The flight returns via the Kerikeri Inlet, Kerikeri Township and Waitangi.

Kingfish Lodge Tour

A scenic helicopter flight of the outer Bay of Islands, the coastal regions as experienced on the Coastal Discovery flight above as far North as the sleepy fishing village of Mangonui. We explore the majestic Whangaroa Harbour by air before setting down at the secluded and unique Kingfish Lodge where you will enjoy lunch at their stunning restaurant overlooking the harbour entrance.

Beach Escape

For a magical time away from the crowds take the Beach Escape. We fly you over the beautiful Bay of Islands for a spectacularly scenic flight before landing you on a remote beach. We leave you here with a gourmet picnic lunch for a few hours to enjoy swimming, snorkelling, or just lazing on the beach. Take a walk if preferred to explore your remote and isolated spot. Snorkelling equipment is provided. At a prearranged time we will collect you from the beach and return you Paihia. Includes gourmet picnic lunch with a bottle of local award-winning wine. Beach stopover duration 3-4 hours.

Waipoua Forest Tour

Fly by helicopter across the mid north rural area to the stunning Hokianga Harbour. Your Footprints guide will meet you on landing at the Copthorne Resort Omapere will then take you on a guided walk to the largest Kauri Forest in the world to view Tane Mahuta, God of the Forest. Footprints share with you their special relationship with Mother Nature, both spiritually and culturally. Enjoy their knowledge, stories song and music. On returning to Copthorne Omapere you will be served lunch overlooking the entrance to Hokianga Harbour before rejoining your helicopter for a scenic flight of the harbour and return to the Bay of Islands.

Bay of Islands & Cape Reinga

Amazing scenery awaits you on the way to Whangarei. Great snorkelling and diving sports are all close by. In Kawakawa there is time to see the 'Hundertwasser toilets'. Not far from here we reach the Bay of Islands, New Zealands subtropical paradise. Lots of islands and peninsulas are waiting to be explored and then there are also the Waitangi Treaty grounds - the founding place of New Zealand.
From Kaitaia, the northern most city in the Far North we go on a journey to Cape Reinga - the 90 Mile Beach is truly stunning and in Ahipara at the southern end you may also want to try surfing.
On the way south we see the giants of the forest, huge Kauri trees sometimes 2000 years old.
