GREAT BRITAIN: NORWICH (Norfolk, England, UK)
Norwich is a city in Norfolk, England. Granted historic city status, and situated on the River Wensum in East Anglia, it lies approximately 100 miles (160 km) north-east of London. It is the county town of Norfolk and is considered the capital of East Anglia, with a population of 141,300. From the Middle Ages until the Industrial Revolution, Norwich was the largest city in England after London, and one of the most important.
The city is the most complete medieval city in the United Kingdom, including cobbled streets such as Elm Hill, Timber Hill and Tombland, ancient buildings such as St Andrew's Hall, half-timbered houses such as Dragon Hall, The Guildhall and Strangers' Hall, the Art Nouveau of the 1899 Royal Arcade, many medieval lanes and the winding River Wensum that flows through the city centre towards Norwich Castle.
The city has two universities, the University of East Anglia and the Norwich University of the Arts, and two cathedrals, Norwich Cathedral and St John the Baptist Cathedral.
Norwich holds the largest permanent undercover market in Europe. The urban area of Norwich had a population of 213,166 according to the 2011 Census.

City hall and Guildhall
These are two of the most iconic buildings that can be found in the city centre. Norwich City Hall was built in 1938 and the Guildhall is a medieval building, also found in the city centre. I would like viewers to see these two buildings from new interesting angles, including low-angles, and see features that they wouldn't have seen before, such as the carvings on Guildhall.

UK: LONDON: PRESIDENT MANDELA ATTENDS GUILDHALL BANQUET
Eng / Nat
Nelson Mandela has wrapped up the second day of his state visit to Britain at London's historic Guildhall.
The South African President was honoured by the City of London, before going on to his final engagement, a banquet at the official residence of the Lord Mayor.
The meeting in London's financial heartland gave the President the chance to appeal for investment in his country.
Nelson Mandela is the first Commonwealth head of state to receive the award of Honorary Freedom of the City of London.
And to celebrate the historic occasion, the South African president was guest of honour at a banquet at Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London.
True to tradition in the City of London, there was much pomp and ceremony at the occasion attended by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and civic dignitaries.
But more importantly, for President Mandela, the banquet was attended by Britain's financiers - the people who influence whether Britain invests in South Africa.
Mandela's visit to London has so far been mostly ceremonial. But there is a serious side. He is here to persuade British firms to invest in his country.
And on Wednesday he was able to make his plea directly to the heads of those financial institutions.
The Lord Mayor of the City of London told Mr Mandela that he had the best wishes and the tremendous good will of the institutions and workforce of the City of London in his bid to rebuild South Africa.
SOUNDBITE:
It has been said that there can be no authority without leadership, you Mr President are the symbol of that authority by your example, your foresight and your presence. We all fervently hope that your health and vigour will continue undiminished.
SUPER CAPTION: The Lord Mayor of the City of London
SOUNDBITE:
It's now my great pleasure and indeed my privilege to ask me to join you in a toast to the president our new freeman.
SUPER CAPTION: The Lord Mayor of London
In his speech Mandela called on the Financial institutions to help give South Africans a better life.
SOUNDBITE:
Now that we're free from suppression and enforced division, the challenge is to make a reality of our vision of a society in which all are free from want. By conferring this privilege, you reaffirm your faith in South Africans to be worthy of this noble aspiration. We will cherish that honour, it will reinforce us in our determination to work together for a better life.
SUPER CAPTION: Nelson Mandela, South African President
The President received a rapturous applause - but it remains to be seen whether the City will invest in South Africa.
