The Logan Inn (New Hope, PA) investigation - Part 1 Aug 28, 2012
This is part 1 of my joint investigation of the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA on August 28, 2012. This part focuses on my solo investigation of Room 14, in which a few years ago a married couple reported being harassed during the night by paranormal activity. Trigger objects and the ghost box are featured here plus some a couple of strange things that were caught on my static night-vision camcorder.
The Logan Inn is on the oldest running Inn's in the United States, established in 1727. There have been reports of several spirits in the Inn, the most famous is Emily Lutz, whose family owned the Inn. She died in Room 6, the most haunted part of the Inn. She is said to still wander the halls and if you could smell lavender in the air, her presence was nearby. Also, the spirit of a Revolutionary War soldier or 2 has been seen wandering around the Inn on the 1st floor and basement, the spirit of a little girl who drowned in the canal behind the inn has been seen in the parking lot and inside the inn. Also known to be a bit of a prankster. A couple of other spirits were picked up on as well including another man who was not happy and a couple of other child spirits.
Thanks again to Robert and Sandra from Bearfort Paranormal for inviting me to join them, along with thanks to Jennifer Lopez from the Examiner.com and her friend Amy for organizing the investigation. Special thanks to Steve Lewis, medium from Australia who joined us via Facetime and provided us with some great insight and focus during the investigation.

Crybaby Bridge - 4K Drone Flythrough (New Hope, Pennsylvania)
As the legend goes, many years ago a young woman got pregnant out of wedlock. Her family wanted nothing to do with her and her child. So upset was she by this that after giving birth, she crept out in the middle of the night with her baby in her arms and headed to the nearby bridge. Once there, she flung her baby into the water and then hung herself from the bridge’s rafters.
This particular legend refers to the Van Sant Bridge in southeastern Pennsylvania, but different iterations of it are associated with several different so-called “Crybaby Bridges” across the United States. Whatever the particular details might be, the core elements of the myth remain the same: a child (or multiple children) met an untimely death at the bridge sometime in the past; the bridge is therefore now haunted, and the haunting manifests in the form of ghostly cries of the departed children that can still be heard to this day.
In the case of the Van Sant Bridge, the story goes that if you park your car in the middle of the bridge you can hear not only the wail of the poor forlorn babe, but also the toes of the hanging woman scraping your car roof. One intrepid ghost hunter, however, surmises that the crying sound actually comes from red foxes that apparently inhabit the area.
The bridge was built in 1875 and spans Pidcock Creek. It is also known as Beaver Dam Bridge. Apart from the unwed mother of the crybaby legend, the Van Sant Bridge is also reputed to have been a hanging place for horse thieves.

The Logan Inn (New Hope, PA) investigation - Part 4 Aug 28-29, 2012
This is part 4 of my joint investigation of the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA on August 28, 2012. This part focuses on the continued investigation of Room 6, the most haunted room at the Inn. We then investigated the Lobby area and adjoining hallway where we make an interesting connection to something Steve sensed when we were in Room 6 and the Ovilus said the word Card. Then you see what happens to me back in Room 14 for the rest of the night after the investigation had officially ended. These are events that were captured on my audio recorder and the hand-held camcorder with night vision that I used during the night of the investigation.

This is part 3 of my joint investigation of the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA on August 28, 2012. This part focuses on the investigation of Room 6, the most haunted room at the Inn. This room was once occupied by Emily Lutz, whose family once owned the Logan Inn. Emily passed away in the room at an old age and her spirit supposedly still resides there and walks the halls to check in on the guest. These are events that were captured on my audio recorder and the hand-held camcorder with nightvision that I used during the night of the investigation.

Centralia BURNING GHOST TOWN - Abandoned Pennsylvania Town
The Centralia burning ghost town was evacuated by a raging underground mine fire that started in 1962, leaving the town completely abandoned. Today, the Centralia mine fire still rages and has been burning for over 50 years. Come with us as we explore Centralia graffiti highway, walk through this literal ghost town, and take you on an exciting adventure.
The town in central PA, aka Centralia Pennsylvania lost town, is known for it’s influence on the production of Silent Hill. Many come to this town in search of urban exploring, creepy places, and graffiti, but it’s actually a local hangout spot for families, mountain bikers, and ATV riders alike. The vibe of Centralia was definitely less creepy than we expected, but I guess “ghost town” is the right word for a reason because all the houses were knocked down by the government so that homeless persons could not inhabit the area.
Centralia is actually not completely a ghost town, as 7 residents fought to stay in the town and remain there today. The town with a population of 7 has been stripped of it’s zip code and no longer has any municipal workers to maintain the area.
Centralia graffiti highway is the main destination when visiting this area and because the Centralia mine fire is still blazing today, it is slowly corroding the highway allowing smoke to billow out of the cracks during cold winter days. Another creepy fact according to History.com is “Graves in the town’s two cemeteries are believed to have dropped into the abyss of fire that rages below them.” A 12 year old boy was also reported to have fallen into a sink hole in his backyard, nearly escaping death.
Centralia was relatively lively when we visited so I don’t know if we would call it one of the creepy places Pennsylvania has to offer. It’s most likely a lot creepier during the winter when you can see smoke coming up from the ground. Either way, we hope you guys liked this video and subscribe if you want to see more content like this! We will see you guys tomorrow, seeya!

