360 video: View from Leaning Tower, Pisa, Italy
One of the most iconic landmarks in the entire Italy, this tower stands to prove that sometimes, even the impossible can be made to happen.
Works on this seven-floors-high tower started in 1173. Soon after, in 1178, it became evident that the tower had started to tilt due to the unstable ground underneath. This led to momentarily giving up on the effort.
The construction started anew nearly a century later and finally drew to a close in 1319. By then, the architectural style had changed from Romanesque to Gothic, which can be seen on the tower's design.
The tower never stopped moving downwards until the final reconstruction in 2001. Then the structure was stabilized, and so today, it is completely safe to climb it.
When visiting, keep in mind that it is forbidden to carry bags into the tower. There is a nearby cloakroom available, though. There also tend to be long lines before the entry. If you wish to avoid these, purchase the tickets online ahead of time. Tickets have to be bought for a specific time.

Visitig Pisa and Lucca, Italy
Pisa is a city in Italy's Tuscany region best known for its iconic leaning tower. Already tilting when it was completed in 1372, the 56m white-marble cylinder is the bell tower of the Romanesque, striped-marble cathedral that rises next to it in the Piazza dei Miracoli. Lucca is known for the well-preserved Renaissance walls encircling its historic city center and its cobblestone streets. Broad, tree-lined pathways along the tops of these massive 16th- and 17th-century ramparts are popular for strolling and cycling. Casa di Puccini, where the great opera composer was born, is now a house museum.

360 video: Piazza del Duomo, Pisa, Italy
Also known as Piazza dei Miracoli, this is the ground that connects several of probably the most famous landmarks in Italy. Housing the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistry, the Campanile, the Camposanto Monumentale, and - of course - the leaning tower of Pisa, this square offers you a day-long experience in such a condensed space without the need to transport yourself long-distance.
The piazza (Italian for square) itself is a beautiful sight, offering an outstanding perspective of this history-loaded place that every lover of the past surely must visit at least once in their lifetime.
Due to its popularity, you need to be prepared to meet a lot of tourists on your walk around the square, but it is a small drawback compared to the experience you will gain from visiting this beautiful and stunning place.
