The Voss Line (Voss - Bergen)
The famous and scenic Flåm Line branches off the Bergen Line at Myrdal and goes down to Flåm. It's the steepest adhesion normal gauge railway in Northern Europe with a grade of 55‰ (1:18).

Norway Roadtrip 2009 Part 9/9:
Thank you Norway for those unforgatable days. Our last two days in Norway. First we drove the E18 from Kristiansand to Oslo and visited the Vigelandspark, a attraction for people from all over the world. In the city of Oslo we saw how Vikings looke like today and the Royal Palace. On museum peninsula Bygdøy you can see old Norwegian Farmhouses, a Norwegian horse, a stave church, the polar research ship Fram, the vessel from Nansen and Amundsen, Thor Heyerdals Kontiki (Pacific crossing 1947) and Ra (Atlantic crossing 1970). Back in the city we listened to the bagpipe music of Scottish soccer fans (qualification game for FIFA world championship 2010). At the last day we drove to the Color Line cruises at Oslo port.
Norwegen Urlaub 2009 Teil 9/9:
Herzlichen Dank Norwegen für diese unvergesslich schönen Tage. Unsere beiden letzten Tage in Norwegen. Erst gehts über die E18 von Kristiansand nach Oslo, wo wir den Vigelandspark besuchen, ein Treffpunkt für Touristen aus aller Welt. In Oslos Innenstadt sehen wir den Königlichen Palast und einen Wikinger der Gegenwart. Auf der Museumshalbinsel Bygdøy gibt es alte Bauernhäuser zu sehen und noch vieles mehr: Ein Norweger Pferd, einen Stabkirche, das Polarforschungsschiff Fram (von Nansen und Amundsen), Thor Heyerdahls Floß Kontiki (Pazifik-Überquerung 1947) und die Ra (Atlantik-Überquerung 1970). Zurück in der Stadt können wir die Dudelsack-Musik der schottischen Fußballfans sehen (Fifa Fußball Weltmeisterschaft Qualifikation für 2010). Am letzten Tag fahren wir zur Color Line Fähre im Hafen von Oslo.
