This is the Annual Tybee Island (GA) Polar Plunge start. Hundreds of people, some dressed in costumes, others just 'came as they are' to take the New Year's Day PLUNGE into the Atlantic Ocean just to say 'I did it'! The University of Georgia, also referred to as UGA or simply Georgia, is a public research university with its main campus in Athens, Georgia.
