VERNISSAGE WILDLIFE, C-HOTEL&SPA CASSAGO BRIANZA (LECCO) ITALY
Lunedì 25 gennaio 2010 è stata inaugurata - presso C-ARTE in via Nazario Sauro 47 a Cassago Brianza (Lecco) - la mostra WILDLIFE, personale di MICHELE VITALONI con oltre venti opere tra sculture, altorilievi e quadri raffiguranti animali.
Levento ha preso il via alle ore 18 e si è protratto fino alle ore 24, con un suggestivo progetto scenografico in esterno, realizzato con enormi proiezioni murali e centinaia di micro candele.
Gli straordinari animali esposti, prevalentemente fusioni in bronzo e sculture lignee, vivono in parti diverse del nostro pianeta, sono tutti a grandezza naturale e collocati negli ambienti del design hotel, così versatili che per loccasione si sono trasformati in eccellenti sale espositive, dai toni neutri, alle linee rigorosamente pulite ed estremamente razionali; luoghi caratterizzati da materiali come la pietra del mare, il legno, lacqua che richiamano il legame forte con la natura.
Alcune opere inoltre sono esposte nel giardino della SPA progettato da Emilio Trabella; collocazione che intende sottolineare limportanza della conservazione e salvaguardia dellhabitat, sempre più spesso minacciato dalluomo.
La mostra si pone come primo evento artistico nel territorio a celebrazione del 2010 Anno Internazionale della Biodiversità indetto dallONU.
