THE PERFECT ONE DAY SAIGON CITY TOUR (Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Vlog 2019)
Saigon is Vietnam's biggest city. You CAN NOT MISS this if you travel Vietnam. It's got great food, interesting buildings (a bright pink church?) and more motorcycles than there are people. Ho Chi Minh City is a great place to explore for a couple of days. Come and see the opera house, the city hall, a pink church and Kim getting lost (yes - again :D). It's got a great street food scene and everything you could hope for. Oh and it is our final stop in Vietnam!
We hope you enjoyed this Vietnam travel vlog 2019 & the city tour of Saigon aka Ho Chi Minh City! 8 THINGS TO DO IN SAIGON (Ho Chi Minh City) | VIETNAM VLOG #016
8 things to do in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Vietnam Vlog #16
We recently spent the day exploring some of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and thoroughly enjoyed our time. This vlog covers everything that we saw, ate and did during our day spent exploring this mega city!
To start off with, we visited the iconic war remnants museum. It was a very interesting, must see attraction, but bear in mind, it is not for the feint-hearted!
Next we headed to the famous Ben Thanh Market for some shopping, its a great place to pick up that Vietnamese souvenir you've been after! After that we had a short walk up to the Ben Thanh Street food market. This is a great place to pick up all sorts of different foods! It is one of the top tourist attractions, so be ready to pay slightly more for food here!
After that we caught a quick Grab ride over to the Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, also a very worthwhile visit when coming to Saigon. The cathedral is currently under construction but it is still a great sight. The post office is grand and still in operation, so we recommend buying some letters at the market and posting them back home to family from here!
After that we popped in at the famous book street, this is a very trendy area and has coffee shops for you to rest your legs.
We then headed a few blocks down to the incredible city hall. this building is iconic and a must-see when in Saigon! In absolutely beautiful! Once you're done you can head down the walking street and go for dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below and we'll get back to you. If you have no questions, still leave a comment just to say hello:)
We look forward to seeing you in the next video!

South East Asia Tour - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
We spent three nights in Ho Chi Minh in District 1, in the Little Tokyo area. There were a lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, we had some pretty good meals. I was in search of the best Pho in Vietnam, I didn't find it here though.
Pho 79 in Garden Grove, California, is the best pho I've had, and I've had a lot of Pho, all over the US and now in Vietnam. After reading reviews and watching YouTube, I decided to try Pho 24 as our first meal, it was so disappointing, not good at all. We then tried Pho 2000 a couple hours later, this was better, but still not that good. My search wasn't going well, so the next day we went to the Lunch Lady who was made famous by Anthony Bourdain. It was good, but we got the tourist prices, about double what I calculated it should be. But she's a nice lady, Chris bought her cookbook for $3 USD, so we figured we'll help support her family and not argue.
We then went to a coffee shop around the corner so I could work up an appetite to try Pho Phuong which was better than the previous day, but still not close to Pho 79.
We splurged on a really nice dinner at Xu Restaurant, it got very good Trip Advisor reviews but ended up costing about $250 USD for 4 of us. It was a great meal, small bites though but filling enough.
We took a tour from Saigon Free Walking Tours, it was nice to have the two students show us around the city and not feel totally lost for once. They took us to the Cong Caphe where Chris had his favorite coffee drink, then the War Remnants Museum which was interesting.
We had another good dinner at Chi Hoa which was a block from our hotel. I was about to give up on my Pho search but decided to try Pho Le which was recommended by Kyle Le. This was our best Pho so far, very good, but still not the best I've had.
The next morning we left for Hanoi, I think we spent just the right amount of time in Ho Chi Minh.

HO CHI MINH, VIETNAM
We were in Ho Chi Minh City for 1.5 days. And had no agenda! We had a few recommendations, but one of the best ways we like to experience culture, is just by immersing ourselves in it.
Here’s a list of the places we visited:
* Banh Mi Hoa Ma - Vietnamese Breakfast place
* Street Food - Banana in Sticky Rice
* The Coffee House - Lotus beach drink
* Bùi Viện Walking Street - Tourist street.
* Stopped by busy roundabout near Le Thanh Ton
* Benh Than Markets - is a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs
* Saigon Social Club - Rooftop bar on the top floor of Hotel des Arts. I’m not a huge fan of cocktails; but I am a huge fan of trying the local beer. The Saigon Social Club doesn’t serve local beer, so we opted for Hoegaarden and a Corona. Followed by 2 mojitos We also ordered some starters - angus beef mini burgers and salt and pepper calamari. Our bill came to approximately $57 AUD.

FIRST AFTERNOON IN HO CHI MINH CITY
TRYING TO GET LOST
Lost in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Vlog #3
Here I am in the Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Its so awkward at first, because I didn't really know that Vietnam is a communist country until I researched it prior 2 days of my departure.
So what's the big deal about communist??
Well, I learned that some of us in our lovely nation are still put a really big gear in grinding their head whenever they heard everything related to communist.
Its not relevant to discuss about the past, cause now here I am in one of the best city in Southeast Asia, Ho Chi Minh City.
Those great pavements, clean roads, fancy cafe, artistic buildings, warm locals, even the crazy bikes are the reason why we should take our next trip to Vietnam.
Do not ever judge everything before we actually put ourselves in there.
What can we achieve when we have one party government?
Yep, everything good like in Vietnam!!!
Also, in my video, some of my beloved friends from HongKong, Philippine, Thailand and obviously Vietnam will be featured too.
Do not miss a chance to actually see the magnificent Ho Chi Minh City, The City of Lights and French-Colonial Heritage.
