Bald Eagle Float Tour with Sunwolf in Squamish British Columbia Canada
Viewing bald eagles on a float tour with Sunwolf near Squamish, just a short drive from Vancouver and Whistler, BC.
Soon, the silence is broken by the swoosh of a bald eagles' wings as it settles to rest in the trees along the bank. The enormous eagle's beak rips apart a half-eaten salmon that's clutched in the raptor's razor-sharp talons.
It's the spawning salmon that bring thousands of bald eagles here. They return every winter to this spot just outside of the small community of Brackendale, British Columbia to gorge on salmon from the glacial-fed Squamish and Cheakamus rivers.
Today, Brackendale is rapidly becoming known as one of the best places in the world to spot bald eagles. It's just outside the town of Squamish, British Columbia however still within the Squamish district, and close to the stunning Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler.

Eagle Viewing Raft Tour
Squamish is home to North America's largest bald eagle population. Reporter Nicole Fitzgerald joins a Sunwolf Eagle View Float tour for a front row seat to viewing more than 60 eagles in a single one-hour adventure. No trees to get in the way, peacefully floating down the river without disturbing the Eagles, guests learn about nature's delicate balance; the connection between the glaciers that feed the river, the salmon that come to spawn and the eagles that stay to feed. Misty morning landscapes, majestic birds roosting and in flight, lunch served fireside at the Sunwolf lodge.

VLOG #2 - Bald Eagle in a Tree 40 Yards Away - January 18, 2016
I picked up my cousin Ryan Bull after work to zip over to Fort Cobb Lake real fast to see if we could spot any bald eagles semi-close for Ryan to check out. Took a few cameras to document/vlog the trip and was very satisfied and not only did Ryan get to see a big mature bald eagle up relatively close (40 yards), I handed him the camera and let him film it! Recorded on Monday January 18, 2016. Please be sure to watch in HD. Please be sure to like (thumbs up) this video, share this video and subscribe to my channel. Thanks!
