Florida's Marine Life before & after Red Tide Vlog Part 2 of 2
This is a follow up of my Florida Red Tide Conservation Vlog
I WEAR MY HEART ON MY WETSUIT SLEEVE ~ Ricky Zen
In this video, I drove down to Sarasota & Sanibel Island Florida and many beaches in-between to document the affects our 2018 Red Tide.
As you can see it is not always calm sunny days with conservation photography. What a an amazing lighting storm!
As a Conservation Photographer and Artist, my expertise is in Wildlife and Underwater photography. In this particular video it was important to share the truth as to why it's vital for us to protect our natural environment and to preserve our planet's life sustaining water.
Florida is experiencing the worst red tide in our history to date because of heavy amounts of pollution causing nitrogen! The red tide although a natural reoccurring event has now been supercharged and magnified. This is due to run offs from life threatening pollutants flowing into our waterways and ocean. So disastrous that it is killing millions of our fresh and salt water life. Large fish, namely the endangered Goliath grouper, sharks, and a whale shark, encluded also are mammals, Dolphin, Manatees and the extremely endangered Sea Turtle to name a few. All have been found lifeless, by the hundreds, lining the beautiful Florida beaches.
