On the coast north of Lima, between the Valleys Huara Pativilca and Fortaleza, a talented group of archaeologists, including Mario Advíncula, Jonathan Haas, Winifred Creamer, Álvaro Ruiz, Manuel Perales, Jesus Holguin, investigated more than 40 pre ceramic archaeological sites with monumental architecture, built around 3000 years b. C.
Caballete, El Castillo de Huaricanga, Porvenir, Pampa San José,Cerro Blanco, Shaura, are some of the amazing archaeological complexes.

¡Estamos convencidos de que el Perú nunca dejará de sorprendernos! A 341 kms de Lima, a 3554 msnm y a tan solo cinco horas en carro nos encontramos con el paraíso de las lagunas y cascadas: Las Reserva Paisajística Nor Yauyos. Lagunas turquesas, caídas de agua, sombra de luna, deliciosas truchas y un campamento frente al río hacen que un grupo de amigos la pasen bien si o si.

On our first stop in Patagonia we spent a good 2 weeks in Argentina to explore great hikes and Things to do in Bariloche in preparation for the upcoming adventures

Bariloche in Argentina is located at the northern end of the region Patagonia and serves as the perfect gateway to start our adventure. Surrounded by lakes and situated close to the Andes you can go for big variety of activities. While it is one of the largest ski ressorts in South America in winter it turns into a hikers paradise in summer.
Rather than hanging out in the city itself we used it as a base to drive around the 7 lakes, hike & camp to the Tronador and climbed our way up to Frey, Cerro Campanario and Catedral. With this we can give you a bigger picture of the area and you can easily use this video as a Bariloche Guide for your own trip!
This part of the trip was executed within 1,5 weeks by using the local buses and a well planned itinerary after we flew in from Buenos Aries - following I list all the places we visited & Things to do in Bariloche:

In the next episodes we will Hitchhike the Carretera Austral, trek through the most impressive mountain ranges, ice hike over the glaciers of the southern Patagonian Icefield and meet impressive characters along the way.
The Patagonian Expedition is a 95% self funded video documentary project following my trip in 2012/2013. Our aim is to show you the beauty of the rather unknown parts in Patagonia alongside with the famous spots.

Comiendo una de las Mejores Pizzas en Buenos Aires, Argentina
Continuamos nuestro viaje por Buenos Aires y hoy vamos en busca de una de las mejores pizzas en Buenos Aires!
Para nuestro segundo día en la ciudad, fuimos a desayunar a La Biela, un café que queda justo en frente del Cementerio de la Recoleta. Desayunamos un rico café con leche y medialunas dulces. La perfecta manera de comenzar el día.
Queríamos pasear un poco, pero como nos tocó un día de lluvia, de ahí nos subimos a un taxi, y fuimos a visitar El Ateneo Grand Splendid. Este es un teatro que ha sido transformado en libreria, y también ha sido votado una de las librerías mas bellas de todo el mundo.
Después de visitar El Ateneo, continuamos a pie hasta la pizzeria Banchero en busca de la mejor pizza en la ciudad. Este es un lugar que mucha gente nos había recomendado, y un lugar que mi papá conocía de su niñez.
Probamos varias pizzas como la muzzarella, jamón y morrón, anchoas y fugazetta. Como seguía lloviendo, regresamos al departamento a descansar un rato. Luego esa tarde, salimos a pasear. Regresamos al Cementerio de la Recoleta que contiene las tumbas de numerosas personalidades destacadas del país.
Y para terminar nuestro segundo día en la ciudad, esa noche nos preparamos otra super picada!

Patagonia (Spanish pronunciation: [pata'?onja]) is a sparsely populated region located at the southern end of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile. The region comprises the southern section of the Andes mountains as well as the deserts, pampas and grasslands east of this southern portion of the Andes. Patagonia has two coasts: western facing the Pacific Ocean and eastern facing the Atlantic Ocean.
Puyuhuapi is located in the Ventisquero Inlet, nearby Puyuhuapi Springs.
Coyhaique (Spanish pronunciation: [ko'jaike]), also spelled Coihaique in Patagonia, is the capital city of both the Coyhaique Province and the Aysén Region of Chile. Founded by settlers in 1929, it is a young city. Until the twentieth century, Chile showed little interest in exploiting the remote Aisén region. The Carretera Austral road opened in the 1980s.
Bordering Argentina, this pint-sized orchard town occupies the windy southern shore of Lago General Carrera. A sunny microclimate makes it a pleasant oasis on the steppe. It is linked to Chile by ferry or a roller-coaster road dotted with gold and silver mines. Locals traditionally earned their living from raising livestock and farming, but have since turned to mining in numbers. Rumor has it that wi-fi is soon coming to town.
We left Brazil and crossed Uruguay going on a nonsleep hitchhiking trip to Argentina. No money spent.
