Ankogel Mallnitz and Mölltaler Gletscher skiing holiday
Skiing holiday in Austrian Alps. We stayed in a beautiful town of Mallnitz and we skied in Ankogel and Mölltaler Gletscher skiing resorts.

For the New Years Eve, we've been traveling to one of the most magical winter places, Austria, Mallnitz. A real winter wonderland! This was an incredible winter trip and our first time in Austria, at the same time! We flew from London to Munich and after a short stay in Munich, we took the train to Mallnitz, Austria. The Alps seen from the train were so magical! It makes you feel like you are in a fairytale! Wait until the end of the video and you will see it by yourself!
We were staying there together with around 50 friends of ours at the Bichlhof Hotel so, as you can imagine, we've got the best start of the new year we could ever ask for! I still remember all the perfect mountain landscapes, the beautiful snow, and those magical 12 o'clock fireworks... All was so dreamy and we are seriously considering to go back for the next year!
Even if we are not brave enough to ski on those incredible slopes from Mallnitz yet, I left some of my friends to capture some incredible Austrian views from above so you will be able to see the beauty of this place. But my goal for this year is to learn to ski better, so I'll be able to film these places from Mallnitz by myself... hopefully!
The ski resorts around Mallnitz form a real winter wonderland that will amaze any passionate skier!
1. We've been to the incredible Mölltaler Glacier Mallnitz and those 71 slopes, in every difficulty, bring variety to this place. The Gletscherexpress, the longest underground tunnel in the world, takes you in 8 minutes to the only glacier ski area in Carinthia. Snow in abundance, a magnificent mountain panorama and almost no waiting times, will also inspire you.
2. Another slope well known in Mallnitz is called Ankogel. This one leads to 2,631 m and into infinite fun on the slopes. Wide slopes above the timber line are inviting to carve, board or a free ride in the powder snow. Due to bad weather condition, we weren't able to see very well this one but it seems to be a great place to ski in Austria!
3. The ski resort Bad Kleinkirchheim - The Austrian resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim offers more than almost any other ski village in the Alps. The winter sports center in the Carinthian Nock Mountains combines its modern ski infrastructure in a unique way with the wellness offering of its thermal spas.
There is a huge variety of skiing options for all levels of snow-sure pistes is the main reason to choose Austria for your skiing holiday. Austria's Alps are blessed with a long and lavish snow season and the country is widely recognized as one of the world's best snow-sure skiing destinations. The snow on the ground is generally powdery and fluffy well into spring, packed powder prevails on the groomed runs, and deep powder off-piste.
This experience made us think more about trying to ski and we are planning to learn to ski next year, when maybe we will be back in Mallnitz!

Ankogel climb - Mallnitz
Nyár elején jártunk az Ankogelen. A normál úton haladva, egy könnyű 3000m feletti csúcsot lehet megjárni. Félúton a Hannoverhaus vendégszeretetét lehet élvezni estére de aki kellően nehéz mászást szeretne egy nap alatt is megjárhatja a csúcsot. Ide még visszajövünk.

A random day in Mallnitz/Ankogel with some friends
Mallnitz - Kärnten - Österreich 2017
Ich war in Mallnitz (Österreich) mit meiner Familie eine Woche lang unterwegs und habe euch ein paar Eindrücke dagelassen.
Es geht vom Ankogel (Berg) über die Greifvogelshow auf der Burg Landskron und dem Pyramidenkogel (Turm) bis hin zum Wörthersee und dem Harley Davidson Treffen!
Viel wandern war auch angesagt in der schönen Natur in Mallnitz - Kärnten!
Also einiges zu sehen gab's auf jeden Fall :)