The Logan Inn (New Hope, PA) investigation - Part 2 Aug 28, 2012
This is part 2 of my joint investigation of the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA on August 28, 2012. This part focuses on the investigation of Room 18, supposedly the room with 2nd most paranormal activity going on. Most likely as this is directly above Room #6, the most haunted room at the Logan Inn. These are events that were captured on my audio recorder and the hand-held camcorder with nightvision that I used during the night of the investigation.

Most HAUNTED American Towns
Even though america’s past only dates by for 3 or 4 hundred years or so, that doesn’t mean there are some creepy, possibly haunted possible town around here. As the United States began to experience a gold rush in the 1850’s, towns would pop up and get abandoned once the resource there were looking for became depleted. Other towns might still have people living there but due to a few with a haunting past, they may never be able to escape the ghosts! From a town with a massive cemetery right next to an abandoned mental hospital, to a place that even the pope wouldn’t fly over, here are the 13 most haunted american towns.
Subscribe to American Eye
6. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Home to the biggest battle on American soil, Gettysburg Pennsylvania is rumored to be haunted by civil war ghosts who lost their lives during the intense battle. A lot of the town’s revenue comes from tourism and giving ghost tours. Many paranormal investigators have reported an unsettling amount of activity near and around the old battlefield. Some of the places on the tours might include a stop at a haunted house that used to be used as a hospital and a field camp. Another one is a strange rock formation known as the Devil’s Den which was used to provide cover to sharpshooters and cannons by the union soldiers. Witnesses have reported hearing the screams of wounded soldiers or the sudden sound of cannons going off in this area.
5. Tonopah, Nevada
Being situated pretty far away from any major city, in the middle of the desert, Tonopah Nevada seems to have an eery vibe for numerous reasons. It’s located in Nye county, not too far away from national nevada security site. Once silver was discovered in this area, many european immigrants flocked here with the hope of striking it rich. The city would gain much wealth, and bustling saloons and casinos were built to cater to the silver miners. By the time 1920 hit, a large portion of the population decided to pack up and leave, which meant the ghosts were gonna move in. There is a large cemetery here in this town, that sits adjacent to a clown motel that was recently built. Many feel as though the motel and the cemetery make this place one of the most haunted towns in the US.
4. Nelson, Nevada
Another Nevadan city makes our list, this one is found a little bit closer to Las Vegas, near the colorado river. In 1775, the Spanish had made it here and called it El Dorado Canyon who made unbelievable gold discoveries in the area. The spanish would eventually head out and civil war deserters would move and try to make a living striking it rich! It’s home to the abandoned Techatticup mine which was home to accidents. Native Americans also didn’t appreciate the Americans moving in and would engage in the occasional skirmish. It would prove to be one of nevada’s most profitable gold mines, so protecting the land was important. The lawless here made it a difficult place to stick around for too long and eventually people would pack up and move. There’s likely still gold in the hills around here and the main reason it was abandoned was because other metals took priority during WWII.
3. Tombstone, Arizona
The name is enough to make it seem like a haunted place. This infamous location is rumored to be haunted by ghosts from the wild wild west during the late 1800’s. Many people lost their lives here from duels and rowdy fights. People still see ghosts of cowboys and their women, lingering around at the saloons. It’s home to the infamous OK corral where duels tended to take place more often than not. Founded in 1879 by a Silver prospector, the first mine here was named tombstone and the town here was finally established. Some famous residents included Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp, this ghost town is well preserved and is what many would imagine wild west town would look like. One of the haunted places here includes the Birdcage theater where an estimated 16 gunfights took place during a short period of time when it was open
2. Villisca, Iowa
There really isn’t a ton of stuff going on in Villisca, Iowa. Apart of being the setting of a vicious ax murder, the town isn’t really known for a whole lot else. The unsolved crime that took place here in 1912 has certainly made it one of the creepiest places in the US without a doubt and now it’s somewhat of a morbid tourist attraction. The creepy stories around the incident have led many to believe that it’s still haunted and the souls of those who lost their lives here have been spotted. The crime was almost horrible enough to make the whole town haunted and we’re sure anyone who moves here will eventually find out the story behind the Ax house. While there’s much speculation on who done it, this one remains a big mystery and villisca will forever lose it’s peaceful reputation.

