The Monastery of the Mother of God at the Spring or simply Zoödochos Pege is an Eastern Orthodox sanctuary in Istanbul, Turkey.The present church, built in 1835, bears the same dedication as the shrine erected in this place between the end of the fifth and the beginning of the sixth century.After several renovations, this building was destroyed in the first half of the fifteenth century by the Ottomans.The complex got its name from a nearby holy spring, reputed to have healing properties.

House of the Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus-Turkey
The House of the Virgin Mary is a Catholic and Muslim shrine located on Mt. Koressos in the vicinity of Ephesus, Turkey. The house was discovered in the 19th century by following the descriptions in the reported visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774–1824), a paralyzed German Roman Catholic nun and visionary, which were published as a book by Clemens Brentano after her death. One of Emmerich's accounts was a description of the house the Apostle John had built in Ephesus for Mary, the mother of Jesus, where she had lived to the end of her life.
Archaeologists who have examined the building believe most of the building dates from the 6th or 7th century but its foundations are much older and may well date from the 1st century AD, the time of Mary. The Catholic Church has never come out in favor or against the authenticity of the house, but nevertheless maintains a steady flow of pilgrims since its discovery.

Bulgarian St Stephen Church (Bulgarian: Църква „Свети Стефан“; Turkish: Sveti Stefan Kilisesi), also known as the Bulgarian Iron Church, is a Bulgarian Orthodox church in Balat, Istanbul, Turkey. It is famous for being made of prefabricated cast iron elements in the neo-Gothic style. The church belongs to the Bulgarian minority in the city.
Ayvansaray is a neighborhood in Istanbul, Turkey. It is part of the district of Fatih and part of the walled city. It lies between the southern shore of the Golden Horn, the Blachernae section of the Walls, and the neighborhoods of Balat and Edirnekapı. It corresponds to the old quarter of Blachernae (Vlachérnai in Greek). The name Ayvansaray is from Persian ایوانسرای (Iwan + Saray) and means Veranda Palace. This name hearkens back to the Palace of Alexios I Komnenos (now disappeared), which was part of the complex of Blachernae.[1]
Ayvansaray has a number of historic monuments, like the Palace of the Porphyrogenitus (Tekfur Palace), the mosque of Atik Mustafa Pasha (originally a medieval Byzantine church), and the Ayazma (holy spring) enclosed in the small church of St. Mary of Blachernae. It is a picturesque quarter.

Eyüp (pronounced [ˈejyp]) or Eyüpsultan is a municipality (belediye) and district of the city of İstanbul, Turkey. The district extends from the Golden Horn all the way to the shore of the Black Sea. Eyüp is also the name of a prominent neighborhood and former village in the district, located at the confluence of the Kâğıthane and Alibey streams at the head of the Golden Horn. The Eyüp neighborhood is a historically important area, especially for Turkey's Muslims. It became district centre in 1936, after some parts of Fatih, Çatalca and Sarıyer was joined together; later for some time it also included Gaziosmanpaşa and Bayrampaşa districts. Its present boundaries were established after the borough of Yayla was given to Sultangazi in 2009. Explored Ephesus, one of the world’s most outstanding archaeological sites. Awesome structures such as the Library of Celsius, Hadrian Temple, Marble Street and Agora. Ephesus is also one of the 7 Churches of Revelation and holds the House of Virgin Mary. Virgin Mary and St. John were said to have lived in Ephesus and died there. We also visited one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - Artemis Temple. Continued to Pamukkale and visited the ruins Ancient City of Hierapolis and explored Cotton Castle, a World Heritage site, made of fascinating white terraces and pools created by calcareous hot spring waters flowing down the mountain.

Today's Walking in Istanbul 2019 Video starts in Tünel Meydanı (Tunel Square). We walk on the Istiklal Street in Istanbul. This street is located in Beyoğlu district between the Tunel Square and the Taksim Square. The İstiklal Avenue was called during the Ottoman times Grande Rue de Pera and Cadde-i Kebir.
A visit to Istiklal Street is an opportunity to experience Istanbul. It is 1.4 kilometers long and houses boutiques, shops, malls, bookstores, art galleries, cinemas, theatres, cafés, pubs, nightclubs, patisseries and restaurants. The city is always busy, also at nighttime. This place is a favourite Istanbul nightlife district.
Shopping is also fun, because there are many opportunities in every price class. The nostalgic tram also runs through the Istiklal Avenue.
Istiklal Street is one of the best places to see in Istanbul. Come and visit Istanbul 2019.
