Fairyland Loop Trail-Bryce Canyon National Park
This is a short video of the Fairyland Loop Trail that I hiked on my 57th birthday, July 16, 2014. It's a great hike that showcases the beauty of the hoodoos of the park. The hike is about eight miles and will take the average hiker about three and a half hours or so.

Peek-A-Boo Loop | HIGHLIGHTS - Bryce Canyon National Park
On this very morning (December 2017), I explored/hiked Bryce Canyon National Park in the state of Utah. This challenging path through the Hoodoo’s is complete with eye popping sceneries looking into the sandstone Canyons that will forever be remembered. Bryce Canyon National Park consists of around 37,000 acres of scenic colorful rock formations and desert wonderland. Individuals from all over the world come and visit this location with languages as varied as the shapes and colors of the hoodoos express pleasure in the sights. Elevations ranging from 6-9 thousand feet and diverse soil and moisture conditions influence the park’s plant life.

Hiking Navajo Loop Trail | Bryce Canyon National Park | 3 min (Utah)
We hiked the hoodoos of Navajo Loop Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park, UT. This is one of the most popular trails in Bryce Canyon NP.
Hoodoos are most commonly found in the High Plateaus region of the Colorado Plateau and in the Badlands regions of the Northern Great Plains.
We loved walking in the middle of these colorful limestone rock formations. Their beauty was breathtaking. The amazing giant Douglas Firs trees are between 500 and 700 years old and in the middle of the hoodoos. The trail offers a great view on Thor's Hammer. Sunset Point in the best view in the park after Inspiration Point.

BRYCE CANYON National Park [Peek-A-Boo Loop] - Utah
On this day (December 2016), I explored Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. There is no place like Bryce Canyon with odd shaped pillars of rocks left standing from forces of erosion that can be found on every continent, however, these are the largest collection of “Hoodoos” in the world. Pictures are amazing, but they do not do justice.

Fairyland Loop Trail hike - Bryce Canyon National Park. IRISHWATERDOGS.
Fairyland Loop Trail begins at Fairyland Point, at the northern portion of the park, and takes you through spectacular hoodoos and scenery along the rim and into the canyon; including a spur trail to Tower Bridge. The Fairyland Loop Trail also includes a portion of the Rim
Trail from Sunset Point to Fairyland Point.
This hike is considered strenuous due to its length and meandering trails with multiple elevation changes. It is best to carry plenty of water, 1 quart (liter) for every 2-3 hours of hiking per person, as this hike typically takes 4-5 hours round trip over the 8 mile (12.9 km) length. In the summer sun screen or large brim hats are recommended and are even a comfort year round to avoid sunburn.

Bryce Canyon National Park - Sunrise to Sunset Point hike through Hoodoos
The Navajo Loop Trail descends from Sunset Point through the slot canyon of Wall Street, where 500 to 700-year-old Douglas Firs reach upward toward the sunlight at the top of the canyon. The Navajo Loop is the most popular trail in the park, and is often combined with the Queen's Garden Trail to form a longer loop that passes through the Queen's Garden and emerges onto the rim at Sunrise Point. From here two very scenic and easy strolls can be taken as part of the Rim Trail. A ½-mile walk to the north on a wheelchair accessible trail which takes you to Sunset Point. Walking ¾ of a mile to the south across gently rolling terrain, you arrive at Inspiration Point.
My exact route:
Start at Sunset Point - known as Queens Garden Trail
Quick stop at Queen Victoria
Continue Queens Garden Trail to Peeakaboo Loop.
Hike Peekaboo Loop counter clockwise
Head up Navajo Loop (known as all street.
Finish up at Sunset Point.

Bryce Canyon National Park Part 2
Utah Travel Vlog - This is last part of our Bryce Canyon National Park vlog. In this episode we take you to the best local breakfast buffet, then see the Rainbow Point, unfortunately due to wildfire Yovimpe Point was closed for hiking. Then we did one of the best Bryce Canyon trail - The Tower Bridge which took us through the Chinese Wall.
We had a great time at Bryce and we highly recommend this park and Ruby's Inn for accommodation and local dining experience.

Bryce Canyon - Fairyland Loop
Hiking Bryce Canyon during winter was amazing. Snow storm forced us to exit Highway 15 and stay one day at Cedar City. Next day it stopped snowing so we headed to Bryce Canyon. Some trails were closed but Fairyland loop was open.
