The Magic Chair at the Story Museum in Oxford
One of the fun attractions at the Story Museum in Oxford is this great chair. First children (and adults) are encourage to pick a adjective, noun and place and put them into a story board. This is then cleverly read out loud by the chair when the person sits down. The kids found this great fun and must have sat down close to twenty times each.

Oxford, a city in central southern England, revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval center led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the 'City of Dreaming Spires'. University College and Magdalen College are off the High Street, which runs from Carfax Tower (with city views) to the Botanic Garden on the River Cherwell
Oxford is a city in the South East region of England and the county town of Oxfordshire. Oxford is the 52nd largest city in the United Kingdom, and one of the fastest growing and most ethnically diverse. The city of Oxford is situated 57 miles (92 km) from London, 69 miles (111 km) from Bristol, 65 miles (105 km) from both Southampton and Birmingham and 25 miles (40 km) from Reading.
Oxford is known worldwide as the home of the University of Oxford, the oldest university in the English-speaking world. Buildings in Oxford demonstrate notable examples of every English architectural period since the late Saxon period. Oxford is known as the city of dreaming spires, a term coined by poet Matthew Arnold. Oxford has a broad economic base. Oxford industries include motor manufacturing, education, publishing and a large number of information technology and science-based businesses, some being academic offshoots.
Oxford is served by nearby London Oxford Airport, in Kidlington. The airport is also home to Oxford Aviation Academy, an airline pilot flight training centre, and several private jet companies. Bus services in Oxford and its suburbs are run by the Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach Oxfordshire as well as other operators including Thames Travel, Arriva and several smaller operators. About The Story Museum
The Story Museum works to celebrate and demonstrate the power of stories to inspire learning, especially for the young. A charity and non-profit company, it is in the process of transforming a pumpkin project into a magical new world centre of children’s literature and storytelling in the heart of historic Oxford. The Museum celebrated the end of its first phase of building in April 2014, with the launch of a shop and café, and the interactive 26 Characters exhibition. The Museum continues to campaign for funds to complete the rest of its development. The Museum’s patrons are Kevin Crossley-Holland, Michael Morpurgo, Philip Pullman, Michael Rosen and Jacqueline Wilson.

Inside the Oxford University Museum of Natural History
The Museum of Natural History is one of the landmarks of Oxford, its beautiful great glass hall known to generations of visitors. This film follows the staff at the institution for a day, revealing a world of discovery behind the scenes, as researchers use everything from laser scanning and high-tech photography to dentists’ drills and paintbrushes to uncover the stories behind literally millions of animal, plant and mineral specimens.
Bloodline - British Museum
With Bruce filming with his handycam Ben Hammott takes the chest and its contents to be analyzed at the British Museum in London. The items turn out to be a 1st century drinking cup; a 1st century, Jerusalemite, ungentarium or ointment jar ; and a 1st century alabastra phial containing a rolled parchment, which was later dated by Oxford University to the 15th century.
