Denpasar, the Capital of Bali
Denpasar is the largest city and capital of the island of Bali, Indonesia. It is located in South Bali. Denpasar is a bustling, multi-cultural city and although it can seem a little intimidating the first time you visit, just do not believe those travel guides which say it has nothing to offer.
Denpasar is bristling with temples, palaces and museums and its occupants are outstandingly friendly. You will be off the beaten tourist track here, so bring lots of time for a chat with the locals and a decent map of town. You can see many of the main sights comfortably on foot. This is also a notable shopping city with options to please even the most jaded of world shoppers. Denpasar is the seat of government in Bali and is therefore home to the provincial governor's office as well as the administration of the Regency of Badung.
Denpasar is the main gateway to Bali and the city is also a hub for other cities in the Lesser Sunda Islands. Bali has various attractions. The white sandy beaches are well-known all over the island. The surfing beach is Serangan Island. Sanur beach has calmer waters and is excellent for sunbathing and kitesurfing. Ten minutes from the Airport lies the town of Kuta. Kuta is where most of the hotels, restaurants, malls, cafes, marketplaces, and spas that cater to tourists are located. In the Denpasar area, all kinds of Balinese handicrafts are represented in local shops. These include artwork, pottery, textiles, and silver. Batik cloth is sold all over Denpasar.
While arts and culture in the city of Denpasar largely synonymous with art and culture in general, although here there has been a mix of interaction with other cultures along with the arrival of tourists from all walks of life. But traditional values inspired by Hindu religious rituals still strong coloring of this city.

Bali LUXURY BEACH RESORT - Full Tour and Review of Sofitel Hotel in Bali, Indonesia!
Subscribe►
T-shirts►
NOTE: I did some hosting work for Accor Hotels at Sofitel, and they invited my wife and I to stay for a few extra nights. So I didn't pay for my stay, but I wasn't required in any way to make this video. I made it because I wanted to.
September 2017
Sofitel is one of the well known beach resorts in Nusa Dua, Bali. They hooked us up with a very nice room with direct access to the swimming pool - which is probably one of the coolest features of the hotel. The service was great, and I think the breakfast buffet was excellent. It's a laid back place to stay in Bali, so laid back and relaxing, that my wife and I barely even wanted to go anywhere when we were staying there. Sofitel in Bali is the type of resort where you can just stay the entire day, relaxing, and swimming and not go anywhere.
As for the beach, it's not the most amazing beach. The views are fantastic, but for actually beach swimming, it's not the best you'll see. Also another drawback I found is that Nusa Dua is kind of a secluded resort area in Bali. So in order to get our of the resort area you need to take a taxi, you can't just walk out and find street food.
Again, I didn't pay, but I searched and found that this room sometimes goes for around $400, however it could fluctuate quite a bit by season - and I was there in high season.
Thank you to Sofitel Nusa Dua Bali for hosting my family in Bali. We had an amazing stay.

TIDAK MENYESAL pakai BIS INI | ROADTRIP Bali - Jawa Tengah bersama O500Rnya PANDAWA 87, PART #1
Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.

[ Anti Mainstream PENUH KEJUTAN! ] Kuler Lawas Yang GANAS ! - Trip Report Jawa Indah
Halo Assalamualaikum Temen-Temen Ketemu Lagi Di Channel Syahrul Mu????.
Penasaran seperti apa? silahkan tonton hingga video berakhir yaaaa ????

Making Clothes in Bali
Bali is an excellent place to come to find inspiration as a designer. Thanks to its heritage of tailoring that comes from the traditional clothes worn during ceremonies, there are many opportunities to make clothes here.
Whether it's just a few shirts or a dress you want to make or you're interested to start your own clothing label, it's easy to do in Bali.
The first thing you'll need is to pick out your fabric. I like SAS Textile and the shops on Jalan Sulawasi in Denpasar for sourcing. After that, take your fabric to a local tailor. The best thing to do is bring a piece you want copied. Otherwise, if you're starting from a sketch or picture you'll need to find a proficient pattern maker.
This is a short video just showing one of my trips buying fabric and visiting my tailor, Ketut. I hope you enjoy!
If you want to buy any of the clothes featured in this video, I've made an Etsy shop and am offering free worldwide shipping:

