10 Things to do in Kotor, Montenegro Travel Guide Video Transcript: (Котор)
Good morning friends. We have made it to Montenegro. We're in Kotor (Котор) right by the water we're staying in the Old Town. We've been here a few days and it has been raining non-stop just like it was in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Like the first half of the week it just poured but now it is nice. We can't wait to explore this city so join us as we make a little travel guide.
If there’s one thing that had caught our attention upon arriving in Kotor (Cattaro), it was the fortifications that not only encircle the old town but also run all the way up into the mountain, so a hike up to Kotor Fortress was the first stop on our itinerary.
As a tip, we would say the best time to hike up to Kotor Fortress is in the morning because the path is shaded. This isn’t a huge consideration if you’re visiting in winter like we did, but definitely something to keep in mind if you visit in the summer.
The Cathedral of St Tryphon was built in honor of the patron saint and protector of the city, on the very same spot where an older church had already stood long ago. We paid our admission and went in to visit the cathedral’s very own museum.
After walking along part of the city walls, we stopped by the Sea Gate, which is the third entrance into the Old Town. As soon as you walk through here you’re met with a clock tower and a big square that’s encircled by restaurants and lots of little lanes that break away - basically it’s a great place to wander.
And now we want to show you one more restaurant that we enjoyed in Kotor (Cattaro). This one was called Cesarica and they specialized in seafood.
Lastly, if you want to enjoy a little evening stroll, the Port of Kotor is a beautiful place. Not only can you enjoy the city all lit up at night, but if you happen to be there on a day when the cruise ship pulls into town, it’s worth sticking around to watch it manoeuvre its way.
And that concludes our visit to Kotor (Котор). We hope you guys enjoyed following along and we’ll see you in the next video where we visit the neighbouring coastal town of Budva.

Vir - Beautiful Island - Croatia
The island of Vir is one of the 300 islands in the Zadar archipelago, that is, one of 1186 islands and islets in the Croatian Adriatic. It lies in Sea of Vir (Virsko more) in the northwestern part of Dalmatia, and it is the twentieth largest island among the Croatian islands, and the eighth in the Zadar archipelago. It has a surface of 22.38 km, lenght of 10,12 km and its widest part is 4.25 km. Its coast-line is 31,43 km long. Distance between Vir and Zadar is 26 km, and around 15 NM by sea-route. Vir is connected to the mainland by bridge that spans across the Shellows of Privlaka since 1976., which enabled the island to become an integral part of the mainland. Therefore, visitors can experience the typical atmosphere of the island, while at the same time can enjoy the mobility offered by a modern road network. Vir is part of the genuine Mediterranean climate. Number of sunny hours per year is 2450, or almost 300 days of sunshine, that makes it a pleasant destination out of the main season also. The average amount of rainfall is around 1000 mm, so the summer has an average of 5-6 rainy days, and during the main season this number is reduced by half. Winds are the most important climate characteristic of Vir. In the spring occurs mistral, which is a major and a refreshing wind during the summer, that reduces summer temperatures and creates good conditions for sailing and surfing. The highest average temperature in July is about 25 ° C, while the lowest is in January and is 6.5 ° C. This healthy climate affects health and life length of the population.
Along the coast of Vir there are pebbly and sandy beaches partly situated near pine trees and surrounded by crystal clear sea waters, making this island a perfect place for a family holiday. Very special place holds a small island of Školjić, covered in pine trees and long sandy beach that is its particularity. Školjić is situated near the bridge that connects the island of Vir to the mainland. Besides swimming, surfing, sailing, jet skiing and other water sports, hiking enthusiasts can admire the beautiful panorama that encompasses entire Vir, nearby islands and Velebit mountain (1750 m), from the top of Bandira vantage point (112m). We recommend this area to those who enjoy mountain-biking. Very interesting is also the peloid mud that is used for the treatment of rheumatic diseases, and can be found at some Vir beaches, especially ones near the bay of Sapavac, close to the Venetian fortress – Kaštelina. We highly recommend it to seniors. If you enjoy picnics, Vir is the perfect place because of its excellent location on the Croatian Adriatic, and nearness of national parks such as: impressive canyon Paklenica, Kornati with 200 islands and islets, Krka waterfalls and Plitvice lakes. Also, nearby is situated the ancient royal town Nin with the smallest cathedral in the world – St. Cross (Sveti Križ) and the 3000 years old town Zadar with many historical monuments.
As there are no large hotels, Vir tourist offer is based exclusively on the private accommodation: family pensions or rooms, apartments and whole house rentals. Vir offers restaurants and bars with shady terraces, taverns, beach bars, disco club, beach parties on the beach Jadro, Vir summer program, concerts on the terrace Kotarina with many famous artists; car, boat, inflatable boat, bicycle, and buggy rentals; yacht charter, diving club, big game fishing, organized trips and many other services. On the island you can find a pharmacy, post office, currency exchange, bank machines, fresh fruit and vegetables markets and a travel agency Vir Tourism, which makes our tourist offer both high in quality and very attractive. Nowdays, Vir has over seven thousand holiday houses and by the number of guests in the summer months becomes a tourist town with lots of contrast, so many call it “The Island of Contrasts.” On the island we encounter the original parts of nature of a typical Mediterranean climate, from baren land, pasture and hills to beautiful pine forests, arable vineyards, olove grooves, fields and gardens; sandy to rocky beaches; low shores to steep clifs; old mediterranean houses to modern contemporary style villas; stone roads and macadam to asphalt highways and from the most quiet old villages to crowded town centers.

