Kenya From the Air
SOMETIMES YOU STUMBLE ACROSS a place that seems like it got far more than its fair share of natural beauty. Places with spectacular wildlife, gorgeous scenery, and an almost absurdly beautiful culture. Kenya is one of those places. I haven't scratched the surface yet, says Jamie Gaymer, a game warden at the Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy, and there is so much out there in these remote places that has not been explored. And I have the opportunity to spend the rest of my life doing that.
You've undoubtedly seen Kenya on wildlife and nature programs on TV. But we decided to go to Kenya and shoot it in a different way. We took to the skies. From drones and from planes, we traveled to the remote and beautiful parts of one of the most stunning places in the world and captured its wildlife, its landscapes, and all of its natural beauty from above. The result is one of the most beautiful videos we've ever done. Check it out.
Special thanks to our friends at Ol Jogi

Zaina falls day trip by Kenya Outdoors
A spectacular and adventurous excursion to Aberdares Ranges through to Zaina falls one of the best Kenyan hidden tourist attraction through Kamuyu shopping center.
This is only discovered after one takes the initiative to trek down a slope which would qualify to be one of the best natural gyms.
The slope stands at over 60% and by mere climbing up and down the hill, one is sure of losing at least a kilo for every two trips they make on the trail.
After trekking down for about 200 metres,a stunning sight of a water fall appears from the bushes.
The valleys themselves are exquisite scenery. At the floor of the valley one is met with some clean water springs whose water is as sweet as honey having been filtered by the dense vegetation upstream.
The Nature walks/Trekking/Short hikes takes about 2-3 hours up and down to the falls, hence its also ideal for Novice hikers/Beginners
East Africa Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination East Africa.
East Africa is one of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in the world and its magnificent wilderness and fascinating wildlife is one of the few remaining unspoiled regions on earth. Lake Naivasha is the ideal habitat for both the rare Fish Eagle and African Eagle, thus it is a perfect location from which to observe these fascinating birds. Due to its rich variety of wildlife and the spectacular beauty of its landscape Kenya is one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. The Massai Mara National Park is located around six hours from Nairobi and is one of the country’s most extraordinary game reserves. Its name indicates the presence of one of Africa’s most colourful tribes, the Massai. The Amboseli National Park also contains many of East Africa’s most important landscapes and represents the magnificence of the African flora and fauna that grows in this relatively small, protected area. The local wildlife stays at a safe distance from the geysers of Lake Bogoria as the steaming hot springs can prove fatal for the flamingos and other water birds that live there. Nevertheless, quite often the bones of dead animals can be seen close to the geysers as some venture too close and are killed by the hot steam. At an altitude of nearly six thousand metres, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent. For most of the time its summit is covered by a dense ring of cloud that gives the mountain an air of mystique. There are few other places on earth that offer the huge variety of nature as does the legendary east of the African continent. A magical destination and a wild natural paradise that is second to none!

