Bikers Asal Bali, Akan Jadi Bikers Tertua Pertama di Indonesia yang Tour Asia
Apa yang kamu bayangkan jika bersepeda motor keliling Asia, Tribunners?
Mengasyikkan bukan?

Popular Backpacking Route in Indonesia
Jakarta
The Indonesian capital is a chaotic megacity home to over 10 million people with another 20 million living in surrounding towns and villages. It's not worth staying much more than a day or two unless you happen to be a lover of ridiculous amounts of traffic and polluted smelly streets. Starting your Indonesian adventure in Jakarta is more akin to being thrown into the middle of the Pacific Ocean than the deep end of a Swimming Pool but it does have its charms.
As the capital there are many important museums where you can educate yourself on Indonesian history and culture. Unlike other destinations on the route, the city attracts few tourists which means you are likely to be something of a fascination to locals. It also boasts probably the most raucous nightlife in the Islamic world with giant 24 hour night clubs packed with ecstasy-fuelled ravers. The best tactic is to accept the madness of the place and try to understand the day to day lives of local people who for the most part are extremely friendly and eager to engage with you.
Dieng Plateau
As your train or bus heads east from Jakarta you begin to get a better feel for the real Java. The island is home to 65% of Indonesia's 250 million population but is still dwarfed in size by the neighbouring islands of Sumatra and Borneo. However it is not too difficult to get away from the hot modern cities and the Dieng Plateau couldn't feel more different than the bustling capital. At 2,000 metres above sea level, the Plateau is much cooler and the scenery includes some mysterious lakes, hot springs as well as temples that offer insight into early Javanese religion and culture. Wonosobo is the main town on the Plateau and from there cheap trips can be organized or you can rent a motorbike and see it alone.
Yogyakarta
Jogja, as locals call it is in many ways the cultural capital of Java. A lively city in its own right with a thriving arts scene and a busy little district that caters for the hordes borobodur backpackingof travelers that come through these parts. The vast palace known as the Kraton Complex is home to the fabulously named Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono and is the main attraction in the town. The reasons why Jogja has become such a popular backpacker hub however lie an hour or so bus ride outside the city. The temples of Borobudur (right) and Prambanan are easily among the most spectacular in all of South East Asia.
For more see: Destination JOGJA
Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park
A popular stopping point on the lengthy trip from Yogyakarta to Bali. Java is an island full of highly active volcanoes and Mounts Bromo and Semeru are two of the most accessible. Both volcanoes constantly spew out steam and smoke with major eruptions not an uncommon occurrence. The surrounding landscape is spectacular and at times truly unworldly. There's plenty of budget accommodation available around the park and it's probably best to base yourself in a village such as Cemoro Lawang or Wonokitri. Camping is possible inside the park but it does get rather cold at night.
island hop- JAVA to BALI
From the national park head to Banyuwangi on the Eastern tip of Java. This port has ferries to Gilmanuk in Bali that run every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day. The ferry crossing is only about half an hour and will set you back just 6,000Rp. There is little to do in Gilmanuk so it'd be a good idea to get on a bus somewhere.
Bali
bali hindu cultureBali is a relatively small island and you can reach any point in the space of two or three hours, however you can easily end up spending weeks on the island. Most travellers base themselves in the South with Kuta Beach the most popular and liveliest choice. For many visitors to Indonesia, Bali is all they see and some of those don't even leave the beach resorts on the Southern tip of the island. While the beaches, surfing and parties are fantastic there is much more to Bali than this.
There are numerous laid back traditional fishing villages and sleepy beaches if the pace of life at Kuta gets too much. There are diving and snorkeling opportunities on Nusa Lembongan, a beautiful small island just off the coast of Bali. Although most foreigners think of Bali as a beach destination, the central region is really the cultural heartland and where most of the action happens for locals. Unlike other parts of the country, Bali is dominated by Hindu culture and customs and there are many fascinating markets, arts and crafts shops, temples and museums to visit in the mountainous towns and villages.

