Travel With Children: Advice for Train Travel
traveling on the train doesn't have to be a headache for parents. Just follow a few tips (most you already know) and things will run smoother. 1. RESERVE SEATS so junior has a place to sit and its not on top of you. 2. have snacks and drinks with you (train service may not have food and may not be very tasty). 3. Bring videos, a toy, and a blanket for them to make their trip a bit better. Ipods are great for kids movies.
Things that SHOCKED US about Mexico City
When we visited Mexico City, we found that a lot surprised us! We also share the big mistakes we made in CDMX.
►Subscribe to our channel:
Mexico City is full of shocks and surprises! In the massive CDMX metropolis of more than 20 million people, the number of things that are going to surprise you is off the charts, typical culture shocks aside!
This city is one of the museum capitals of the world - you can barely throw a rock without hitting one! From the highly acclaimed Anthropology Museum, to Chapultepec Castle, to the free-of-charge Museo Soumaya, there are endless things to for the museum lovers of the world.
Not a museum lover? No problem. Go check out the massive Chapultepec Park, go skiing just outside of the city, eat at some of the best restaurants in the world, and pig out on cheap (but awesome) street food! Visit 6 flags for a day of thrills or go check out the Historic Center.
That leads us into something else that totally shocked us about Mexico City, the massive variety between the old and the new. You can visit Aztec ruins that are many hundreds of years old or you can head to Santa Fe and visit La Mexicana Park while you check out the beautiful skyline (as we do in this video). The skyscrapers don’t end in Santa Fe, though. They are spread out throughout the entire city - Mexico City is full of thriving business.
Watch out, though! It’s not all good. Something else that was a shock to us is the massive number of thieves (specifically pickpockets.) The city has a lot of them and you really have to watch your stuff and watch your back. If you’re planning on traveling around using the subway, you better have your belongings secure!
Among quite a few other things that shocked us about CDMX, we also take the time to recap our trip and talk about the mistakes we made during our Mexico City trip. Where to stay, transportation, food, and prices, we have it all covered here in this video!
Check out our Mexico City playlist to see all of our CDMX videos:

Sao Paulo Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
São Paulo, one of the world’s most populated cities, is Brazil’s exciting hub of business, culture, creativity and hospitality.
‘Sampa’ was founded in 1554, at the spot of the historic Pátio do Colégio. Once home to the region’s first main Catholic Church, the central Praça da Sé now houses the towering Metropolitan Cathedral.
Two beautiful historic buildings have been transformed into Cultural Centers: The Banco do Brazil and the Júlio Prestes Train Station. While the city’s most esteemed museums are the São Paulo Museum of Art, on the famous Avenida Paulista, and the Pinacoteca do Estado.
The Viaduto Santa Ifigenia, an art nouveau bridge, leads pedestrians to the ornate Municipal Theatre, with its impressive Sala São Paulo concert hall.
Don’t miss Ibirapuera Park, which is home to the modern Ibirapuera Auditorium, the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art and the Afro Brazil Museum.
Meet Brazil’s soccer heroes through the interactive exhibits of the Football Museum in Pacaembu Stadium. Nearby, Vila Madalena is a bohemian district with quirky stores, funky cafés and colorful street art.
In the Mercado Municipal, tourists gather to taste the local cuisine while the Paulistanos bargain for fresh produce and gourmet food.
Explore all of São Paulo’s neighborhoods and bustling cultural hubs to discover that this city is not only the engine behind Brazil’s economy, but also its cultural powerhouse.

Why Colombia as the next Travel Destination
sktarts team travels to colombia - movements recorded in Gopro Dji Drone and Nikon D7200
Sktarts founded in December 2017 are professional at photography and video creation. Colombia was our first big project, we travellet 6 colleagues through the country for weeks and recorded everything with Gopro, Dji Drone and Nikon D7200 and that's what came out of it.
We landed in Medellin and experienced 3 wonderful days in Medellin with ATO Tours.
Medellín is a beautiful city, modern and yet true to its regional characteristics. It was founded in 1616 in the scenic Aburrá valley but remained small until the coffee boom. It later became the center of a textile industry, and today is a modern, vibrant city.
After we followed Cartagena and stayed there for 5 days.
Cartagena, a gorgeous fishing village on Colombia's Caribbean coast, has excellent beaches, a historic old town (that's entirely walkable) and beautiful colonial architecture. It's also one of the safest places in the country, so it's no wonder it's a popular port of call for cruise ships. Need a break from exploring the cobblestone streets? Stop at an outdoor cafe for excellent pastries and people-watching.
After Cartagena we were in the beautiful hostel Casa el en Agua in the middle of the sea.
Discovering unique places can change your trip.. Profoundly. We believe the Casa is such a place. We’re talking a solar-powered, eco-friendly backpackers hostel run by our cheerful, local crew. The hostel sits among the San Bernardo Islands, just two hours by boat from Cartagena. The Casa - a former holiday home owned by a Colombian family - is a 23-year old wooden house built on a concrete foundation under the sea water. Over time, coral formed on the foundations, much to our delight, as colorful sea life can now be viewed whilst you’re chilling in your hammock.
As you will be vacay-ing on a secluded, private island, you and your fellow travelers, determine the hostel vibe. It is you and your temporary family who decide whether to detox, unleash your inner yogi and enjoy the serene environment, or crank up the volume and get the drinks flowing. Whatever your choice may be, we dare to say we offer the best hangover cure in South America: a bed-to-ocean dive from the first floor deck into clear Caribbean waters. If that doesn’t cure things, your other option is to find yourself a hammock & enjoy a refreshing cocktail from our ‘Bar en el Agua’.
Then we went on to San Andres beautiful little island in the Caribbean. Most of the videos were spontaneously created, we had at the end over 3h film material and that's what came out.The coral island of San Andres is a diverse ecosystem of reefs, geysers, groves, and cays. Needless to say, it’s perfect for diving, snorkeling, and outdoor exploring. This paradise has multicoloured warm waters and 12 mangrove forests, and the beach cedars of Johnny Cay are like natural condos for beach birds. Keep an eye out for overlooked pirate treasure at Morgan’s Cave before chowing down on rondón, a signature Caribbean dish of fish, pork, conch, plantain and coconut milk.
Colombia is a very beautiful country and very diverse, Jungle, mountains, beautiful beaches, big cities like Medellin and Bogota. Fantastic and recommendable.
