Tokyo Skytree 東京スカイツリ - Tallest TV Tower Worldwide - Japan
A New Video - Tokyo Skytree - Tallest TV Tower Worldwide - Japan
Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー Tōkyō Sukaitsurī?) is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010[2] and reached its full height of 634.0 metres (2,080 ft) in March 2011, making it the tallest tower in the world, displacing the Canton Tower,[3][4] and the second tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa (829.8 m/2,722 ft).[5]
The tower is the primary television and radio broadcast site for the Kantō region; the older Tokyo Tower no longer gives complete digital terrestrial television broadcasting coverage because it is surrounded by high-rise buildings. Skytree was completed on 29 February 2012, with the tower opening to the public on 22 May 2012.[6] The tower is the centrepiece of a large commercial development funded by Tobu Railway and a group of six terrestrial broadcasters headed by NHK. Trains stop at the adjacent Tokyo Skytree Station and nearby Oshiage Station. The complex is 7 km (4.3 mi) north-east of Tokyo Station.

Narita Airport to Tokyo - Complete Japan Travel Guide
Here are tips to get to and from Narita Airport. I've lived in Japan for almost 15 years now and this advice is based on all my experiences. Hope this video helps.
Check out more info at
//Timelines//
0:12-Intro
0:13-1:07 Overview of transportation options to Narita Airport
The options are...
-Express Train - Narita Express and Keisei Skyliner
-Local Bus
-Bus - LCC and limousine
-Taxi
Basically LCC buses are the cheapest way to go, and express trains and limousine are about the same price.
1:08-1:28 Overview of express train
-Narita Express is great for people staying in south west area including Shinjuku, Shibuya and Tokyo.
-Keisei Skyliner is great for people staying in north east area including Ueno and Nippori.
1:29-2:52 How to ride the express train
-From the Airport:
When you arrive at Narita Airport, go to B1. You will find RED Narita Express ticket booth and machines on the right and BLUE Skyliner ticket booth and machines on the left.
-To the Airport:
N'EX - Go to your nearest JR station to buy ticket. You can buy tickets even though express train does not stop at your nearest station.
Skyliner - Go to Nippori or Ueno to buy tickets.
2:52-4:05 Tips on express train
Tip 1 - Arrive to the station 15-20 minutes early (on return)
There is always a long line at the ticket booth and the platform to get on the train might be quite far from the gate so make sure to arrive early.
Tip 2 - Use ticket machine when in hurry
Usually you don't need to wait in line for ticket machines to buy a ticket and takes only about 5 minutes. Consider this as an option when you are in hurry.
Tip 3 - Sit at the front of the car
Luggage compartment is located at the front and the end of the each car of express train. People get stuck when getting the luggage upon arrivals. It is stressful to worry about if you can get out or not so it's good to sit at the front. (the end is ok too.)
Note: About tickets
when you buy tickets by credit card, you will receive 3 tickets - an express train ticket, receipt, and credit card receipt. You need to show only the train ticket to the train attendant.
CORRECTION: X 4 ticket → ◉ 3 tickets
(I was with my gf so we had 4 tickets.)
4:05 - 5:22 Bus
- LCC (Tokyo Shuttle and Access Narita) can take you to/from Tokyo and Ginza Station.
- Limousine Bus runs to/from major hotels.
5:23 - 6:05 How to take the bus
-Limousine Bus and Tokyo Shuttle - At Narita Airport on the first floor, you can find ticket machines and man booth.
-Access Narita - All you need to do is go to the train stop and pay on the bus. No reservation needed.

A ticket allows unlimited rides on Tokyo Metro for 24 hours from first use. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day.
Featured Places:
Ueno Park (Lotus Garden) - For the more adventurous, the Japanese summer allows you to capture the special atmosphere that fills Ueno Park with life. Ueno Park may seem crowded, but the large spaces allow you to daydream in the shade of large trees without being disturbed. It's only in this season that Shinobazu Pond, located south-west, puts on the the impressive spectacle of flowering lotus, with giant petals covering the entire surface of the water.
Asakusa - Asakusa (浅草) is the center of Tokyo's shitamachi (literally low city), one of Tokyo's districts, where an atmosphere of the Tokyo of past decades survives. sakusa's main attraction is Sensoji, a very popular Buddhist temple, built in the 7th century. The temple is approached via the Nakamise, a shopping street that has been providing temple visitors with a variety of traditional, local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries.
Shibuya - Shibuya (渋谷) is one of the twenty-three city wards of Tokyo, but often refers to just the popular shopping and entertainment area found around Shibuya Station. In this regard, Shibuya is one of Tokyo's most colorful and busy districts, packed with shopping, dining and nightclubs serving swarms of visitors that come to the district everyday. A prominent landmark of Shibuya is the large intersection in front of the station's Hachiko Exit. The intersection is heavily decorated by neon advertisements and giant video screens and gets flooded by pedestrians each time the crossing light turns green, making it a popular photo and movie filming spot.
Tokyo Tower - Standing 333 meters high in the center of Tokyo, Tokyo Tower (東京タワー) is the world's tallest, self-supported steel tower and 13 meters taller than its model, the Eiffel Tower. A symbol of Japan's post-war rebirth as a major economic power, Tokyo Tower was the country's tallest structure from its completion in 1958 until 2012 when it was surpassed by the Tokyo Skytree. In addition to being a popular tourist spot, Tokyo Tower serves as a broadcast antenna.
Skytree - The Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. It is the centerpiece of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City Ward, not far away from Asakusa. With a height of 634 meters (634 can be read as Musashi, a historic name of the Tokyo Region), it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion. A large shopping complex with aquarium is located at its base.
Tokyo Station - Served by Shinkansen high-speed rail lines, Tokyo Station is the main inter-city rail terminal in Tokyo. It is the busiest station in Japan in terms of number of trains per day (over 3,000), and the fifth-busiest in Eastern Japan in terms of passenger throughput. It is also served by many regional commuter lines of Japan Railways, as well as the Tokyo Metro network.

Edo-Tokyo Museum (江戸東京博物館), Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本)
Video and photographs of exhibits at Edo-Tokyo Museum (江戸東京博物館/Edo Tōkyō Hakubutsukan) in Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本) during our visit on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015.

Established in 1993, the Edo-Tokyo Museum displays the history of Tokyo during the Edo (江戸) period. The main features of the permanent exhibitions include a life-size replica of the Nihonbashi (日本橋, meaning Japan Bridge), which was the bridge leading into Edo; the Nakamuraza (中村座) theater; and scale models of towns and buildings from the Edo, Meiji (明治時代) and Shōwa (昭和時代) periods. The museum is adjacent to the Ryōgoku Kokugikan (両国国技館). It was designed by Kiyonori Kikutake (菊竹 清訓). The distinctive elevated shape of the museum building is modeled after an old storehouse in the kurazukuri (蔵造り) style.
The Edo period (江戸時代/Edo jidai) or Tokugawa period (徳川時代/Tokugawa jidai) is the period between 1603 and 1868 in the history of Japan, when Japanese society was under the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate and the country's 300 regional daimyo (大名).
Address: 1-4-1 Yokoami, Sumida, Tokyo, Japan
The museum is located about five minutes walk from Ryogoku Station (両国駅, Ryōgoku-eki).