KHMER TRAVELER-INDONESIA TRIP 2016
Trip in INDONESIA for two weeks, JAVA BALI LOMBOK, October 2016.
Day 1 - We spent full day on 3 flights and 2 local buses from 8:20am to 11:50pm. The last stop is Probolinggo, East of Java.
Day 2 - Take shared minivan with 15 people. But after waited for few hours we got only 10 people. So we need to spend money more than usual. We left from Probolinggo at 12:10pm to Homestay in Cemorolawang at 1:40pm. Finally we did reach the place we have planned but unfortunately Bromo mount has been blocked for two weeks already after there was ash very thick, plus the weather is not so good. So what we can do just walk around and explore this amazing town into the cloud.
Day 3 - We leave from the village around 3am and take about 1H hike up to the viewpoint. It was around 10 celsius, so freaking cold when you need to hike up under the rain.
Day 4 - Four hours and half by train from Probolinggo to Banyuwangi. Another volcano to hike up. But we need a day to break before starting trekking. It has been few days without sun light in Cemorolawang. Ketapang is a good place in east of java where to relax, feel the sea and get sunrise on you body and face.
Day 5 - Get up at 12 midnight to take a jeep up to Ijen mountain. 1:30am we started hike up with gas mask and light which provided by local guide. We took one hour and half by walking for 3km up to the mountain. At 3am we reached the crater and we go down to see blue fire. But when we were on the way to mountain there is strong sulfur smoke. My cloth is full of sulfur smell. But to reach the place i have planned, i spent 30mns to go down to see blue flame or blue fire. It is like going to the hell with difficult way, dark, sulfur smoke, and cold. It was a hard experience i have made. 4am we go back to the top to wait for sunrise but unfortunately it was very cloudy, so we can not see clearly. When the sun rise up you can see clearly the acid lake which is light blue color and it is huge. I did not even know when i go down that i was about to reach the lake. It is dangerous if the water get into your eyes. This is the second volcano in Java i did visit and it is more difficult than Bromo mountain.
Day 6 - The day before arriving Ubud, we did take ferry, public bus and taxi for 5 hours. Spending four days three nights here to explore their culture and nature are not enough. This is our second day in Ubud town of Bali island.
Day 7 - It was a riding day to explore balinese people, their culture and nature. Whenever we entree to the temple, we need to wear Sarong which you can buy or rent or borrow at the entrance counter. Ubud is a touristic place that you should not miss it.
Day 8 - First day in Kuta, a touristic place in Denpasar. It is all about beach, sea and sky.
Day 9 - It was a riding day from Kuta to Southern of Bali. If you like surfing, diving, beach you better go there.
Day 10 - A half day in Bali a half day in Lombok. The day before hike up to Rinjani mountain.
Day 11 - We did start hiking from Senaru village to Rinjani mountain at 7:10am to 3:30pm. It did take around 8 hours to reach senaru crater rim on altitude 2641m. It was very challenging for us to do this because it is our first time ever. It was the best experience we made and for the last volcano in this trip. There are many groups on that day because it was sunny, the weather is quite good. Our group has ten people, they are tourists from different countries plus five local people. They are a guide and porters. You would see many local people who carry stuffs which are foods, snacks, water, tents, etc; on the way you go up. Every one hour we had to stop at kiosk for a break at each POS. Actually it takes 7 hours to reach the crater rim but we got a big group so some people cannot make it on time. Everybody come here are very passionated of hiking mountain, thats why we would never seen anybody quit it. Unless there is an accident.
You would never believe in yourself until you set a goal and you can make it successfully. It is not easy at all, each steps you make are dangerous. One step is right one step is wrong! Just follow their footprints and go, don't forget to bring hiking stick and warm jacket.

Special thank you to Made for driving us around!
Bali is an amazing place to eat - there are so many incredible dishes, and the unique Balinese culture paired with the food is what makes it so special. In this Indonesian street food tour of Bali, I’m taking you to 6 street food stalls / restaurants in a row, for serious food lovers!
Warung Nasi Bali Men Weti - Some consider this legendary stall, right along the ocean to be the best Balinese local street food spot in Denpasar, Bali, and after eating it, there’s absolutely no room for argument. The plate of food you’ll be served is nothing short of spectacular, full of Balinese flavor.
Price - 25,000 IDR ($1.83) per plate
Warung Mak Beng - Known for their fried fish set, Warung Mak Beng is another legendary Balinese restaurant. Their fish was amazing, both the fish head soup and the fried fish, and not forgetting their amazing sambal. Another must eat when you’re in Bali.
Price - 45,000 IDR ($3.29) per set
Sate Plecing Arjuna - This is a place you come to eat sate plecing, a type of Indonesian street food sate that’s covered in a shrimp paste chili sambal. They were incredibly delicious as well, especially the samel.
Total price - 68,000 IDR ($4.98)
Sate Babi Bawah Pohon - In Bali, pork is very common, and this is probably one of the most well known Indonesian street food stalls in all of Bali. For me the pork sate was a little on the sweet side, however it was still pretty tasty.
Price - 25,000 IDR ($1.83)
Babi Guling Pak Dobiel - When it comes to Balinese food, there’s nothing more famous to try than babi guling, Balinese style roast pig served with all the side dishes. It’s spectacular combination and you’ll find dozens of restaurants serving babi guling. In this Balinese food tour I went to Babi Guling Pak Dobiel, and it’s the best plate of babi guling I had in Bali.
Total price - 100,000 IDR ($7.32) for 2
Warung Kintamani - Ubud - Finally, to finish off this Balinese food tour, we headed back to Ubud and Made, took me to eat mujair nyatnyat, tilapia in a curry sauce. It was awesome delicious, a perfect way to end this Indonesian street food tour of Bali.
Total price - 105,000 IDR ($7.68) for 3

