This is a great road that is accessible by just about any vehicle, as you see i the video I passed a VW Beetle that was enjoying the scenic dirt road rive. This is one of the most popular and best maintained dirt roads in the park.

I made this trip in March, 2016. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera, mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).

Drive in 20 Mule Team Canyon, Death Valley
Wonderful experience of driving at 20 Mule Team Canyon in Death Valley National Park
20 Mule Team Canyon Rd Death Valley National Park
We went to Death Valley National Park in February 2019. This was recorded on Saturday the 23rd in the afternoon. This is an area we will be going back to in the future. Where we parked in the middle of the movie is a nice place to explore, but I couldn't get my Oregon 650 to turn on, so we didn't venture to far from the jeep. Maybe a half mile, but the pictures we got were awesome. At some point I'll have to switch over to a different video program that allows photos, because the area is so much better away from the road.

In this video, I give you a look at both Twenty Mule Team Canyon and Golden Canyon in Death Valley National Park. Twenty Mule Team is an extensive, colorful badland area and Golden Canyon is a network of tighter slot canyons. Both offer amazing hiking and views of fabulous geological formations.
The video ends with a selection of still images, some showing the closer up views of rocks and plants after heavy rain had flooded the washes. Enjoy!

Off Road - Death Valley - 20 Mule Team Canyon
Death Valley California 2017 - Off road drive through 20 Mule Team Canyon was taken with a very inexpensive Xiaomi Yi action cam at 1920X 1080 at 60 fps and a 155 degree lens. The camera was suction cup mounted to a four wheel drive. There was no stabilization initially and post processing was done in Adobe Premiere. Due to software stabilization there are artifacts and distortions in the video but it doesn't take away from the stark beauty of the drive.
The opening photo was taken at The Devils Golf Course at Badwater, South West of this location.