SANUR BEACH BALI - FULL BEACH TOUR (Part 2)
Sanur is a coastal stretch of beach east of Denpasar in southeast Bali, about a 30-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which has grown into a little town in its own right. A 5.1 km area of Sanur's coastline, from Matahari Terbit Beach to Mertasari Beach, was reclaimed in 2008.
The waters of Sanur are protected by a long string of offshore reefs, creating large, warm shallow, safe lagoons that are perfectly clear and excellent for swimming, snorkeling and a whole array of water sports. Surfers will be pleased to know that the reefs around Sanur produce some of the best waves in the world in the right conditions although they can be very shallow at low tide. But there are more consistent waves beyond the reefs good for surfing.
Sanur's splendid paved beachfront cycle-path stretches some 5 km from Jalan Mertasari area in south Sanur, north to the main beach at Jalan Hangtuah. This makes for a lovely scenic bike ride, especially in the early morning. The more active could try one or more of the many watersports on offer at Sanur Beach. Try kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, surfing or paragliding.

BALI Instagram Tour (FULL with Stops) - KLOOK Review 2019
You can research and book your BALI Instagram Tour here:
Our day started at 5AM when we met our tour guides, Saka and Ariska, in our hotel lobby. We headed out to stop number one which was at Candidasa Beach in East Bali to catch the sunrise. We hopped out of the car with our cellphones and cameras, unaware that they even provided a camera to take pictures of our day!
Our second stop was the amazing Gate of Heaven in the hills of Mount Lempuyang. There were so many cars parked around the area that I was wondering if we could even get any pictures. The hike up to the temple was pretty steep (wear good shoes), so prepare for an uphill climb. Everyone was required to wear a sarong and women had to cover their shoulders. Marilou was wearing sleeveless so she covered her shoulders with a scarf. We had brought our own sarongs, but you can rent them there.
Our photographer got us a number for the queue of other tourists waiting for their pictures taken at the gate. While we waited for our turn, Ariska took photos of us at other points of interest within the temple. When our number got close, we talked about our poses (3) that we wanted to use (prepare your poses). Our number was called and it took about three or less minutes to get our shots.
Off to stop number three... the Tirta Gangga water palace. Upon entering our photographer handed us a few bags of fish food to feed the koi. What a beautiful place! Water fountains, huge koi fish ponds, and amazing landscaping. The perfect spot for a history lesson and photos! After about an hour or so we moved on to stop number four.
Tukad Cepung Waterfall. The hike to the canyon took about 15 minutes of climbing down many stairs and long walking paths. I highly suggest wearing water shoes (AMAZON: ) as it will make for easier navigation through the creek bed. Once we came upon the falls it was truly one of the places you see all over Instagram. The falls are dropping from what almost looks like a hole in the top of the cliff side. Canyon walls towering all around, and if you hit the spot during noon time the sunlight shining in to the waterfall is set for your perfect shots. There were many people, but all were for the most part respectful on taking turns to get your perfect shots. The hike back up was tiring but it's well worth the stop!
LUNCH! Lunch is NOT included with this trip, but the guides took us to an amazing restaurant (Waroeng D'Yoni) about 10 minutes from the falls. On average most of the selections were close to or just above 100,000 IDR / $7.20 USD. The most beautiful view you can have in the surroundings. Excellent cuisine, relaxing and great environment.
Stop five was a visit to Santi Coffee Plantation where a guide walked us around showing us different fruits, cocoas, herbs, and coffee plants. If you haven't heard of Luwak coffee, it is actually the world's most expensive coffee to buy. The Luwak (Civet cat) eats the best beans and then poops them out. The beans are collected, washed, roasted, and ground. After our guide showed us around, she sat us down to a complimentary sample of about a dozen coffees and teas that the plantation grows. You can order a cup of the Luwak coffee for 50,000 IDR and I did just that. Sitting in Bali, drinking the world's most expensive coffee for $3.55 while other places in the USA sell for about $45 or more a cup!
Our sixth and final stop was the Natural Rice Terraces in Tegalalang Village north of Ubud. Get your cameras ready for some epic sceneries! The hills are stepped with terrace after terrace. Marilou wanted to do the Bali swing over the terraces, so we bought her ticket for around 150,000 IDR and checked the queue of other tourists waiting their turn. We had about 30 or so minutes before her turn, so our photographer took us down the paths of the rice terrace to get more amazing shots! Marilou said that Bali swing was the highlight of this tour!
We then had about an hour and a half drive back to our hotel. We arrived at approximately 5:30PM, after a full day of place to place, photo after photo. Ariska had prepared a Google drive link that she put all of the hundreds of photos she took of us throughout the day. The only regret we had about the tour was not taking a selfie with our guides!
We wanted to spend so much more time at each location, but knew if we were going to see everything we had to kind of move at a fast pace. It was definitely worth it in the end!
We hope this guided tour of our day helped you on making a decision to book with KLOOK for the Bali Instagram Tour, and hopefully you land with our guides, Saka and Ariska!

