Why Saté Madura Is The Best Style of Indonesian Skewer — Dining on a Dime
Dining on a Dime heads to beautiful Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for its record-breaking 12th season (What record, exactly? We’ll never tell!). Host Lucas Peterson’s first stop on his tour through the City of Brotherly Love is in the heart of South Philadelphia, a.k.a South Philly, to a casual, cafeteria-style Indonesian restaurant that’s cooking up favorites of the Southeast Asian archipelago like rendang and satay.

Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia - MOST AMAZING DONUTS
If you would like to visit the Reading Terminal Market, it has several different entrances. The entrance we decided to enter is on the intersections of 11th and 12th street on Race Street. Reading Terminal Market usually opens bright and early around 8am but some shops are even open at 7am. The market closes around 6pm in the evening. But some shops might close earlier than others so be sure to stop by at a decent time! Great times to visit the market would be early in the morning as soon as they open to avoid crowds.
Reading Terminal Market is the oldest continuously running farmer's market in the United States. Instantly, when you walk into the market, there will be a mixture of many different smells. But do not worry, it all smells great. There is such diversity in the market whether you are looking for pulled pork sandwich's to Italian food to soul food.
I am also sorry for the ending! There was definitely a malfunction with camera's for footage.

Broad Street Diner in Philadelphia
Broad Street Diner in Philadelphia
thebroadstreetdiner.com
aste the fabulous flavors of the food at Broad Street Diner, our rejuvenated 24 hour diner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You'll love the terrific array of breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods we serve.
Come Find Us
It's easy to find us. We are located right near the excitement and activities in Center City and the Avenue of the Arts. We are also conveniently located near the subways, bus lines, and are within walking distance to all the entertainment, all that Philadelphia has to offer. Be sure to come in and try one of our dishes.
History
In December 2011, the Petrigiannis brothers renovated this old-time diner and it has become a signature sight at the corner of Broad and Ellsworth. We have now reopened and rejuvenated it, and the city along with it. Now, when you ask yourself, “Where can I get a grilled cheese sandwich or an omelet in the middle of the night,” the answer is “at Broad Street Diner.”
New York City Street Food - Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich
Fedoroff’s South Philly Cheesesteaks
A cheesesteak, also known as a Philadelphia cheesesteak, Philly cheesesteak, cheesesteak sandwich, cheese steak, or steak and cheese, is a sandwich made from thinly sliced pieces of beefsteak and melted cheese in a long hoagie roll. A popular regional fast food, it has its roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.
The meat traditionally used is thinly sliced rib-eye or top round, although other cuts of beef are also used. On a lightly oiled griddle at medium temperature, the steak slices are quickly browned and then scrambled into smaller pieces with a flat spatula. Slices of cheese are then placed over the meat, letting it melt, and then the roll is placed on top of the cheese. The mixture is then scooped up with a spatula and pressed into the roll, which is then cut in half.
Common additions include sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms, mayonnaise, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and ketchup.
American cheese, Cheez Whiz, and provolone are the most commonly used cheeses or cheese products put on to the Philly cheesesteak. White American cheese along with provolone cheese are the favorites due to the mild flavor and medium consistency of American cheese.
