Whose City Park Was This? Clearcutting of Denver Parks
Mayor Hancock is the first Mayor to eliminate city park/open space land. Clearcutting has been practiced in three Denver Parks since 2013. In 2010 City Council changed zoning to give total control over City Parks to one person - the mayor. Park Hill Golf Course is the fourth city park to face cooption by the city, to become part of a stormwater drainage system proposed for protection against 100 year flooding of the expansion and lowering of an I-70 overpass in a floodplain, as well as development projects along I-70 that include proposed Olympic facilities.
Tom Paxton and the World Folk Music Association have been gracious enough to permit accompaniment of this video by his performance of Whose Garden Was This? written by Tom Paxton in 1970 for the first Earth Day.

Deer in the park within Denver suburbs
Deer in the park within Denver suburbs. Thank you for local goverment of Colorado state to support such an amazing wild life that we have in Colorado, USA.
I was driving my daily 10 miles on the bike and then I saw bunch of deer. I recorded this video with iPhone 6S with MoviePro apps but forgot to adjust my iso, so footage is noisy and shaky because i jumped out of the bike to capture them. It was pretty dark too, so Movie Pro apps did a good job at iso 800 but would be a little bit better with the lower iso and stabilizer. Want to see more footage from my live in Colorado? Like it and I will release more videos.

Places to see in ( New Orleans - USA ) New Orleans City Park
City Park, a 1,300-acre (5.3 km2) public park in New Orleans, Louisiana, is the 87th largest and 20th-most-visited urban public park in the United States. City Park is approximately 50% larger than Central Park in New York City, the municipal park recognized by Americans nationwide as the archetypal urban greenspace. Although it is an urban park whose land is owned by the City of New Orleans, it is administered by the City Park Improvement Association, an arm of state government, not by the New Orleans Parks and Parkways Department. City Park is very unusual in that it is a largely self-supporting public park, with most of its annual budget derived from self-generated revenue through user fees and donations.
In the wake of the enormous damage inflicted upon the park due to Hurricane Katrina, the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism began to partially subsidize the park's operations. City Park holds the world's largest collection of mature live oak trees, some older than 600 years in age. The park was founded in 1854, making it the 48th oldest park in the country, and established as the City Park in 1891.
The park was originally a location used for dueling. In the 1800s, men would defend their pride and honor by dueling each other under the oaks at what is now City Park but then was a normally quiet spot secluded from the rest of the city. Originally, there were two dueling oaks, but one was lost in a hurricane in 1949. City Park was established in the mid-19th century on land fronting Metairie Road (now City Park Avenue), along the remains of Bayou Metairie, a former distributary of the Mississippi River.

Colorado:
Colorado is the U.S. state that encompasses most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Western United States, the Southwestern United States, and the Mountain States. Colorado is the 8th most extensive and the 22nd most populous of the 50 United States. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the population of Colorado was 5,116,796 on July 1, 2011, an increase of +1.74% since the 2010 United States Census.
The state was named for the Colorado River, which early Spanish explorers named the Río Colorado for the red colored (Spanish: colorado) silt the river carried from the mountains. On August 1, 1876, U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant signed a proclamation admitting Colorado as the 38th state. Colorado is nicknamed the Centennial State because it was admitted to the Union in 1876, the centennial year of the United States Declaration of Independence.
Colorado is bordered by the northwest state of Wyoming to the north, the midwest states of Nebraska and Kansas to the northeast and east, on the south by New Mexico a small portion of the southwestern state of Oklahoma, on the west by Utah, and Arizona to the southwest. The four states of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah meet at one common point known as the Four Corners, which is known as the heart of the American Southwest.
Colorado is noted for its vivid landscape of mountains, forests, high plains, mesas, canyons, plateaus, rivers, and desert lands.
Denver is the capital and the most populous city of Colorado. Residents of the state are properly known as Coloradans, although the term Coloradoan is still used.

Cameron Park, California
Cameron Park is a census-designated place in El Dorado County, California, United States and is part of the Sacramento metropolitan area. The population was 18,228 at the 2010 census, up from 14,549 at the 2000 census. Cameron Park is a community located in the Northern California Gold Country of the Sierra Nevada foothills, approximately 30 miles east of Sacramento and 70 miles west of South Lake Tahoe.
The original Native American inhabitants of the area surrounding Cameron Park were Nisenan, or Southern Maidu Indians. Grinding rocks and burial mounds serve as glimpses of the past and are still visible in various locations in and near Cameron Park.
Modern development accelerated in the area when Larry Cameron purchased 5,000 acres of foothill land in the 1950s for development purposes, first for ranching, then involving housing, a golf course, parks, a lake and a small airport. In the years since then, the land has slowly been sub-divided into lots of varying sizes, including ranch-sized properties and medium and high density residential neighborhoods. Today, Cameron Park contains a mix of ranches, single family homes, condominiums, apartments and businesses.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.2 square miles of which 11.1 square miles is land and 0.1 square miles is water.