WHAT TO EAT IN BALI - Best Indonesian Food and Warungs
Wondering what to eat in Bali during your holiday? Here are the absolute best Indonesian food and Warungs in Sanur, Bali. We tried the famous Babi Guling dish and got into some delicious Indonesian street food at the Bali night market. Let us know which of these 5 Indonesian foods are your favorite down in the comments below!
First up was trying traditional Bali coffee and a popular health tonic at a local warung in Sanur. Bali coffee is unlike anything I’ve ever had before as they make the coffee with the grounds still in the mug! I liked how strong and flavorful the “kopi tubruk” was and also really enjoyed “Kunyit Asam” which is a turmeric and lime drink that is lightly sweetened.
Next we get into the good stuff. If you ask anyone what the best food in Bali is they will likely say Babi Guling. Babi Guling is a whole roast suckling pig similar to the filipino dish Lechon. We visited one of the best warungs in Bali called Warung Babi Guling Sanur to try the infamous dish. The plate filled with pork, rice, sambal matah, crispy skin, sate and peanuts was amazing and so spicy! I would highly recommend anyone try Babi Guling if you are coming to Bali, especially because pork is not widely eaten anywhere else in the Indonesian food scene because it is a predominately muslim country.
I tried a fish head soup at another one of the best warungs in Bali and it is also one of the oldest still in operation. Warung Mak Beng in Sanur Bali is a popular soup spot right near Sanur Beach serving up fish head soup, rice, and fried mackerel all for only $45K Indonesian Rupiah.
As the sun started to set, we headed to the Bali night market in Sanur to try two final dishes: Jaje Bali and Nasi Campur. Nasi Campur is one of the most famous items in the Balinese street food world and regarded by most as the best Indonesian food. It consists of mixed rice with protein and vegetables which was excellent and easily ranked in my Top 5 food in Indonesia list. Jaje Bali was an unexpected sweet surprise and should definitely make your Bali food guide list. It’s a lesser known Bali dessert that consists of different starches rolled in coconut and drizzled with honey. The dessert isn’t too sweet and had just the right amount of flavor! It was great.
If you’re looking for the best Indonesian food and Warungs in Sanur Bali then this should be a great starting list for you. The food in Indonesia is quite spicy so make sure you ask for “little spicy” if you are sensitive to spice and avoid getting what they call Bali Belly. The food in Bali is diverse, delicious, and affordable if you eat at local restaurants and warungs. We hope you liked this taste of Indonesia street food and classic Bali food dishes. Let us know which one of these is your favorite and make sure you check out our food vlog playlist to see more mouth watering classics in different countries!