Kotor Apartment Tour in Montenegro
Come join us for an airbnb apartment tour in Kotor, Montenegro as we showcase our place that we stayed in located in the Old Town of the city. We loved the rustic feel of the place, felt is was plenty spacious enough for the two of us and really enjoyed staying in the heart of the city for exploring and eating out. Also, we had many friendly stray cats come for frequent visits so we ended up buying a lot of cat food to feed them while also offering up plenty of pets.

Kotor Apartment Tour in Montenegro Travel Video Transcript:
Okay guys so it is our very last morning here in Kotor and that means one thing. We still need to show you our apartment so we figured since we're staying in the Old Town we would walk out to the gates which are quite impressive. This is the South Gate over here and we're going to give you a little tour. We'll walk through the old town and take you to our little pad for the week.
So we have now made it to this grand staircase which leads us all the way to the apartment. This is also where a lot of stray cats hung out. And we've befriended quite a few of them. I think we bought, we ended up buying 4 boxes of cat food.
Well, shall we go inside? Yes, time for the apartment tour. Come on in to our crib in the old town of Kotor (Котор).
This is the entrance and I guess the first thing we can show you is the bedroom since you're standing right there. This is the bedroom double bed. It was a really good mattress. I slept really well at night. Um, we have a big window here. I should just point out quickly we had a laundry rack. We did do laundry once.
If you follow me I guess the next place we can do is the bathroom. This is just basically your standard bathroom. There is a small little toilet. Here is the water heater. The shower had decent water pressure but it did run out of hot water if both of us showered kind of back to back.
This is the room that I really like. The living area and my favorite thing come closer don't run away would be this like stone wall. It looks really rustic with like the wooden roof, ceiling, yes.
Here is the wooden ceiling. Just a nice big couch. We did a lot of work here, watched Netflix and you can actually turn this into another bed if you wanted to. We also had a TV but we just never watch tv.
You need to turn on the light to the kitchen. I did quite a bit of cooking here as we ate at home a lot.
It is kind of an electric stove. That is where we'd cook our pasta. Um, washing machine. It was a small kitchen but it had everything we needed. And the location of this apartment right in the Old Town. I mean we're just like a few blocks from the south gate. Yeah, so that was really cool. Um, so yeah that was the apartment. It was small. It was cozy but it was perfect for two people. So next let's go to the couch and you can tell us the price.
How much was this place? So this place for one week with a discount was $27 US dollars a night. Yeah. And I thought that was a steal. Right now it is November 20th so we stayed from the 13th until the 20th. I'm guessing in the summer this place might run for double or even triple. I mean the location is unbelievable in the Old Town. Incredible value traveling in the off-season this time.
Um, in terms of our opinion of Kotor (Котор) we really liked it. We thought it was a really cool destination. Wonderful to walk through the Old Town. Hanging out around the harbor was cool. The hike up to the fortress I think was the highlight for both of us.
In terms of like what we didn't love as much. It was not the best food city. In fact, I would say for our entire trip in the Balkans this has probably are least favorite city for food. We tried eating out a few times and we had kind of okay to average meals. That is our tour and next up in Budva, Montenegro.

