Split in 4K
Welcome to the largest city at the Adriatic coast, and the second largest in Croatia – Split. Make yourself comfortable and let us guide you through this historical rich metropolis in 4K resolution, of course.
Enjoy and please share!
Split emerged from a settlement around Diocletian´s palace, who was an important Roman imperator. Now, this city counts over 200 000 inhabitants and is often seen as a transport hub with great ferry, bus, air and even train links.
If you travel through Croatia, you will end up in Split on some point of your journey, for sure. In this case be sure to see the old town around the Diocletian´s palace, climb up on the top of the bell tower of St. Dominus Cathedral and explore the inside of this old church, make a stop at the Croatian National Theatre and the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery, enjoy the panoramic view over old town Split from Marjan hill, take a walk at the Riva and explore the harbour, the Grgur Ninski statue at the Golden Gate of the old town is also worth a visit and a lot more. All of them a part of this video.
Filmed and Edited by Amir Kulaglic using: GH4, DJI Inspire 1 and Glidecam HD4000, Canon Mark III and Sony a7r II for Timelapse with Emotimo TB3 and Rhino Slider.

Croatia Travel Guide - The National Theatre in Zagreb
Take a tour of Zagreb National Theatre in Zagreb, Croatia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
The National Theatre in Zagreb, Croatia elegantly welcomes patrons from across the plaza on which it stands.
This profoundly beautiful theatre is also a wellspring of national pride and integral in the history of the Croatian National Movement.
The impetus for this construction came when in the 19th century the government realized the need for a new national theatre to serve as a cultural center of Zagreb.
After over 150 years, the Zagreb National Theatre is still the prime source for Croatian theater.
The entrance is marked by the famous 'Source of Life', a fountain designed by Croatian native, sculptor Ivan Meštrović.
The fountain beckons patrons and admirers while representing the Theatre's ever-flowing pride.

The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb (Croatian: Hrvatsko narodno kazalište u Zagrebu), commonly referred to as HNK Zagreb, is a theatre located in Zagreb, owned and operated by the Ministry of Culture. The theatre evolved out of the first city theatre built in 1836 housed in the present-day Old City Hall. The theatre was first established as the Croatian National Theatre in 1860, and in 1861 it gained government support putting it on par with many other European national theatres.
