Monumental Landing in Rhodes
I thought this would be the perfect video to dabble with as far as clipping and editing. I have much to learn, but I wanted to share with you the video I took of the plane landing in Rhodes. The music is by Zero-Project...a Greek composer! Enjoy and let me know what you think?

The medieval city of Rhodes, a monument of world cultural heritage by UNESCO since 1988, was developed without a specific urban design around the fortress-citadel of Rhodes, probably after the earthquake in 515. The fortress was divided into two distinct urban figures, Kollakio in the north and Chora in the south. Included in Kollakio was the well known street of the Knights, the Palace (or Castelo) of the Grand Master, the hospital (which is now converted into a museum), the temples of the Order and other important buildings. In Chora is the Turkish bazaar around Suleiman mosque, the old market and other buildings of touring interest.
According to the official site of UNESCO, the Ospitalieroi of the order of St. John of Jerusalem occupied Rhodes by two and even centuries, from 1309 to 1523, transforming the city into a strong fortress, because of its liquidity and extended conflicts of the era. Later, the city served as tandem under Turkish and Italian rule.
Rhodes is considered to be one of the oldest active medieval towns and meeting point of many cultures.
