Arusha to Manyara Park, Tanzania 1
Chemka hot springs / Tanzania
Close to Moshi town where we live, is a real oasis surrounded with dusty Massai villages.
Chemka hot springs beat out of the ground and then they form a big river with warm water and quite impetuous river flow. The temperature of water reaches 27 degrees which provides fantastic conditions for swimming and relaxing.

Arusha is a city of approximately 400,000 people in Northeast Tanzania, East Africa. It's regarded as the gateway to the popular Northern Safari Circuit.
Arusha, also known as A Town by the locals, is situated at the foot of Mount Meru, Africa's 5th highest mountain. The altitude gives the city a pleasant climate and lush green environment.
Arusha is not a particularly attractive city in itself and is regarded by many visitors as little more than a necessary stopover before their safari starts in earnest. However, the natural charm of the Tanzanians and the buzz of a fast-growing city mean that Arusha has plenty to offer for those who are prepared to see beyond their air-conditioned safari trucks and satellite-TV equipped hotel rooms.
Arusha is home to the UNMICT, the successor to the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. It is also the site of the signing of the Arusha Declaration.
Safari in Arusha, Tanzania
=====================
Definitely something to try, if you can afford it. There are many types of trips for many budgets; usually the pricier ones get you out farther into the Serengeti and the Ngorogongoro Crater, to places that are a little less touched by man. The less expensive excursions to reserves and parks are specialized, of a shorter duration, and worthwhile. If there's one trip that will change your perspective on life, it's an African safari.
Not all tour guides are knowledgeable on all topics. A field guide to your favourite pursuit, such as birding, which is popular with visitors, is a worthwhile idea.
Beware of paying more than market prices, you will still be offered the same accommodation as the person who is paying the regular price.

Go on one of their sustainable safaris across Tanzania, or volunteer with one of their partner organisations. They have fantastic options for both, and at a price that will suit every budget. See and Do in Arusha, Tanzania
==========================
Climb Mount Meru (4,667m). It can be done in 2-4 days, depending on your physical condition. You are not required to take guides and porters up Mount Meru, but you must be escorted by armed rangers. Temperatures can be freezing, so prepare warm clothing and sleeping bags.
Tanzania Tourist Board can arrange cultural excursions to nearby villages for TZS15,000-50,000. These cultural tourism visits can be some of the most rewarding parts of a trip to East Africa, and the human (cultural) element involved complements an animal-centric safari to the game parks. Some cultural tourism programs (Ilkiding'a, Ng'iresi) are within an hour's hike of Arusha. Several others are within an hour's drive (Monduli Juu, Longido, Mulala, Tengeru, Ilkurot, Oldonyo Sambu). They are great opportunities to learn about the Maasai and Meru tribes who live nearby, pastoralism, agriculture, stories & legends, local economies. There are several good hikes around Mt. Meru, including some beautiful waterfalls. Longido has camel safaris. They are flexible in nature, meaning you can arrange an hour-long visit or a day-long one. Some sites have lodging or camping.
Keep in mind your guide may ask for donations to a charity, school or orphanage. Some dishonest guides might pocket the money, so it is advisable to give money directly to a reputable charity. The guide will give you that information.
Century Cinema has movies for TZS5,000-7,000 (USD3-5). It is part of a modern complex on Njiro Rd, which also houses modern and upmarket restaurants including popular Indian restaurant Khan's, steak outlet McMoody's and serving Ethiopian, Tanzanian, European and other cuisines is a restaurant Spice Retreat. Njiro Rd is not safe to walk on at night, so get to the complex by another form of transport rather than by foot. A taxi to/from the town centre shouldn't cost more than TZS4,000 (USD3).
Coffee walk, Nkoaranga village (30 minutes drive from Arusha town towards Moshi), ☎ +255 784 420 342/+255 784 416 317 (info@wild-tracks.com) Private tours scheduled on demand. Coffee walk arranged by local coffee company on the slopes of Mt. Meru. A guide will take you to a small family farm and a coffee roastery to show you the journey of the coffee bean. $15-45pp (depending on group size).

