Estes Park KOA Campgrounds in Colorado. May 2016.
Estes Park KOA Campgrounds, in Colorado. This is just short Snapchat video of some of the beautiful things that are there. You can camp in a tent. You can camp in one of the cabins, that are absolutely beautiful, and see the breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains in the National Rockies Forest. At elevation 7000 feet there are lots of beautiful and wonderful places to visit. I would suggest if you do take an RV, there are full RV hookups aslo. Bring another vehicle to go driving around. Or you can rent one. The town of Estes isn't very far away and they have everything you need there. There is a store on campgrounds, community fire pits, and individual ones. There is a store on sight, and they havea few stores for camping needs across the street, or you can hike and do all kinds of outdoor activities. Or just go driving looking and find a nice secluded place and go fishing hiking or rock climbing. Look up your area and know where you're going. It's actually healing there just to sit among the clean air, land and water. People are very friendly. it's sunny there. 70 degrees. Cool at night. It can thunderstorm. Any kind of weather can go by very quickly. The staff is very nice. The new owner is a very kind spiritual person. I'm so grateful we went. Breathtaking views of snowcap mountains. Spiritual place to just sit or walk and take it all in. A wonderful healing getaway. You'll never want to leave. God bless this most Spiritual place to heal. Freedom.

Colorado National Monument - Park Travel Review
Colorado National Monument is located in Western Colorado, near the Utah border. The Rim Rock Drive is about 25 miles long and has many stops and pullouts along the way. This was our first trip to the area and we were delighted to spend some of our time there.
During our day int eh park, we took in several of the short trails and got an overview of some of the formations and monuments in the park. A favorite is Independence Monument. We got an overlook of it from Otto's Trail. I ti the track that John Otto took on his first accent of the Monument.
More information on John Otto from the NPS Site: Otto spearheaded fundraising campaigns, collected signatures for petitions, and penned newspaper editorials and endless letters to Washington politicians in support of national recognition for the ancient canyons and towering monoliths of his adopted home.
We had a wonderful time exploring Colorado National Monument and the area around Fruita, Colorado. This NPS site is a Must do if you are traveling on I-70.

Family Road Trip: Colorado
Music by:
So here we are in part 2 of our road trip. In the last video we finally settled down at least for a few days in Colorado. We booked a spot at the Mancos State Park just outside of Mancos, CO. It is an immaculate campground in a beautiful setting. So after we got our Tepui tent set up, we got some much needed rest after the wind kept us up the night before while in Flagstaff, AZ. Since waking up refreshed, we decided to take the the trails. The whole family loves to hike and we picked up some small camelbak backpacks for the kids so they could carry their things and some water to drink. We hiked all around the lake, saw a few deer, and even picked up some trash we found to help the park rangers keep that place spotless. After hiking around most of the day, it was time for a hearty dinner. We grilled on an open flame some fresh t bone steaks, steamed broccoli in some foil, and made some instant mashed potatoes in my backpacking stove. We even brought a salad along. It was very tasty! Then again, any meal outdoors is my favorite meal! After dinner, we promised the kids that we would make smores. I had seen on instagram where someone used reeses peanut butter cups instead of a hersheys bar. Let me tell you, it was pure bliss. Well, I hope you've enjoyed this video. The kids were starting to get comfortable and really started enjoying themselves. You can see as they're just being silly most of the time! Stay tuned for part 3!

A Drive Through Colorado National Monument
You'll find the best scenery in Grand Junction at Colorado National Monument, overlooking the valley and the western front of the Colorado Rockies. This drive takes you into the park from Fruita, all the way through to the other end, then on to Grand Junction.
MyDrivelapse.com and Takemytrip.com provide driving videos and stories to help you plan your trip. Check out hundreds of videos on my YouTube channel. Subscribe if you like it! Dozens of new videos are on the way in the coming weeks.
I made this trip in January 2018. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).

Rocky Mountain (USA) National Park Travel Guide
Travel video about destination Rocky Mountain in The USA.
No other mountains in the United States of America conjure up the myths and legends of the Wild West than do the Rocky Mountains. The Rocky Mountains National Park contains only a small area of North America’s mighty, thousand kilometre long mountain range. It is located in Colorado and rightly deserves its reputation as being one of the greatest natural paradises in the U.S.A.In late spring the vast ocean of flowers that cloaks the meadows is in stark contrast to the snow covered mountain peaks. In the deeper regions the landscape is mostly covered by dense forests that are dominated by many varieties of pine tree. Powerful forces are always at work creating new scenes of natural splendour and in spring time after the snow has melted the creeks are transformed into mighty torrents of water. The combination of high mountains, dense forest, crystal clear lakes, wild rivers and idyllic valleys gives this region a unique atmosphere. The Rocky Mountains National Park is beyond doubt one of the most spectacular and outstanding areas of natural beauty anywhere in the world.

ABOUT US
Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, nearly always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the western U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and our dogs Zoe and Maggie are avid boondockers, so you'll seldom find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds. Instead, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. And unlike most other RV channels on YouTube, we're not RV dealers or full-timers -- we're weekend warriors just like you!
We'll provide tips and insight on equipping and maintaining your RV, trip planning and travel videos to make your next adventure a grand one indeed! So, subscribe to make sure that you catch every episode, and remember...life is nothing but a Grand Adventure!
