Cruise Paxos Antipaxos Blue Caves
As no Greek holiday is complete without a sea cruise, we offer you the opportunity to visit three wonderful places. The island of Paxos and Antipaxos, which are situated, close to the southern coast of Corfu, and also the famous blue Caves of Paxos island. Departing from the harbour of Corfu, we have a unique view of the old town, among the two Venetian fortresses. Heading towards the south of Corfu we see the Kanoni peninsula and the palace of Mon Repos where Prince Phillip was born. We also see the tourist resorts Perama, Benitses, the village of Kavos and the cape of Asprokavos which is the southern point of Corfu island. As we approach the channel between Corfu and Paxos we see in front of us the green island of Paxos covered with olives and cyprus trees.
Legend has it that Paxos island was formed when Poseidon severed the tip of Corfu with one mighty blow of his trident and dragged it south to create an idyllicretreat for his love, Amphitrite! The Legend goes on ,with Poseidon´s marble Palace which was situated in one of the blue cave of the island named Ipapanti. During our passage, on the left hand side, we see the beautiful port of Laka. We continue sailing south along the west coast of Paxos island, enjoying the impressive rocky coast line and the unique white sandy beaches. Then the boat enters the breath taking sea caves, the clear blue waters will leave you speechless. We depart from the caves and soon we arrive at the small but perfectly formed island of Antipaxos, whose sandy blue water coves have been compared to the Caribbean´s. Here you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal waters of the Paradise beach. Our excursion returns once again to Paxos island. It's up-market reputation continues today as millionaire yachts sit at anchor alongside local fishing boats. After entering the narrow channel which leads us to the picturesque port of Gaios village, we see a breathtaking view of the two islands Panagia and Agios Nikolaos. We moor close to the center of Gaios village where you can easily walk through the wonderful narrow streets and enjoy your lunch at one of the traditional tavernas. During your trip you can enjoy the sun and help yourself to refreshments, which may purchased from the bar. We look forward to meeting you to one of our ships and are certain that your experience on the Ionian Sea will be an unforgettable one.

From Corfu to Paxos
What are people doing on holiday in Corfu Greece? They sleep a little and explore a lot. So we went to see the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. Departure was at 9:00 am from the port of Corfu Town.
Let's talk about time. Indeed, there were many hours spent at sea, but we enjoyed them very much.
Just after leaving the port we saw the old city of Corfu that is bounded by the two Venetian fortresses and the royal palace that currently houses the Asian Art Museum.
The legend says that the island of Paxos belonged to Corfu. Poseidon, the god of the sea, in love with the Nymph Amphitriti promised her that he would make a place for them only. Thus, hitting the trident formed the island of Paxos. Poseidon's legend goes on to say that he built his palace in Paxos in one of the Blue Caves.
The first stop was at Blue Caves. It was a nice experience where everyone took their cameras and took lots of pictures.
After a while, we reached Antipaxos. Here we stooped for 45 minutes to swim. What's so great about Antipaxos? The answer is the water and its vibrant and splendid colors.
We were a bit upset by the fact that the swim break was too short and we wanted to swim more in Antipaxos.
Once arrived to Paxos island, everybody got out and started looking for a good place to eat.
We wanted to visit the island, so we ventured on the narrow streets of Gaios. We found a tiny beach where the water was turquoise and warm, perfect for a second swim.
We got back in the port of Corfu Town at around 19:15
Was the trip worth it ? Absolutely!

The Boat Trip from Corfu Town to Paxos, Anti Paxos & the Blue Caves
Filmed in September, 2016, this Boat Trip, from Corfu Town's Port to the beautiful Islands Of Paxos, stopping over in the pretty harbour of Lakka for a couple of hours lunch, then on to Anti Paxos, with time for a cooling swim. On the voyage between the two islands, we were thrilled to enjoy the Blue Caves along the coast. Fun & games between the two boats that we travelled on (the other being a sister ship) were set up to entertain us on the homeward journey. A really great, full day out, which I'd love to do again! Enjoy this little film show, & the music that accompanies it.

By far the most relaxed way to enjoy Corfu's magnificent scenery is by boat. 'Nautilus' is a beautiful 12 metre motor yacht, designed and purpose-built for private coastal tours. Seating up to 25 guests Nautilus is also ideal for private parties looking for something unique and also offers an unrivalled range of mini-cruises, along Corfu's beautiful north-east coast, with or without a full barbeque meal. Blue Lagune
This is a boat trip with our typical greek “Kaiki-Boat”. The journey takes you from Messonghi River opposite to Greece Mainland. Throughout the smooth boat cruise you will enjoy the fantastic views of the coastline of Corfu Island as well as from Greece Mainland and often dolphins accompany our trip. Arriving on the Mainland our first stop will be at the Caves and the boat will enter the biggest cave with its strange rock formations. Carrying on we will arrive at so called “Blue Lagoon” – a little bay with turquoise waters and white sand, where you will have enough time for your swimming and snorkelling. Next stop will be at “Sivota”, a beautiful typical greek fishing village. On our way back to Corfu there will be two more stops at the sandbanks with its shallow waters for another swim and at a small mediterranean garden, where you can see all the different flowers, bushes and trees of Corfu Island.
Inclusive on this amazing boat trip you will have drinks and a cold buffet accompanied by greek music.

SAILING GREEK ISLANDS ????????Day 1 & 2 | Med Experience Greece Cruises
Sailing Greek Islands tour starts now! Leaving Corfu we jump on our yacht to start a cruise tour with Med Experience to...⬇ More Below ✈ Our 220 page guide on how to travel non-stop —
The Greek Islands can be tricky to reach without a yacht, even with a boat having sailing experience, or the ability to create your own cruise itinerary with managing which islands to visit.... BUT, Greece is such an astonishingly beautiful place that we knew we wanted to get our cruise on to check them out. Luckily Med Experienced launched a few new tours this year, we picked the Sail Greece itinerary and made our way to Corfu. Here's a link to the Med Experience trip we took, we loved it!
Greek Island cruises are pretty common, but often on much larger yachts or ships, that can't get into the small islands. More important to us, those bigger cruise ships wouldn't allow us to actually swim, jump off the boat or be more flexible with the cruise in general - flexibility is nice to have on any sailing with weather!
This is video 1, covering day 1 & 2 on our cruise, there will be 2 more vlogs across the other 6 days or so! Keep an eye on our Greece 2019
playlist for their release here:

Corfu guide, the island that is a magnet to cruise ships
Corfu sits at bottom of the Adriatic just off Albania in the Ionian Sea. Ideally placed to go east to Greece and Turkey or North to Croatia and Venice. It is the first of many Greek islands and a gateway to the Greek Island cruises, certainly used by Marella's Discovery 2 ship that sails from there between June and October with its Aegean Shores, Adriatic Explorer, Iconic Islands, Aegean Meze, and its Journey to Jamaica starts here as it repositions for the Caribbean.
