Fethiye Camii(Mosque) Athens, Greece
One of two surviving mosques in Athens. This one is used for storage, and the other one is restored, but used as a museum for Greek folk art. In my opinion, these buildings should be restored as mosques and used by the 200,000 Muslims living in Athens today.

Το Φετιχιέ τζαμί, Τζαμί του Πορθητή, είναι ένα κτήριο που οικοδομήθηκε το β' μισό του 17ου αιώνα στο κέντρο της Αθήνας.
Κατασκευάστηκε το 1668–1670 και βρίσκεται στο βόρειο τμήμα της Ρωμαϊκής Αγοράς, κοντά στον Πύργο των Ανέμων, κτισμένο στα ερείπια μιας τρίκλιτης βασιλικής της μέσοβυζαντινής περιόδου. Κατά την τουρκοκρατία, ήταν γνωστό ως το τζαμί του Σταροπάζαρου. Από το 1834, όταν η Αθήνα έγινε πρωτεύουσα του ελληνικού κράτους και μέχρι τις πρώτες δεκαετίες του 20ού αιώνα χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως στρατιωτικό αρτοποιείο. Έκτοτε χρησιμοποιήθηκε κυρίως ως αρχαιολογική αποθήκη για τα διάφορα ευρήματα των ανασκαφών της Αγοράς και της Ακρόπολης. Λόγω της πληθώρας διαθέσιμου οικοδομικού υλικού κατά το χρόνο ανεγέρσεώς του, ενσωματώνει αρχιτεκτονικά μέλη των κλασσικών και βυζαντινών χρόνων, μεταξύ των οποίων και ιωνικά κιονόκρανα της αρχαίας εποχής.

Ioannina in Greece ( Grecia Griechenland Griekenland ) - Ιωάννινα - is the capital and largest city of Epirus, located on the western shore of lake Pamvotis. Located 450 km from Athens, 290 kilometres from Thessaloniki and 80 km from the port of Igoumenitsa in the Ionian Sea. Founded by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD, the town flourished following the Fourth Crusade, when many wealthy Byzantine families fled there in the early 13th century following the sack of Constantinople. Ioannina has a wealth of attractions and museums: The Islet of Pamvotis lake, the Island Museum, the National Archaeological Museum, the castle located in the center of the town, the Fethiye Mosque located in Its-Kale Fortress, the Aslan Pasha Ottoman Mosque, the Old Ottoman Library, the Byzantine Museum, the Municipal Gallery of Giannina, and the Jewish Synagogue. 10 km south of the city lies the Pavlos Vrellis Greek History Museum, a wax museum which covers events and personalities from Greek history, established in 1995 and it is the result of the personal work of one man. Ioannina is famous throughout Greece for its silverwork and has many shops selling silver jewelry and decorative items.

Beforelight_QResque multimedia installation
QResque installation for the 4th Thessaloniki Biennale, 2013
Alaca Imaret Mosque is 15th-century Ottoman Mosque in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is a monument in the centre of a multicultural ethnic and social fabric.
The QR-esque lighting installation recalls the arabesque technique of decoration, which is frequently used in Islamic architecture, while also conversing with the lace patterns used in traditional Greek weaving. Using their QR code-enabled cell phones, visitors can read the images of the people living in the Alatza İmaret neighborhood and their relationship with the monument.
The Beforelight group collaborated with photographer Stefanos Tsakiris ( who specializes in digital photography and handmade art printing.

Κουρσούμ Τζαμί, Τρίκαλα / Koursoum Mosque, Trikala Greece
Το Κουρσούμ Τζαμί ή Τέμενος Οσμάν Σάχ των Τρικάλων είναι ισλαμικό τέμενος, κτίσμα του 16ου αιώνα σχεδιασμένο από τον Μιμάρ Σινάν, το οποίο σήμερα λειτουργεί ως χώρος ήπιων εκδηλώσεων.
Ονομάζεται έτσι από την τουρκική λέξη κουρσούμ, που σημαίνει μόλυβδος, καθώς ο θόλος του είναι μολυβοσκέπαστος.
Κοντά στο τζαμί σώζεται το οκταγωνικό μαυσωλείο (τουρμπές) του ιδρυτή του, Οσμάν Σαχ, εγγονού του σουλτάνου Σελίμ Α΄, κυβερνήτη της τοπικής επαρχίας (σαντζάκι) ο οποίος πέθανε στα Τρίκαλα το 1567/8. Κατά την παράδοση, ο Οσμάν έκτισε το τζαμί επειδή στα Τρίκαλα θεραπεύτηκε από αρρώστια που τον ταλαιπωρούσε. Το τζαμί σήμερα είναι μνημείο προστατευόμενο από την UNESCO και χρησιμεύει σαν χώρος ήπιων εκδηλώσεων.
