Het kasteel van Cenevieres, gebouwd op de rotsen van het dorp in het Park van Causses van Quercy, het kasteel van Cenevieres, daterend uit de 13e tot de 16e eeuw, is een van de mooiste monumenten van de Renaissance in Quercy. Gerubriceerde historisch monument sinds 9 December 1957, de eigenaren verwelkomen u in het hart van het kasteel, gelegen op 6 km van Saint - Cirq Lapopie, met uitzicht op de vallei van de partij van de terrassen. De markies, serveert begeleiden naar zijn kasteel, zijn meubels, zijn herinneringen zijn familiegeschiedenis.

Chateau Cassaigne, Village Larressingle en Abdij Flaran France
Larressingle is een gemeente in het Franse departement Gers (regio Occitanie) en telt 200 inwoners (1999). De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Condom.
In de omgeving vindt men talrijke kastelen, kleine middeleeuwse ommuurde stadjes en bijzondere monumenten, want de Pelgrimsroutes in Frankrijk naar Santiago de Compostella lopen door de Gers en hebben interessante historische sporen achtergelaten.
De oppervlakte van Larressingle bedraagt 8,5 km², de bevolkingsdichtheid is 23,5 inwoners per km²

Flaran Abbey is a former Cistercian abbey located in Valence-sur-Baïse, in the département of Gers, France. The abbey was founded in 1151, as a daughter house of Escaladieu Abbey, at the confluence of the Auloue and Baïserivers, between the towns of Condom and Auch. The abbey was founded by Burgundian monks and today represents one of the best preserved abbeys in the south-west of France.
After its foundation in the 12th century, Flaran Abbey experienced rapid growth. In the middle of the 13th century, the abbey, jointly with Gerald V, Count of Armagnac, founded the fortified town of Valence-sur-Baïse[1] on a hillside on the other side of the Baïse river.
The abbey did not escape the vicissitudes of history, beginning with the Hundred Years' War, which ended with the Plantagenet county of Gascony being realigned with France. Engulfed by fire during the French Wars of Religion, the abbey was restored by subsequent abbots, but was suppressed and sold off during the French Revolution

Sur la rive gauche du Lot, bâti sur une haute falaise, Calvignac, de par sa position stratégique a toujours été une place fortement convoitée. Promontoire occupé dès l’époque gallo-romaine, Calvignac figure au VIIIème siècle dans la liste des possessions du dernier duc d’Aquitaine.

Le Château de Cénevières comme vous ne l’avez jamais vu !
Construit sur les falaises du village dans le Parc Naturel des Causses du Quercy, le château de Cénevières datant du XIII au XVIème siècle, est l'un des plus splendides monuments de la Renaissance en Quercy. Classé monument historique depuis le 9 décembre 1957, ses propriétaires vous accueillent au cœur du château, situé à 6 km de Saint-Cirq Lapopie, dominant la vallée du Lot depuis ses terrasses.

Le Château de Cénevières, dans le lot, enferme une bien étrange salle de bain ! Cette dernière eut pour fonction, à une époque plus éloignée, celle de cabinet d'Alchimie. Et l'Alchimiste qui y oeuvrait, y réalisa assurément le Grand Oeuvre. C'est du moins ce que Pascal Cazottes va tenter de démontrer en décortiquant les 12 tableaux que l'érudit peintre a laissé sur les murs, dans lesquels, à travers une certaine mythologie grecque, il décrivit toutes les étapes pour parvenir à cette Pierre Philosophale!
Mais malheureusement pour nous, ce jeu de piste codé fut altéré par les vapeurs d'eau de cette fameuse salle de bain !!
Toutefois, de nombreux indices sont encore bien présents, pour qui sait les déchiffrer et pour l'oeil avertit, de nombreux autres sont encore à découvrir, comme pourra le constater Pascal lors de cet entretien!!
