Prodigy Thunder Nottingham Robin Hood Sherwood HOG Runout Rutland Sycamore Harley Davidson April 09
The UK Nottingham Sherwood Harley Davidson HOG Chapter had a Group Runout To Rutland - the smallest county in England. Here they are setting off from Robin Hood Dealership in Chilwell - meeting up with the Lincoln group en route - and riding - 50 bikes plus - en route to Sycamore Harley Davidson in Rutland. Nice. A bacon butty van made the run all the more agreeable and the dealership is pretty impressive an' all!. This has been done pop-video style to Prodigy's Thunder.

Derbyshire Property For Sale - Hollybank, The Dale, Bonsall, DE4 2AY
For full details visit:

Email: info@benjaminoliverestates.co.uk
This particular spot in Bonsall is exactly what you would expect of a traditional village on the edge of the peak district. As you proceed along The Dale you're surrounded by pleasant countryside views and traditional dry stone walls. You'll pass by all types of unique and individually designed properties which add a wonderful character and village feel to the surroundings. A perfect location for Hollybank...
From the outside, Hollybank is simply beautiful. Comfortably tucked away behind a dry stone wall and double gates, it seems to blend in effortlessly with the rural surroundings. Clearly when this property was designed and built, the aim was not to build an ultra-contemporary residence with little sympathy for the surroundings. Instead, they made the wise decision to create a most attractive, cottage style family home which complements the peaceful settings.
The attention to detail on the exterior is remarkable. Built to a superior standard using natural and reclaimed materials, the property is constructed of Limestone with gritstone quoins, heads and sills to the windows, all set under a traditional slate roof. With an exterior so aesthetically pleasing and such a huge amount of kerbside appeal, you'll be excited just thinking about what the accommodation inside will reveal...
When most think of a Cottage, the phrases welcoming, warm and friendly are usually associated. All of which can be said of Hollybank. Most will also think of small, but this is far from the case. Whilst the property may look a pleasing size from the outside, you'll be stunned at just how much room there is on the inside. It's almost like you've walked into a tardis with huge reception rooms and excellent sized double bedrooms spanned across three floors.
You'll also be delighted to discover that the extraordinary attention to detail on the exterior has been carried on, if not bettered, from top to bottom inside. Without seeing Hollybank for yourself, it's almost impossible to comprehend the superior quality of the internal accommodation. There are so many impressive individual features, fixtures and fittings that it would take hours just to go through those on the ground floor.
One would struggle to choose a favourite aspect of Hollybank because the whole property is of such a high standard. However, particular highlights include a marvellous reception hallway. Separating the guest accommodation from the rest of the house, this is an entrance to behold. With a stone flagged floor, exposed beams, lintels and timber work, a double height ceiling and a carved wooden staircase leading to an outstanding mezzanine dining area. There is also a reclaimed timber column which rises to the first floor.
The lounge is also a quite extraordinary living space. Inset a rustic brick fireplace, flames flicker from a feature wood burning stove, exuding warmth and adding to a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. The
solid oak flooring which is found throughout most of the property is a pleasing accompaniment to the rest of the timber work on display and the windows to three elevations allow for views across the un-spoilt surrounding countryside. Who needs a TV when you can view such wonderful scenery from the comfort of your own lounge..?
The second floor also provides a further reception room, bespoke fitted kitchen with hand crafted units and a lobby with a staircase to the second floor.
The second floor has been skilfully converted to provide three double bedrooms. Each adhering to the same excellent standards found throughout the rest of the property, the master features an en suite shower room and there is a further family bathroom.
A feature I have yet to mention is the versatility of the Hollybank. For those with Holiday let/Bed & Breakfast interests or for those that require separate accommodation for relatives or guests, the layout has been well planned to accommodate such interests. Awarded four diamonds by VisitBritain Quality in Tourism, the property has been successfully run as a popular holiday let with the ground floor double bedrooms (each having their own en suite facilities) being used as guest accommodation...
Robin Hood Sherwood Chapter HOG Rideout Nottingham Monyash
The UK Nottingham Sherwood Harley Davidson HOG Chapter had a Group Runout To Monyash, Derbyshire. Here they are setting off from Robin Hood Dealership in Chilwell - a quick section of group bike riding and arrival at The Bulls Head Pub in Monyash where icecreams and bacon sarnies were the order of the day - by law(!) It was an unseasonably hot British Summer's day so advantage had to be taken of it. Final scenes are at Ambergate lay-by en route back from Matlock Bath (naturally).

toms barn luxury self catering derbyshire peak district
Although this video is the latest to appear on YouTube it actually is the oldest, dating from November 2008.
Our style? Understated luxury.
We may have luxury cottages but ours is an unflashy luxury: nothing twee, no unnecessary frills or fussiness but everything good quality, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and in excellent condition.
We do not make economy purchases but use well respected suppliers (including it must be said Ikea when appropriate!).
Mainly we use such as Farrow & Ball for all interior paint, and Valti for outside, John Lewis and The White Company for linen and towels, Vi-Spring mattresses (and bed in Tom's Barn), Gilchrist & Soames for 'toiletries'; we buy top of the range electrical equipment.
What extras can you expect to find?
We try to provide everything - within reason - you might need (see Tom's Barn & Douglas's Barn for more detail).
You will find fresh flowers and awaiting your arrival a welcoming tea tray with a freshly (home-) made cake or biscuits.
We provide some staple fresh ingredients (some owners call this a 'Welcome Hamper' such as a loaf of bread, a pint of milk, some butter and half a dozen freshly laid local farm eggs.
There is also flour, sugar rice etc, tea and coffee and some dried herbs and spices.
Each barn has its own mini herb garden in a pot by the front door and in the summer months we leave you a jug of fresh herbs from our garden.
You will find all household staples such as loo paper and tabs for the dishwasher.
There are books to read, some DVD's and CD's, maps, walk books and some well-worn games.
You will always find the current edition of the local 'stunner' otherwise known as the Ashbourne Daily Telegraph, Derbyshire Life and the Radio Times.
There is (free) Wi-fi internet access (ask for the password) and also, for those that don't want to bring their own, a Sony netbook for your own use, already programmed with a number of links to useful local websites.
Relaxation:
We want coming here to feel a treat rather than a hardship... We want you to go home feeling totally indulged, relaxed and refreshed, ready to meet the real world again.
Rest and relaxation? That is easy, you can't help it!
Gourmet eating? If you want to cook - all the equipment is there including a slow-cooker; if you'd rather go out, you can follow the links on the Netbook to book a delicious meal somewhere, or to arrange a caterer...
Pampering/self-indulgence? Just fill the whirlpool bath (but go easy on the soap bubbles...) light a candle and find - and fill - the plastic champagne glasses.