Bali Top Things To Do | Bali Travel Tips | Bali with Kids
In this video, I share with you top 10 things to do in Bali.
By the way, this video is a part of our Bali series. Do check out my video on Must-know tips for Bali.
Here are the tips:
1. Rice Terraces - Bali is famous for its beautiful and green rice terraces. The further you walk in, the fewer crowds you will find. It’s a bit of a trek though as one has to climb up and down rough paths.
2. Balinese Temples. There are so many beautiful temples in Bali. They have an amazing architecture and all temples have something unique about them. Most temples have an entrance fee. Some of the temples that we visited:
a) Tanah Lot Temple. This is one of the most famous temples in Bali. It is built on a rock at the seaside and looks beautiful from far away. This temple is most famous for it’s view at sunset.
b) Goa Gajah Temple. It is an ancient temple built in the 9th century. This temple is built inside a cave and the mouth of this cave is beautifully carved on stone. There isn’t much inside the cave to see though.
c) Taman Ayun Temple - This is a huge temple. It has a grand entrance and you need to cross a small footbridge to reach the courtyard. The most beautiful part of this temple are the many Meru towers inside the complex.
3. Waterfalls. There are so many all across in Bali. Tegenungan waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls. It is quite beautiful, and the way that leads to the waterfall is all lush green and serene.
4. Watch a Traditional Balinese Dance - There are many kinds of Traditional balinese dance performances all across Bali. Most of these dances are very colorful and expressive. The dance that we watched was called Kecak Dance based on Ramayana.
5. Ridge Walk - It is a hiking trail that leads to a scenic pathway on top of a hill. It’s a light walk and offers amazing views of lush grass around and also hills and mountains in the distance. Honestly, I got bored, but my parents liked it.
6. View of Mount Batur - Mount Batur is an active volcano in Bali. It is possible to hike to the top of the volcano, but we preferred watching it from afar. You can have a hearty meal in one of the open-air restaurants that face the volcano. The views of Mount Batur and the valley underneath are breathtaking.
7. Coffee Plantation - Going to a coffee plantation is an experience in itself. You get to taste so many different varieties of coffees and teas. Normally, entry is free, but you can buy coffee or tea from the sales outlet there.
8. Beaches - There are many beach towns in Bali. The most popular one’s are Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa dua etc. A trip to Bali is incomplete without some water fun, do plan sometime on the beach. Most beaches are nice, but be prepared for the crowds.
9. Ubud Market: Ubud market is one of the best places to shop in Bali. It's one of the best places to shop as you get most variety and better pricing as compared to other places in Bali. Make sure you bargain and try to get the best deal.
10. Bali Swing: Bali swings are great for adrenaline junkies. Also, they are great for insta photos! These swings are usually set up on top of rice terraces and are really long, say 15 to 28 meters. Even if you are not interested in the swing, it’s a good option to go inside and checkout the area, as the rice terraces here are beautiful.
Bonus Tip-Insta spots. You can find so many cute little photo spots everywhere in Bali. Most of them are paid, but you can easily find some free ones as well. The spots you see in our video are at Tegenungan waterfall and they were all free!

SUBSCRIBE -
This is the first video of the Bali series. I travelled from Delhi to Bali with Malaysia Airlines. I enjoyed the in-flight entertainment, comfortable reclining seats and relished the vegetarian food. Although it would be better if the flagship carrier of Malaysia can offer more variety of food for vegetarians. After reaching Bali, the first target was to get the Visa on arrival. Bali offers free Visa-on-Arrival for Indian citizens.
