T Girl Day Trippin...My Town, Santa Rosa, California
Here is a fun trip my then boyfriend Bobby and I took highlighting my city, Santa Rosa. Located in the heart on Sonoma wine country, about fifty miles North of San Francisco, it's a wonderful place with great people, and lots of history. The famed cartoonist Charles Schulz called this home for almost 50 years, and Luther Burbank, the plant wizard made some of his greatest plant variations right here. It is also the birthplace of Ripley's Believe it or Not creator, Robert Ripley. Enjoy!

31 DEAD IN NOR CAL WILDFIRES. SNOOPY CREATOR CHARLES SCHULZ HOUSE DESTROYED GFM
30 businesses in or near Santa Rosa have burned down or have burn damage.
The house that Peanuts and Snoopy creator Charles Shulz lived and raised his family as well of that of his son was destroyed.
31 are dead and this fire which was probably caused by downed power lines has no end in sight.

ABC NEWS :
SANTA ROSA — California’s deadly wildfires have claimed the home of ‘Peanuts’ creator Charles Schulz but his widow has escaped the flames.
Schulz’s son, Monte Schulz, says a fire on Monday torched the Santa Rosa homes of his stepmother, 78-year-old Jean Schulz, and his brother, Craig Schulz.
She’s staying with other relatives.
Schulz says he’s been told the home where his famous cartoonist father died and all the memorabilia in it are gone.
However, most of his father’s original artwork is in the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, and so far that’s escaped the flames.
Mail being delivered to homes that don't exist anymore.

Schulz Museum (Snoopy!), Cable Cars & Japan Centre! San Francisco Vlog #3!
Charles M Schulz (Peanuts / Snoopy) Museum at 2:36!
Hi everyone! This is our last SF Vlog! WE WENT TO THE PEANUTS MUSEUM! Just by chance we found out that the Charles M Schulz museum was in Santa Rosa - very close to where we were staying! We spent ages looking through all the snoopy cartoons and exhibits, and visiting the Warm Puppy Cafe! We also visited a Redwood Tree nature reserve, popped into Target for some quick shopping, drove over the Bay Bridge and ate out at Foreign Cinema and the Ferry Building. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed the series!