Bosnian Food Review - 5 Things to try in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina Travel Video Transcript:
Well hello there! We managed to find a really cool restaurant and we're going to go film there today. The rain hasn't stopped but it is a little bit lighter so we're going to make our way there and yeah show you what Bosnian and Herzegovina food is all about.
I'm very excited to be trying Bosnian coffee. Oh yeah. This is my very 1st time to try it. Apparently it is very similar to Turkish coffee. Super strong. It is supposed to be very strong. The grounds apparently are uh the coffee grounds are still at the very bottom. Yeah, so they're not filtered. They are not filtered out of the water so you have to let them yep settle before you pour yourself a cup.
It is nice and strong.
Also I feel like I should mention where we are eating because we kind of just ran in here with our umbrellas and didn't really show you the outside. It is called Šadrvan and it is on the west side of the river just as soon as you cross the bridge.
The feast has landed on the table. It sure has. And we're going to start with the first dish which is Dolma. Yeah. And if you have a closer look at this it is basically stuffed peppers with minced meat, rice, parsley, onions and it comes with a giant dollop of cream in the middle. A giant dollop.
This is kind of the ultimate mix plate with tonnes of sour cream. Sour cream. So then you have another one dolma stuffed pepper over there. One dolma.
What is really cool over here is you have it looks like some stewed meat. It is so tender I had that last night. And then you have the Bosnian cookies which is not a cookie at all.
So what is in it? I had this last night and it is basically like a beef patty. Right. So it made with ground beef, eggs, garlic, I think onions and like a little bit of breadcrumbs to give it texture along with rice.
Okay dish number 3. This isn't actually a main. This was our side order. Yeah. And we were trying to keep things relatively healthy. Yeah. So we got a grilled vegetable platter. So if you take a closer look we've got some slices of eggplant, zucchini. We have some mushrooms. It looks like another whole pepper.
And now for dessert and we're having Baklava. It is basically kind of like a mille feux pastry. Like a puffed pastry with all of these layers. And in between you've got like these finely chopped nuts. Yeah. With either honey or some kind of sugary syrup.
We just paid the bill. We sure did. What was the damage? So in local currency which is Bosnian Convertible Marka which has like I think 1.6 exchange rate with the US dollar. That came to twenty two US dollars and fifty cents and in Euros that was 19.40.
We'd give it a five out of five. We'll be back again. Tata!

You might not know who Arjan Roskam is, but you've probably smoked his weed. Arjan's been breeding some of the most famous marijuana strains in the world—like White Widow, Super Silver Haze, and many others—for over 20 years.
In 1992 he opened his first coffee shop in Amsterdam and has since crafted his marijuana-breeding skills into a market-savvy empire known as Green House Seed Company, which rakes in millions of dollars a year.
He's won 38 Cannabis Cups and has dubbed himself the King of Cannabis.
VICE joins Arjan and his crew of strain hunters in Colombia to look for three of the country's rarest types of weed, strains that have remained genetically pure for decades. In grower's terms, these are called landraces. We trudge up mountains and crisscross military checkpoints in the country's still-violent south, and then head north to the breathtaking Caribbean coast. As the dominoes of criminalization fall throughout the world, Arjan is positioned to be at the forefront of the legitimate international seed trade.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dioniz je Hard Rock band iz Splita, osnovan 1990.
Nakon nekoliko godina svirki, gitarijada, motorijada i kadrovskih promjena, 1996. stabilizirala se potava u sastavu:
Davor Gavran - vokal, ritam gitara
Dario Bakota - solo gitara
Petar Šantić - bas
Alen Pavelić - bubnjevi
1999. snimaju demo sa 12 pjesama i šalju u Croatia Records. Uskoro, na sveopće iznenađenje, javlja im se pokojni Đorđe Novković (tadašnji suvlasnik i direktor programa Croatia Recordsa), kome se materijal svidio i nudi im ugovor za izdavanje albuma.
Iste godine, pod producentskom palicom Dragana Lukića-Lukya, snimaju svoj prvi album, Ništa o ljubavi kojeg objavljuje Croatia Records.
Uskoro band napuštaju Dario Bakota i Petar Šantić, a zamjenjuju ih Mario Stojan-Mane (solo gitara) i Ivan Ivanišević (bas).
2010. Dioniz nastupa na HRT-u u emisiji Garaža
Drugi dio albuma Ubi Bacchus Ibi venus, na žalost, nije objavljen do dana današnjeg, iako je često najavljivan.

Gear down, three green and let´s get started!
So let´s look at the different types of landing gears. The most common one out there is the single axle landing gear with a tyre fitted on each side mounted to a large strut. Mostly used on passenger jets such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.
With increasing weight, you need more surface, so more tyres to evenly distribute the weight of the aircraft.
So if we look at the main landing gear of the Boeing 757, you have the main landing gear strut, which by the way is filled with nitrogen acting as a spring force and hydraulic fluids for dampening. Then you have the truck or boogie, and four tires in tandem pairs. But more importantly, for today´s topic, you see this little hydraulic actuator right here, the so-called truck positioning actuator aka the tilt actuator. This little actuator is attached aft of the main gear strut and pushes the rear wheels downwards forcing the forward wheels to move upwards as the truck is axially mounted to the main strut.
As the plane comes in for landing, the rear wheels touch-down first. The actuator holds up against the pushing force, otherwise, the rear tires could bounce up, slamming the forward tires into the ground. Once the weight of the plane presses the tires onto ground, a pressure relief valve opens up and the actuator collapses letting both tires touch down. This all happens in the split of a second. Once the actuator is fully compressed, so weight on wheels, it triggers the air/ground sensing unit from air to ground before the nose wheel has touched down, automatically extending the ground spoilers and allowing thrust reverser deployment and depressurizing the aircraft etc.
