for their warm welcoming! You made us feel like we were really a part of this important event! Thank you so much and we hope that this video will serve you as a great memory of this day!
With Love,
LoveInNice Team