ROADTRIP JALAN KUTA,LEGIAN,SEMINYAK, PETITENGET
ROADTRIP SUASANA JALAN KUTA LEGIAN SEMINYAK PETITENGET BALI.
LEGIAN
Legian Road or Jalan Legian is the main street that runs north-south from Kuta to Seminyak on the island of Bali in Indonesia. Legian Road contains a variety of shops, bars, hotels and dance clubs. Its proximity to the beach and its prominent nightlife make it host to thousands of tourists. This street that connects Seminyak with Kuta isn't just a venue for pulsating nightlife. It's also an excellent spot for some retail therapy, with its collection of jewelry and clothing shops.
KUTA
Kuta is a beach and resort area in the south of the island of Bali, Indonesia. One of Bali's first tourist developments, it's best known for its party-centric atmosphere and surfing in the Indian Ocean. Kuta's long, consistent waves make it a popular surf spot, particularly for beginners, with plenty of outfitters offering board rentals and surf lessons.
SEMINYAK
Seminyak is Bali’s most sophisticated and upscale beach resort area, where the top draws are its beautiful beaches and chilled-out vibes. Compared to the likes of Ubud, there’s not a huge number of things to see and do here, but there are some fun, family-friendly attractions to enjoy.
Despite humble beginnings, Seminyak is now a very modern part of Bali. Even so, among the glitz and glamour of the boutique shopping streets and fine-dining restaurants are some traditional touches like Petitenget Temple. If you’re looking for something to do between sunbathing sessions on some of Bali’s most beautiful beaches, you’ll find a good selection of distractions here.
Seminyak is part of the main west coast conurbation in South Bali and it can get very congested with traffic. There are two main routes in. From Kuta and Legian, Jalan Legian runs parallel with the beach and at its western limit, becomes Jalan Seminyak. If at all possible try to avoid this road though, and take instead the eastern bypass called Jalan Sunset. This is almost invariably the quicker route from Kuta and Legian into Seminyak, although it is actually further in distance.
PETITENGET
Petitenget is a chic cosmopolitan district blending in with neighbouring Seminyak seamlessly. The two neighbourhoods are very much alike, with streets lined with amazing restaurants, trendy coffee shops, blissful spas and edgy boutiques. Petitenget is home to some of the most popular beach clubs in Bali and the beach offers fabulous views during sunset.
Petitenget exudes a chic, sophisticated ambiance with a colourful Balinese twist. The line between Petitenget and Seminyak is hazy and it’s hard to say where one area ends and the other one begins. Petitenget centres around the winding main street of Jalan Petitenget, which snakes past endless restaurants, cafes and spas before leading down to Petitenget Temple and the beach of the same name. This popular area is home to some of the most celebrated restaurants and most iconic beach clubs in Bali and as a result, it has grown into one of the most sought-after locations on the island.
Offering easy beach access, endless restaurants, pampering spa treatments and world-class entertainment, it’s little wonder Petitenget has emerged as one of the most popular areas in Bali. Bustling Petitenget attracts travelers from all walks of life, though the scene tends to be more sophisticated than down south in Legian and Kuta.

Review of Harris Hotel in Seminyak Bali: Best Places To Stay In Bali
The Harris Hotel in Bali is a fantastic place to stay whether you're on a budget or not. For only $30 to $40US per night, I booked an amazing room that came with an excellent breakfast at the Harris Hotel in Seminyak, Bali and I was NOT disappointed!
The hotel is on a quiet street conveniently located next to a few restaurants, convenience stores, and laundry places. However if you want the action of hustle and bustle of shops and restaurants and night life, they are just a stone's throw away from the hotel. Go down one street and you're rewarded with cafes, souvenir shops, and anything you can think of. Walk down the same street as the hotel for about 10 minutes and you find the bigger notorious restaurant street which comes alive in the night!
Seminyak is a great place to spend time at if you tired of the crowded areas of Kuta. It is about a 20 minute drive from Kuta. While you lose the beach, you also will find this area a bit more quiet with less partying in the night. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the main restaurant street at no charge.
The staff us ultra-friendly and the rooms have tons of english TV channels. While the rooms are not huge, they are spacious enough, modern, and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and every room comes with a safe as well as a cooling box (kind of like a fridge but not so cold).
My favourite part was the breakfast! I can't believe it came included. Every morning was a new adventures of both western and Indonesian options. From fried rice to tasty croissants and local fruit, I felt like the cost of the breakfast would have been more than the room itself but somehow it was included!!!
If you don't know where to eat in the night and don't feel like walking anywhere, the hotel has a nice restaurant on premises, however there is also a nice selection of healthy restaurants just a few steps away including a good hamburger joint.
I really liked this hotel and don't hesitate to spend a few nights here as well. Here is their website:

Jimbaran Beach - Best Seafood in Bali 2019
Jimbaran beach, sunset and seafood Bali Indonesia.
Enjoy seafood and sunset at Jimbaran Beach Bali.
