Aquacolors Poreč is a huge water park in the Istria region of Croatia and one of the largest water parks in the country, along with Istralandia which is located just a few miles away. The park is home to a lot of colorful slides made by Polin.

Aquacolors Poreč - Looping Rocket | Trapdoor Waterslide POV
This is the Looping Rocket water slide at Aquacolors Poreč, Istria, Croatia. The Looping Rockets are two high-speed body slides with a drop start. Guests enter the launch capsule, the operator is closing the door and after a few seconds, the floor will drop underneath the guests' feet. The drop is followed by a fast track with high g-forces and colorful daylight effects which are quite rare for this kind of slide. During our visit, only one of the Looping Rockets was operational.

Die Wasserrutsche Looping Rocket im Aquacolors Poreč in Istrien, Kroatien. Die Looping Rockets sind zwei Turborutschen mit Raketenstart: Die Gäste steigen in die Startkabine ein, die Tür wird geschlossen und nach wenigen Sekunden öffnet sich die Falltür unter den Füßen der Gäste. Nach dem steilen Drop geht es durch eine rasante Strecke mit hohen G-Kräften und - für diesen Rutschentyp ungewöhnlich - mit bunten Daylight-Effekten. Bei unserem Besuch war nur eine der beiden Looping Rockets in Betrieb.

Der Aquapark Istralandia wurde im Jahr 2014 als erster Wasserpark Kroatiens eröffnet und liegt in Nova Vas in der Region Istrien. Der Park bietet eine große und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Rutschen von Polin, darunter unter anderem eine ungewöhnlich lange Trichterrutsche, eine sehr intensive Turborutsche mit Fallstart und die Freefall, die höchste Rutsche des Landes.

Aquacolors Poreč - Magicone | Huge Funnel Waterslide POV
This is the Magicone water slide at Aquacolors Poreč, Istria, Croatia. The giant four-person raft slide made by Polin features a huge funnel where riders swing from left to right. Unlike other funnel slides, especially the ProSlide Tornado, the shape of the funnel is rather flat and there is a lot of water in the lower part of the funnel, slowing down the rafts significantly.

Die Wasserrutsche Magicone im Aquacolors Poreč in Istrien, Kroatien. Die große Reifenrutsche von Polin für bis zu vier Personen bietet als Herzstück einen riesigen Trichter, in dem man mehrmals von links nach rechts schaukelt. Im Vergleich zu vergleichbaren Funnel-Rutschen, insbesondere dem ProSlide Tornado, ist die Anlage jedoch recht langsam - im unteren Bereich des leicht abgeflachten Trichters sammelt sich sich viel Wasser, welches den Reifen relativ schnell abbremst.

Since 16.05.2015 the new large water park Aqua Colors Porec has finally opened its doors. The spectacular park can accommodate about 5,000 visitors and is situated in the region of Istria, near the town of Porec.
Approximately 100,000 m² measures the entire area of the water park on the visitors numerous attractions, rest areas, and much more are offered. The twelve water slides of the park promises plenty of excitement, fun for young and old visitors. There are slides specifically for children, for families and also water slides for thrill seekers.
