Prowling Water Snake (2010)
Video of an apparently hunting Red Bellied Water Snake. After swimming and looking around the snake eventually settled in one spot, with its head just above the water and the rest of its body resting on the bottom of this small stagnant creek. Filmed at the Congaree Creek Heritage Preserve in Columbia, South Carolina, Spring of 2010.
Confluence of Congaree Creek into the Congaree River - 10 May 2013
At 20 seconds watch the black waters of Congaree Creek mix with the muddy Congaree River. Not many ever see this, it is more dramatic after heavy rains cause the river to dirty up from clay lands upstream. Congaree Creek on the other hand passes through the sand hills and carries very little mud.

Description
Effort to dredge coal tar from the Congaree River is back on track
SCANA and DHEC have revived plans to remove toxic coal tar from the Congaree River in Columbia South Carolina. This video was produced in 2015 and looked at the original dredging plan. The new plan is a similar proposal, but scaled back slightly.
