A walk around the Taman Tun Wet Market, Kuala Lumpur
The Taman Tun Wet Market was opened around 1986. It was touted as the cleanest wet market in Kuala Lumpur. This walk around almost every area of the market shows the actual conditions of the market today.

This walk was on a Saturday between 9 to 10 am. I was told that Sunday would be a busier day. If you want to see more details, slow down the video using the youtube settings.
This video is captured with my camera mounted on a kick-scooter. The camera is about 104cm above the floor. To see the stalls with meat and fish, it could do with a few centimeters higher.

A Delightfully Different Ramadhan Bazaar @ Taman Tun KL
The Best Ramadhan Bazaar In Town : KL's Taman Tun
This video takes a trip to the often described best Ramadhan bazaar in KL. It's none other than the famous Ramadhan bazaar in Taman Tun KL. Just bordering the boundary with Petaling Jaya this bazaar lines two parallel roads surrounded by shop lots. Hence, there are plenty of parking spaces all around the vicinity and a convenient walk takes you to a different atmosphere compared to other Ramadhan bazaars around. Firstly, the stalls are well arrange, all neat and orderly under yellow canopies and not congested or haphazard. The mood is more relaxed, less shuffling by traders and the variety shows after a short stroll. Bamboo stick charcoal roasted chicken, Johor bariani rice, special pancakes ,grilled lamb, lots of fried poppiah, savouries and of course fresh juices. The signages are all over the bazaar and clearly tell you what they have. Get to this bazaar during the puasa month and join the unhurried crowd for a good bite or smell the air of good food ! Even if you are not hungry there are plenty for you feast your appetite. You will wish that such bazaars are here all year round. See the difference, feel the difference and come back again.

KL Petaling Street Chinatown 'Rusty' Flea Market (Pasar Karat)
It starts as early as 5 am and ends at 10 am. Every day ! This the daylight flea market at the fringe of Petaling Street in the Chinatown heart of Kuala Lumpur. It's officially called Pasar Karat in Bahasa Malaysia, literally meaning rusty market. This is clearly how best to describe the decade old street market that has created some controversy recently. The City Hall is keen on turning this place into a tourist attraction and have been started giving trading licenses to the operators. They want to call this the Antiques Street. But is it really an antique market ? This video takes a close up view, and bird's eye view from a nearby building's balcony, to let you judge for yourself. It would look like it's more of a junk yard or thieves market or antique market ? You can find some collectibles, some previously owned shoes and clothes, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, luggage, old coins, and even rusty old workman tools ! It's a feast of things at bargain prices. Best of all, at the middle part of the street there's a stall serving hot and cold drinks for you to take a break. Whatever this place may be, tourists and locals must come and feel the atmosphere just before sun rise, especially on weekends when more stalls are present.

Taman Connaught Night Market - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Taman Connaught Night Market, locally known as Cheras Pasar Malam, takes place in the Cheras neighbourhood every Wednesday evening, when you can find over 700 stalls set along a two-kilometre road. The longest street market in Kuala Lumpur, exploring the entire marketplace can take up to two hours as there are plenty of inexpensive clothing, accessories, books, bags, handicrafts and household items to browse through.
Taman Connaught Night Market is very popular among the local community for its vast array of Malaysian hawker fare, such as curry noodles, char kuey teow, laksa and satay, as well as desserts, ice cream and snacks. There are also numerous food stalls offering Korean, Thai, Taiwanese and Japanese snacks at attractive prices. Try the chilli-drenched stinky tofu – similar to durian, this deep-fried fermented street snack is definitely an acquired taste. Located along Jalan Cerdas, the Taman Connaught Night Market is accessible from Kuala Lumpur via MRT rail – alight at the station of the same name and the market is less than 2 km away. Parking can be a challenge, so taking public transport is highly recommended. Held from 17:30 until midnight, the market can get pretty hot and humid here as the stalls are set up very close to each other and attract large crowds during peak hours (between 19:00 and 21:00). Wear light clothes, keep yourself hydrated and be aware of your belongings as pickpocketing is a risk in crowded areas.
Taman Connaught Night Market Opening Hours: Wednesday 17:30 – 00:00 Location: Jalan Cerdas, Taman Connaught, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

A walk around the TTDI Pasar Malam
The Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI) Pasar Malam or open-air market is open on Sunday at 4 pm until nightfall. The market is located at Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 1, 2 and 3. You can view the area in Google Map with this link:
Previously, the market was located at Jalan Wan Kadir and Jalan Wan Kadir 5 but with the completion of the condominiums in that area, it was relocated to the current area around 2014.
The aim of this video is to provide a comprehensive walk around the market to show the offerings and the faces both the customers and vendors. It is a very colorful market with colors from the products, the decorations and the dresses of the people.
This video is captured using an EKEN H6s at 1080p 60fps. The shoot started at around 5:45 pm.
Kuala Lumpur | Petaling Street Penjaja Gallery Jalan Tun H S Lee Wet Market
It's a bit embarrassing to admit but when I first moved to Malaysia, I thought that a wet market was a floating market like you'd find in various countries around Southeast Asia and I tried to convince my friend Ramesh to visit one with me for a vlog. He agreed but with a strange look in his eyes until he realised what I thought they were and then he was rolling with laughter ... and it was pretty funny. A wet market is simply a mercado or local market where individual vendors and farmers sell their produce, meats, flowers, and other goods. The one that I recently explored is the oldest wet market in all of Kuala Lumpur, located in the central beating heart of Petaling Street. Come with me for a quick tour of Penjaja Gallery Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, commonly known as Madras Lane. You can buy live chickens there, pig heads (and every other part you'd want), oodles of fresh fish, and wildly exotic (to me) vegetables, and fruit.
Given that pork is sold you can imagine that it is a very Chinese market so I'm sure there are amazing herbs and produce you can buy there that would be hard to find elsewhere.

The Best Markets In Kuala Lumpur!
WHATS UP?? IN today's adventure i'm going to be taking you guys to the best street markets in all of Kuala Lumpur! We also go to a very famous temple called Batu Caveas as well!
The first market on our journey is Petaling Street, located in the heart of China Town! This is a great market for a lot of authentic goods that one might want to bring home. PSYCH IT'S ALL FAKE. But they do have Yeezys, YSL, Gucci, Louie, and just about every other fancy western brand you can think of thats all fake stright from china.
After the market we head off to the Batu Caves! It is an old Hindu Temple situtated inside of these huge limestone cliffs! The Caves are just outside of Kuala Lumpur and are a short Train or taxi ride away. After we explore the caves, and run into one of Alec's old college friends, we head off to the best food market in all of Kuala Lumpur!
This market is called the Jalan Alor market, and has every type of food you can think of! It was quite a great market, with everything from barbequed seafood, Thai, Indian all the way to western food. It's a MUST try if your staying in Kuala Lumpur! We end our night there as we have a few drinks with some friends ourside of a liquer store.
