Lou Lim Ioc Garden of Macau
Chinese Garden of the Gambling Capital Macau. Macau, a small island on the border of Mainland China is a former Portuguese colony and due to its long history in trading and gambling, many rich Chinese have their domicile here. One of these local merchants was Lou Lim Ioc who built the garden in 1906 as part of his residence, and its design follows the well-known Suzhou Gardens. It turned over to the Macau government in 1974 as a public park, which is popular with local inhabitants.

17th Macao Lotus Flower Festival Splendour of Lotus Flowers, Taipa Houses, Macau
Lotus is the floral emblem of Macau. Every year in summer, the City holds Lotus Flower Festival to showcases different species of lotus flower.
Themed ‘Splendour of Lotus Flowers’ this year, the main exhibition located at the Taipa Houses is decorated with architectural elements typical of South Asia,
Macau have awarded the Top Ten Wetland of China. Macau has seven wetlands in total and the Baía de Nossa Senhora da Esperança Wetland is the most famous one.
Ordinarily application is required for visit this wetland, but now is free to the public during the festival (10th June to 18th June , 2017).