Swara Plains Wildlife Conservation in Athi River, Kenya
Swara Plains Wildlife Conservation in Athi River Kenya boasts 100 km of trails that lead to over 3,000 game animals, 300 bird species and 8 dams. ???? SUBSCRIBE FOR WEEKLY KENYA SAFARI VIDEOS ►
#Wildlife_Conservation
For an adventure holiday in Kenya, the Swara Plains Wildlife Conservancy offers day and night Safari drives for those longing to discover the savanna and meet Kenya’s wildlife including cheetah, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, ostriches, hyenas and more. Other Safari activities offered include safari bike rentals, safari hikes and the newly introduced archery and yoga.
This Swara Plains Wildlife Conservation video, I took on Sunday November 2018 morning with an intention to show the types of animals that you will see at the game ranch. The Swara Accacia game ranch is quite huge, about 20,000 acres of protected land, so you have plenty of wildlife to see.
Wildlife Conservation
Swara Accacia game ranch was first acquired in the 1960s by conservation pioneer Mr. David Hopcraft. In 1982, a group of students came to study the wildlife and needed a place to stay, therefore the lodge and tented campsite were built. The program was quite successful drawing a lot of interest that encouraged additional development and growth.
The Swara Accacia lodge was then opened to the public in the early 2000s. The wildlife here have learnt to live well with the locals and its visitors at the game ranch, nature walks and biking through the wilderness has become as popular as the safari game drives. It’s unlikely for you to see the big five, especially elephants and leopards, though a pride of giraffes, jackals, buffalos, Impalas and lots of zebra will be easily spotted here.
At the Swara Accacia game ranch you will certainly get up close and personal with the local wildlife. With uncontrolled access to the private 20,000 acre Swara Plains Wildlife Conservancy, home to over 3,000 animals and 300 avian species. You will see lots of giraffes, zebras and warthogs. Watch the grazing wildebeest, hartebeast, gazelle and antelope. Spot ostriches, hyenas, jackals and honey badgers in their natural habitat through your binoculars.
They also offer safari game drives in their Safari vehicles, or if you have the heart you can do a self-guided tour using your own car. The game reserve boasts a network of over 100 km of trails. They also offer night safari drives for the chance to see nocturnal animals come alive in the dark bush. There are 8 dams with boat rentals and river tours too, for those who wish to go fishing.
The Swara Accacia game ranch is one of the only ranches that do not keep the more dangerous big 5 which is why discovering this game ranch via bike rides and hikes very popular. Swara Acacia Lodge is one of most practical places to go in Nairobi for a great outdoor activity around Nairobi. If you fancy a rugged adventure, you can opt to stay in one of their ensuite tents and spend your days trekking or cycling into the wilderness.
For sports fans, Swara Acacia Lodge offers onsite paintball, football, badminton, volleyball and table tennis. You can also wind down around the billiards table or dart board. Yoga lovers can take their refreshing practice out in the bush, a yoga instructor for a guided session can also be arranged. Archery lessons from a professional teacher are also on offer for both kids and adults.
Swara Plains Wildlife Conservation ranch offers the perfect atmosphere for family bonding. With a resident kid’s entertainer, your little ones will be entertained and supervised, while you take a rest with a good book and glass of wine.
The whole family can take full advantage of the wildlife sanctuary, by going on safari drives together and discovering it via biking or hiking. The Swara Plain lodge is often visited by the nearby wildlife too. Enjoy the sighting of monkeys jumping from roof to roof, go bird watching, and watch the wandering wildlife stroll by. We hope you have enjoyed watching this Swara Plains wildlife conservation video I took in Athi River Kenya.
Kindly comment and let us know if you have visited the Swara Acacia Lodge and what your experiences were.
If you haven’t already subscribed to Kenya Safari YouTube channel, please do so. We add Safari Videos at least every week featuring awesome wildlife in Kenya.

Top 10 Things to See and Do in Swaziland
In the summer of 2013, I visited the African country of Swaziland, also known as the Kingdom of Eswanti, which is a tiny, landlocked principality that borders Mozambique and South Africa.
My Film Making Kit ►
Even though it’s small, it’s incredibly diverse. I want to take you on a tour of the top 10 things you have to see and do when you go there. Are you ready to come along with me? Let’s get started.
Mbuluzi, a private game reserve that boasts an amazing number of grazing animals like giraffes, impala, zebra, kudu and nyala. It is roughly 3,000 hectares in area and borders the Lubombo Mountains, Mlawula Nature Reserve and Hlane Royal Park. Mbuluzi doesn’t contain any predators, so it’s safe to drive, walk, or cycle through the park without the supervision of a guide, although you can reserve a game drive with a guide if you want.
Sibebe Rock, the second largest monolith in the world after Uluru in the Northern Territory of Australia, and one of Swaziland’s iconic attractions. It towers over 350 meters above the valley of the Mbuluzu River and was named after a rock climber who tragically lost his life scaling the rock.
Shewula Mountain Camp, Swaziland’s first community-owned eco-tourism attraction. This beautiful and unique camp, set in the Shewula Nature Reserve, offers village walks that allow visitors to get to know the local community and residents, witness traditional song and dance performances, visit a local healer, and enjoy the natural beauty of the reserve.
Swazi Candles Craft Market, a unique shopping center containing gift shops and boutiques that showcase the craftsmanship of local artisans, including wood carvers, basket weavers, jewelers, and mask makers. In the market’s namesake shop, Swazi Candles, you can buy colorful paraffin wax candles that have been molded and sculpted, by hand, into various animal shapes.
Swazi Trails is the only white water rafting tour operator in the country, and therefore this adventure is the only one of its kind in Swaziland. A trained Swazi Trails river guide will accompany you for either a half day or full day, depending on which package you buy, and no prior experience is needed on your part.
Hlane Royal National Park, the largest game park in Swaziland. The park covers roughly 85 square miles and features four of the Big 5 safari animals: elephants, rhinos, leopards, and my favorite, lions, like this guy I had to wake up super early to catch! It was also amazing to come across so many rhinos during my game drives.
Ngwenya Glass Factory in the town of Motshane. It is regarded as the most prestigious glass factory in Africa. Here, you can watch the professionals make beautiful and intricate glass creations, including decorative bowls, wine glasses, chess sets, and animals like whales, fish, gazelles and even the Big 5.
Mantenga Cultural Village, which features Swaziland’s top traditional song and dance show and is located in the beautiful Mantenga Falls Nature Reserve. After enjoying the traditional harmonies and energetic dances, you can tour a reconstruction of an 1850s Swazi hut village and learn about the tradition diet, customs, and family structure from local guides.
Mkhaya Game Reserve, one of Swaziland’s big game parks. Here, you can find a wide variety of wildlife, including black and white rhinos, elephants, giraffes, sable antelope, and buffalo. While the white rhino is endangered in Africa, Mkhaya is the best place in Swaziland to see one. The accommodations here are incredible.
Umhlanga Reed Dance, a fascinating, eight-day long cultural event that takes place at the Queen Mother’s Royal Residence, during which tens of thousands of the nation’s unmarried women cut reeds and carry them back to the Royal Residence, where they are used as windbreakers for the perimeter. The seventh day of the reed festival is a national holiday, and is when the king participates and thousands of spectators come out to see the women dance and celebrate the Queen Mother.
And there you have it! The top ten things you must see and do when you go to Swaziland. I hope you enjoyed this video, and that it inspired you to visit this amazing country. If you loved this video, please give it a thumbs up, leave me a comment below, and subscribe to my channel. Thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next travel adventure!