Tanzania natural hot spring (chemka)
I'm a product designer doing volunteer in Tanzania from May - Aug, 2016.
Invited by local people, I went to this hot spring which was one hour away from where I lived (Boma). The water was lukewarm since it was warmed up by the heat coming from the crake of the stone. The cheapest way to get there is taking dala-dala to Boma (1000 shilling from Moshi; 2000 shilling from Arusha) and hire a tuk-tuk (25,000- 30,000 shilling). Ask tuk-tuk to wait at the chemka for 3 hrs. (you probably won't be able to go back if he ditches you)

Tanzania: Ruaha National Park - African Safari Diary #5
↠ SUBSCRIBE for more Africa Travel ↠ goo.gl/YCPFQW
Located in the heart of Tanzania, Ruaha is the 'other park' on the Southern circuit. Ruaha's relative inaccessibility means it gets far fewer tourists than the Selous and less than any comparable park in the Northern circuit. The rewards of traveling this far are a wild landscape with baobab studded hills and rocky escarpments, with superb wildlife; Ruaha safaris have reliably exciting predator concentrations, huge elephant and buffalo herds and a crossover of game from Southern and Eastern Africa

Standing on the biggest rock of East Africa! - VLOG 1 // Noord-Tanzania
TUENDE, TUENDE, LET's GO!

◎ Mijn verhaal? ◎

◎ About Charlie and Charlie's Travels ◎
Hi, I'm Charlie! Some time ago (in 2014) I started an internship in Kenya. I haven't left since, because I fell in love with Africa and started my own travel agency, Charlie's Travels. It's specialised in off the beaten track tours, because we think this continent is so much more than just safari tours and beaches. We believe that for the real Africa experience, you need to go beyond the tourist traps. Africa has so many stereotypes and preconceptions. By making cool and relevant content, we want to show you a different side of the continent! We want to create new routes and awesome adventures, which will make you want to travel here and see it for yourself.

Tanzanian Visit
My sisters and I attempt to see Tanzania in a mere 12 days. Hot springs in Moshi, A trip to my village in the mountains, a safari trek in Morogoro, and a lot of time sitting on buses. Loved every minute.
Tanzania Tourism Authorities Speak 1
Tanzania has more land devoted to national parks and game reserves than any other wildlife destination in the world. Everything from pristine coral reefs to the Crater Highlands, remote game reserves and the famous national parks are protected by government law and placed in trust for future generations to marvel at in wonder and awe. In addition to a listing of the main attractions of Tanzania, we have included many parks that are largely neglected in favour of the big names like Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It is our hope that in writing up these lesser-known locations, visitors may be tempted to include them on their itineraries and encourage tourism to other equally beautiful, parts of the country.
Most hunting reserves have been omitted due to restricted access for safari vehicles and wildlife tourists. Tanzania has incredible biodiversity, so wildlife populations and bird species often vary according to the season and region. A visit to one of the smaller game reserves for a short hiking trip or a day excursion is well worth the effort of an extended itinerary. Off the beaten track, the sights and sounds of Africa truly come alive.

Kikuletwa Hot Springs Oasis, Tanzania
The Kikuletwa Hot Spings tour is something worth checking out.
After driving for several hours in the hot Tanzanian Savannah, we finally arrived at what seemed to be a mirage in the desert. As we approached the cluster of palm trees, we saw a pristine fresh water oasis in the middle of such a dry landscape, this was incredibly refreshing to swim in. People were jumping from high up on tree tops and swinging from the rope to see who can make the most impressive dive. Although some of us did notice small fish bumping into us, it's only on the way back that we saw Jimmy's toe which had a clear bite mark, there seemed to have been some sort of piranha in those waters but none of that stopped us from enjoying the moment.
Nxai Pan National Park
We visited Nxai Pan in May 2019. If you want to see baobab trees but don't want to take risk driving to Kubu Island, then Nxai Pan is a perfect idea. Not very touristic, we met two vehicles on the way. Of course compare to Kubu, there are not so many baobab trees in Nxai Pan, but they are absolutely amazing! And you will encounter lots of wild animals, such as beautiful gemsbok and cute stenbok etc.
