Barracuda Reef, Drift Scuba Dive. Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Surrounded by 29 mooring buoys--the first markers to be installed in Broward County--Barracuda reef is an excellent spot for fish-watching. Located a half-mile out from the John U. Lloyd State Recreational Area, this reef lies in 35 feet of water. The site has a high profile reef ledge that rises 10 to 15 feet from the bottom. This reef offers a sight similar to that of reefs in the Florida Keys with a healthy concentration of staghorn, star, and brain corals. Fish life is plentiful and lobsters, crabs, and moray eels can be found underneath ledges that rise about four feet from the bottom. Boat traffic is heavy in the area and divers should exercise caution when exploring this reef.

Wrecks of Fort Lauderdale June 2014
June 2014, three wrecks off Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Deep dives on Dantor and Rebel which is are small freighters, and a shallower one (60-70') on Capt. Romero, an old barge. The latter one is seldom visited, but well worth it: lots of fish and coral. On American Dream Dive Charters. GoPro3 camera with red filter, mounted on SeaLife light frame.
My early attempt on editing my video clips, with the help of my 12 year old nephew Tristan. He picked the visual parts, I selected the music by Andreas Vollenweider from one of the albums I own.

Scuba Diving Disneyland at Kona Hawaii
Though the landscape is not very colourful, the tropical sea-life make up for it. There is not to much to see in these super clear waters, but at the right time of the year you can hear the magical sounds of passing whales and their calves communicating to each other. Listen out for them in this video.
Both this spot and Old Airport are typical pre-dives of the night Manta Ray dive, which I highly recommend.