Discover Kenya in 8 Day Safari through Amboseli-Lake Naivasha Activities-Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara
Here’s your opportunity to discover all the colour of Africa! Massive elephant herds, the Big Five, hippos, rhinos and flamingos – the great land masses and shimmering lakes – they’re all here on this grand discovery tour.
This private 8-day safari of Kenya’s national parks will bring you to the heart of 5 outstanding game reserves: Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Hell’s Gate and the Masai Mara.
And though the tour covers a lot of ground, it’s still designed to move at a comfortable pace for everyone. There will be plenty of time for game viewing and for relaxing at your lodge or camp.
Your Natural World Safari departs Nairobi for the spectacular views found in Amboseli National Park. Here you’ll see Africa’s tallest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro – a towering backdrop to your stay. Amongst elephants, zebra, giraffe and dozens of bird species you’ll spend two nights here.
Lake Naivasha is up next on your tour. Set in the great rift valley, this cool, blue lake is home to hippos, zebras and bird life. Here you’ll take an easy boat ride, viewing the wildlife grazing on the shore.
Nearby Crescent Island features a walking safari where you will stroll amongst giraffes, zebras, impalas and waterbucks.
Then we’ll travel on to Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its abundant and peaceful wildlife. There are no big cats here, so we’ll have the opportunity to hike and bicycle past impalas, buffaloes, giraffes and zebras. You can’t get much closer to nature than this!
Our safari continues to Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a jewel in Kenya’s park system with lions, leopards, hippos and rare Rothschild’s giraffes. It’s also home to flamingos, pelicans and innumerable bird species.
There are even more flamingos to be seen at Lake Bogoria and we’ll visit there if you wish.
But perhaps the most unique attraction at Lake Nakuru Park are the endangered black & white rhinos. During your visit here, you are guaranteed viewings of both species.
We’ve saved the biggest for last. Our final safari stop is at world-renowned Masai Mara game reserve. The Mara is a place of vast grasslands, dotted with signature acacia trees. Here you’ll find thousands of wildebeests, zebras and many other species marching across this famous plain.
There will be lots of game drives for you to spot the Big Five, plus many other wildlife, during your 4 days and 3 night stay here.
At Natural World Safaris, we always offer you the largest choice of tours and accommodations. Depending on your taste and style, stay at a safari lodge or tented camp. And depending on your budget, we offer many choices in economy, comfort, superior comfort or luxury accommodations.
Your transport for the entire safari is in the comfort of a private pop-top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.

InterContinental Nairobi hotel room tour and Club InterContinental visit
As a traveler, business, luxury or otherwise, it's all about consistency. To me, that's the best part about staying at an InterContinental property, I know I'm going to find excellent service, luxurious accommodations and great food. As the last part of my adventure to Africa, I stayed at the InterContinental Nairobi. I was greeted by the staff with cookies and lemonade and taken to my stylish Deluxe Room, number 748. It offered great views of the central city (and its marabou storks) and was a just a nice, quiet place to rest before my very early morning depature. I headed down to the Club InterContinental lounge (it was on the sixth floor) and had a nice little dinner at their nightly happy hour. Then it was back up to my room to rest before my 3:45 a.m.(!!!) car pickup for a 5:45 a.m. flight to Istanbul, connecting to a flight home to Los Angeles. When I checked out, they presented me with a little gift bag, filled with the chocolate cookies I had enjoyed so much on check in. It's the little things that make a hotel a luxury hotel.
