We are taking you to the wonderful seaside town of Antibes in the south of France. It's along the shores of Provence. This entire stroll through the village of Antibes only takes a couple of hours into this pedestrian zone of the Old Town of Antibes. Cap d'Antibes beach and Antibes Marina (Côte d’Azur 2019)
A walk around the cap d'Antibes with a few stops along the way to fly the drone, exploring more of the French Riviera. We had great view up the coast towards Nice and Juan-les-pins throughout the day, and a decent lunch on the beach before a bit more of a wander around the old town of Antibes.

ABOUT US
Hi, we’re Chris and Mandy, travel bloggers and creators from Australia. Since December 2015, we have been travelling and exploring the world full-time. We usually spend 1-2 months in each place we travel to and love really getting to know a place. One of our favourite ways to get to know a destination is through food, and we share all of our food guides here on Youtube and on our travel blogs. We love to pack light, travelling the past 3 years with carry-on only. On AlmostLanding.com, we share in-depth guides to help you plan the best trip, we often have free printable guides you can download or print out, we’ve created our own travel maps pinpointing our favourite picks for different places so you can easily find everything and make travel planning easy. We have another travel blog all on Bali, AlmostLanding-Bali.com, we’ve spent so much time in Bali and share everything we know and love about this beautiful island. We’ve fallen in love with travel and blogging, and we wanted to create a space for other travel lovers and life dreamers. Thanks for being a part of Almost Landing, and make sure to say hi :)
This is the public beach of Antibes, France - Plage de la Salis
Plage de la Salis is a popular local beach separated by the Antibes Yacht Club from Ponteil beach just to the east. It's a long stretch of beach also composed of fine, white sand and curving around a protected bay.
Unlike Ponteil, there's a sidewalk and not a tree-lined promenade running along the beach but there's no traffic noise, just the sound of wavelets lapping the shore. This is a free, public beach with lifeguards on duty from mid-June to mid-September. You can see lots of beautiful french girls on the beach with their perfect bodies. Well, I guess it is the same on every beach in Cote d'azur.
ROCKY BEACH Second Path Tour (VLOG), Cap d'Antibes Antibes Cote d'Azur French Riviera
Second part of walk around Cap d'Antibes, beautiful rocky beaches, breath taking views and blankets of sea fig flowers. Best place to visit for free in French Riviera and spend your day reconnecting with nature.
Cannes on the French Riviera
We are exploring more of the beautiful French Riviera traveling by train from Nice to Cannes. Touring strategies can be summed up in a nutshell: walk from the train station to the waterfront, stroll along the shore to the Old Town, eat and shop, then meander back to the station through the pedestrian area. It’s an easy four-block walk from the Cannes train station to the shore where you can have a peek at the high life exemplified in the extraordinary hotel palaces lining the grand Boulevard de la Croisette. Cannes is one of the most famous of the towns along the French Riviera, especially noted because of the International Film Festival held here every year in the month of May. The sidewalks all around the festival hall are dimpled with many impressions from the big stars – their handprints and footprints and signatures. They flock here during the festival to show off and promote their latest flicks. The main boulevard of Cannes is the Croisette, which is like any luxury Boulevard in Europe – it’s lined with the big fancy hotels. And there's the beach on one side and a row of luxury shops -- you’ve got Louis Vuittin, and Valentino, Chanel and so on, and those top hotels. So this is one of the great neighborhoods of the city that you just absolutely must come and spend some time at.
We continue walking a few more blocks on this beautiful Rue d'Antibes. It's just a great street and yet you might easily miss it in your visit to Cannes because it's not that waterfront boulevard with the great hotels and the Film Festival Hall, and it's far from the old town about a mile down the other side – so be sure to look for this street because you'll enjoy taking a stroll here. By this point you have seen all the main highlights of Cannes except for the Old Town which is up on the hill. Now we are entering the old town of Cannes. It's just up on this hill at the end of the road, overlooking the boat harbor. You don't want to miss this, so when you are in Cannes be sure to walk down to the end of town, it just takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk down here, and have a little stroll through old Cannes. The Old Town’s pedestrian zone gently rises via staircases and the upward sloping pathway of Rue Saint-Antoine to the top of the small hill, and that provides a great view looking back across the boat harbor to the beaches, elegant hotels, marina and Festival Hall down below.

Take a stroll through Cannes as you learn about its history. Accompanied by your guide, admire the old town of La Sequet and the famous Boulevard of La Croisette. You'll begin with a walk to the old part of the city built on the site of the former Canois Castrum, a Roman town dominated by a castle, on the slopes of Mont Chevalier. As you take Rue Perissol, the road ascends to Place de La Castre, surrounded by a defensive wall and dominated by the 16th-17th century Provencal Gothic style church, Notre Dame de L'Experance. The old bell tower leads you to a long tree lined terrace, offering a fine view of the town, harbor and Ile Ste. Marguerite.
Continue on Rue Meynardier, formerly the main street linking the new town with Le Suquet. It is lined with a variety of shops and some fine 18th century doorways. Pass by the old covered market on your way to the famous Rue d'Antibes, the main shopping street. As you return to the maritime terminal along the famous Boulevard de La Croisette, see where locals stroll in the winter, and how the elegant promenade is bordered by palm trees and gardens overlooking a fine sandy beach. Luxury hotels and elegant shops line the front and side streets along with galleries, antique shops, cinemas and night clubs. At the top end of La Croisette, east of the port, is the new Festival and Conference center; the last stop before heading back to your ship.
Note: Tour participation is limited. This tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. There are approximately 4 miles of walking over flat, uphill and cobblestoned terrain, with 25 steps to negotiate.

Beautiful Antibes. Riviera Tours for Women - September. Discover the Côte d'Azur. 10 days.
Gorgeous Antibes is such a beautiful and diverse little town. Bustling markets, delightful harbour, and prettily-paved streets are clear drawcards to our tourists, like *ourselves*. But there are still quiet places…
Enjoy views to the snow-capped mountains as late as June, if you’re lucky, whilst enjoying perfect Mediterranean weather.
My advice? As always, go early. Or late. Across the peninsula there’s rockin’ Juan les Pins, a completely different scene. Beachy. Cool.
Bonjour, je m'appelle Louise X
