Golden Zephir [Disney California Adventures]
- Buena Vista Street : anciennement « Golden State » jusqu’en 2012.
Sensations garanties !
- Hollywood Land : Ahhhh Hollywood ! Les année 30 ! L’âge d’or !
Magique !
Allez ! « Happy Birthday » Disney California Adventures…

Entry Title: Disneyland Day 2 & California Adventure Park
Entry:
Today we used the second day of our Disneyland Pass. As we are staying in a Disneyland Resort we were able to enter an hour before the general public. This was great as the busier rides that had long wait on day one we got on straight away. Our first ride was Finding Nemo, this ride took you under the water in a submarine at the Great Barrier Reef. It was excellent you felt like you were there, clown fishes, sharks and turtles swimming around and coral on the ocean floor. We were then off to the Buss Light Years astro blaster, this was fantastic brought back the child in us all and was in 3D. We went around the ride on the train and had to use our laser guns to shoot the targets and get point to help Buzz. Haydn won of course. Next stop Fantasy land. First stop here was the Matterhorn bobsleds, this is a roller coaster that goes around the mountain, through water and has lots of sharp turns and as you can not go to Disneyland without doing the Mad Tea Party ride and the Alice in Wonderland ride were next on our hit list. Haydn sat these ones out and play the paparazzi for the duration of the rides. Then we all relaxed on the Storybook Land C**** boats. We were then off to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to get Celise a Cinderella makeover. They did her hair, makeup, fingernails to look just like a fairy princess. Then when Celise's said the magic words the mirror lit up with all parkling lights and the transformation was complete. Then we were off to finish the rides at Tomorrowland. This land is all about the future. The Innoventions featured a dream home and electronics of the future. We watch a 3D experience called Honey I shrunk the audience, the inventor shrunk us all, this was Celise's first 3D experience and was a bit nervous to start with. The floor vibrated so we felt like there were mice calling through our feet. We then went on It's a small world ride, and believe us if we never heae the song it's a small world again it will be to soon, we did a quick walk through Mickey Toontown and met Pluto and Mickey. Julie and Celise had a couple of rides here, this part of Disneyland is all for the children. We all decided to leave the park to have lunch as the food is all ****. Went to Denny's for a late lunch as had a walk around the shops. Then Celise wanted to go to California disney. Being a hot day we decided that we would head to a water ride so off Grizzly River Run we went and believe me it looked like we had pulled our clothes out the washer and put them on before they had a chance to spin.basically it was like a wheely bin of water was thrown at us. Then we wanted to go on the big roller coaster but the line was about 1 hour long so opted for Toy Story Midway Mania 4D in this we were in cars and had guns in front of us and had to hit targets to gain point Nikki came out on top at this one. Celise also had a go on the swing chair. As the park closed at 6 pm we headed to Soarin' California which is a simulated ride which is like you are hang gliding over California. Pretty cool. We decided because of the poor food choices available that we would go to the 7 eleven to pick up some bread, ham and cheese to make simple sandwiches for dinner. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures from Haydn, Julie Celise and Nikki

History - Disney California Adventure Park 2001 - 2012
Disney California Adventure Park, commonly referred to as Disney California Adventure, California Adventure, or DCA, is a theme park located in Anaheim, California. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division. The 72-acre park is themed after the history and culture of California, which celebrates the fun and adventure of the state through the use of various Disney, Pixar and Marvel properties. The park opened on February 8, 2001, as Disney's California Adventure Park or Disney's California Adventure, and it is the second of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort complex, after Disneyland Park.
The concept of a theme park dedicated to California arose from a meeting of Disney executives in 1995, following the cancellation of the WestCOT project. Construction of the park began in 1998 and was completed by early 2001. Disney initially projected high attendance rates at the new park; however, a series of preview openings held in January 2001 led to negative reviews, and after the park officially opened to the public on February 8, 2001, the company's attendance projections were never met. Disney spent the next several years incrementally adding new rides, shows, and attractions, and implementing other promotions aimed at boosting attendance. In 2007, Disney announced a major expansion of the park as well as a major overhaul of a significant portion of the park. Construction lasted for five years and was completed in stages, culminating with the opening of Buena Vista Street and Cars Land in June 2012.

