Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

Krabi best Thai cooking school
We decided to have a fun night learning how to cook Thai! We were picked up from our hotel by one of the owners/teachers and he was a blast! He was hilarious and we couldn't stop laughing from his funny laugh!
He was very full of life and made the evening fun and enjoyable while learning. My 8 year old daughter, 12 and 14 year old sisters had a blast and we all got certificates at the end which made the girls very proud! We learned how to make curry paste from scratch as well as 8 other dishes!

Ao Nang Beach & Food Tour | Hidden Authentic Thai Food Restaurant | Non-Touristy Krabi, Thailand
Ao Nang in the Krabi province of Thailand is arguably one of the best beach destinations in all of Thailand and maybe South-East Asia. Tourists flock to the area to visit its plentiful islands that are overlooked with Karst formations. As you can imagine the small town has become extremely touristy as a result. Don't fret though, there are still lots of places to visit in the town!
In this vlog, we walk to down the main street of Ao Nang, watch the sunset at the beach and head to one of the best restaurants we ate at during our time in Thailand. Located off the main drag of tourist restaurants, Family Thailand & Seafood restaurant is a hidden gem of mouth-watering authentic Thai food. It's not to be missed! The open-air restaurant almost resembles a street food shop. Everything is homemade and created with love by the family that owns the restaurant. We actually ate at the restaurant twice we loved it so much. After our meal, head to a street food shop to try roll ice cream. If you like ice cream this is definitely worth trying and a unique experience to watch.

Best restaurant & accommodation in Krabi, Thailand - The Frog and Catfish. 15 minutes from Ao Nang
The best restaurant & accommodation I have found in the Ao Nang and Krabi Thailand area (15 minutes from Ao Nang, Krabi Town and Klong Muang), actually it's the best restaurant I have ever found, anywhere. Their reviews on TripAdvisor tell a similar story.
The food is absolutely delicious, some say it's the best restaurant in Krabi, and I would agree with them. The prices are great, the staff are awesome and the restaurant has to be seen to be believed. The gardens are amazing and you can even swim there. It is a true slice of Paradise!
And it's a great wedding or honeymoon venue.
There are plenty of choices on the menu - authentic Thai food and Western foods are both available. The chef, Bua, is so passionate about her work, everything I have tried from the menu is absolutely superb! All of their staff go above and beyond to ensure their customers have an amazing experience.
They do luxury accommodation cheap as well, the best I have found in Krabi. They can organise tours as well - kayaking, elephant treks, Island hopping and Thai cooking classes are all available. But the place has everything you could want and is so relaxing and beautiful that you may not want to leave. It's about 15 minutes out of Ao Nang in Din Daeng Noi (not far from Ban Nong Thale/Ban Khao Klom), but it is so worth the trip.
Their website is frogandcatfishkrabi.com
If you are looking for an amazing experience with a personal touch go and see Bua and Gary at the Frog and Catfish ... tell them Darren from Australia sent you! Visiting The Frog and Catfish Restaurant is definitely one of the best things to do in Krabi Thailand!

Krabi Town Night Market | Best Thai Street Food | Things to Do Near Ao Nang | Thailand Travel Guide
We visit the popular Krabi Town Night Market that serves up some amazing Thai Street Food. Located in the south of Thailand, Krabi is a hub for many tourists arriving at its airport to start their beach holiday in beautiful surroundings. We stayed in Ao Nang and hired a taxi to take us to the night market for a change in scenery. The ride took approximately 30 minutes from the main strip of Ao Nang. The market was not only lively, but the food was some of the best street food we have tried in Thailand. We feasted on fried quail egg, Vegetable Pad Thai, Spicy Mushroom Curry, Glass Noodles and Thai chicken satays. The night market also sells clothing, handmade jewelry, and other little trinkets. There is also live music and if you get really adventurous you can take part in Karaoke night. For the kids, there 's balloons and a trampoline area to get out their extra energy after feasting on the amazing Thai Food.