Disney California Adventure Park - Disneyland Resort Vacation Planning Video (3 of 9)
Disneyland Resort: Disney California Adventure Park
(
Since its opening in 2001 with such popular attractions as, California Screamin’ and Grizzly River Run, Disney California Adventure has been bringing adventure and fun to life with Disney storytelling magic... With the addition of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street in 2012, the park features more than 35 adventures and attractions plus distinctive entertainment and dining.
The spectacular “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” musical premiered in 2016.This adaption of “Frozen,” the Walt Disney Animation Studios blockbuster film, delights guests of all ages with elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects, show-stopping production numbers and some unique theatrical surprises.
New for summer 2017, guests will embark on a comically cosmic adventure at Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, dropping into a new Super Hero universe inspired by the popular “Guardians of the Galaxy” film.
Disney California Adventure has grown from its original three themed lands – Golden State, Paradise Pier and Hollywood Pictures Backlot – to a total of eight lands including the 12-acre Cars Land and Buena Vista Street, “a bug’s land” (which opened in 2002), a renamed Hollywood Land, Grizzly Peak featuring the newly reimagined Grizzly Peak Airfield and the exciting new attraction Soarin’ Around the World, Pacific Wharf (all formerly parts of the Golden State area) and Paradise Pier.
Among the newer attractions in Disney California Adventure are Toy Story Mania!, an interactive, ride-through attraction where guests enter into a 4D carnival midway hosted by the “Toy Story” characters; “World of Color,” an award-winning, nighttime water spectacular featuring nearly 1,200 fountains that bring Disney animation to life; and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, a “dark ride” that transports guests “under the sea” to experience scenes and beloved songs from the Little Mermaid film.
The opening of Cars Land in 2012 added Radiator Springs Racers, a high-octane indoor/outdoor adventure that revs through Radiator Springs and concludes with a high-speed race through the mountains of Ornament Valley, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, in which baby tractors swing guests through a Cars Land hoedown. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters invites guests to climb aboard miniature Italian roadsters, Luigi’s Italian cousins, as they whirl into the traditional dances of their village. Buena Vista Street offers the Red Car Trolley attraction and Carthay Circle Restaurant, one of the premiere dining locations at the Disneyland Resort.
Since 1955, the Disneyland Resort has welcomed more than 750 million guests. It has expanded to become an approximately 500-acre, world-class, multi-day, family vacation destination, complete with two renowned Disney theme parks, three hotels, and the exciting shopping, dining and entertainment district known as Downtown Disney.

So a little about me. I grew up in Florida where going to Walt Disney World was something we did ALLLLL the time. My first real job was a Cast Member @ WDW. I've also worked for Sea World, Lion Country Safari(FL) Disneyland, & Knott's Berry Farms. But now I got to get my mind off of the pain of Lupus, osteoporosis & fibromyalgia. and yes i'm only in my 30's but have had lupus since I was 15. But one thing I have learned is going to the parks gets my mind off the pain. And if it works for me. Maybe it will work for someone who can't get out of bed or make it to the parks.
So I hope you like add and subscribe. Im at the parks alllllll the time so say hi. I have a camera on my head so im easy to spot. I will try to have a video everyday on one of my Channels..
Thank you
Danny Elliott
Paradise Prier [Disney California Adventures]
- Buena Vista Street : anciennement « Golden State » jusqu’en 2012.
Sensations garanties !
- Hollywood Land : Ahhhh Hollywood ! Les année 30 ! L’âge d’or !
Magique !
Allez ! « Happy Birthday » Disney California Adventures…