The Legend of the Logan Inn
2010 Lighthouse Film Festival Final Selection
Follow three high school students as they spend one night inside the legendary Logan Inn in New Hope, PA. This 'ghost hunters' style investigative piece chronicles the boys night in legendary Room 6 at the Inn. The room is supposedly home to many supernatural and paranormal accounts. Through hours of work breaking down video and audio recordings, HHTV crew uncovered some very unexplaianble events. There was nothing fake here! What you see and hear, actually was picked up by our cameras throughout the night and it is paranormal, meaning, there is no logical explanation for it.
Pennsylvania Ghost Adventure DAY 1-2
We celebrated our 9 year anniversary by going on a haunted ghost road trip through PA during Fourth of July weekend 2013. We stayed at the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA on our first night in Emily's room, room number 6. This is said to be the most haunted room. We decided to do an investigation and set up our night-vision camera all night.
Please note that we had to convert the videos to a different format to edit the video and some of the quality suffered from it. Also, Tiffy is a scardy-cat and had to watch Futurama all night long, which created a lot of background noise.
We are not claiming that all of these sights and sounds are paranormal, but we are pointing out what we found! Just a note, the room seemed pretty quiet while we were there. You could hear cars outside, but couldn't really hear the visitors in the rooms next door or in the hallway.
Enjoy!

5. Shanley Hotel – New York
Built in 1895 the Shanley Hotel in Napanoch New York takes the term haunted seriously. Enough so that every guest who spends the night has to be over 16-years old of age and supposedly made to sign a waiver, just in case something happens.
One look at it would make you think twice about even approaching the property, let alone spending the night there. It sits on a street corner with its distinct Dutch Colonial architecture and peeling white paint, like it was pulled straight out of a horror film.
4. The Queen Anne Hotel - California
Underneath it's gorgeous and historic pink Victorian façade, The Queen Anne Hotel is home to several ghosts and various paranormal occurrences.
First established in 1889 by Senator James G. Fair, it was initially a girl's boarding school. Named the Mary Lake School for Girls, it opened in 1890 and was received with much acclaim in San Francisco. James Fair created the school not just as a business but also so that his two daughters would have a place of education and boarding once they arrived in the city. James was said to have a strained relationship with his daughters and it was his way of trying to win them back.
3. The Queen Mary Hotel – California

It was even fitted with a Jewish prayer room with the hope of distancing itself from the racism growing out of Germany during the time. When World War II came, the liner was transformed into a military boat where it held more than 800,000 captives, soldiers and prisoners of war during its service.
2. The Chelsea Hotel – New York
First built in 1884 the Chelsea has become famous because so many talented artists, writers, poets, actors and musicians have at one time or another called it home, even if just for a short while.

1. Logan Inn – Pennsylvania
Settled in the picturesque area of New Hope, Pennsylvania, lies the historical Logan Inn. This landmark structure was first built as a humble tavern in 1722 and sits close to the Delaware River as well as the famous Buck's County Playhouse.
With over three centuries of history, it's no surprise the inn has garnered a few ghost stories since its inception. It's a favorite haunt for paranormal experts and ghost hunters who believe that the inn houses more than just a few ghouls in its halls and rooms.
So those were the 5 MOST HAUNTED HOTELS IN America
These places have lived on in infamy because of their paranormal and haunted reputations. And it's likely theses hotels will continue to harbor their spirits for many more years to come.
The Haunted West Virginia Penitentiary at Moundsville
Hey guys, this is the West Virginia State Pen in Moundsville, one of the most haunted locations in the United States. Why? Because it was ranked as one of the top 10 most violent correctional facilities, according to the US department of Justice. 998 inmates were killed in this facility. Over 47 inmates committed suicide unable to bear the atrocities in here. Allow me to give you a tour of the inside, the electric chair, the mysterious shadow man, the racist water coolers, 5 by 7 cells where 3 people slept in and even devil worship. Today it is a very scary place but when it was in operation, the West Virginia Pen was hell on earth.
This is the Old Sparky, the electric chair that took 9 lives some of them considered innocent by the public. An electrician would come early in the day and wire one of the 3 buttons and he is the only one who knew which one worked at the time. Now when the time came, all the three buttons were hit at the same time. If you were sitting in that chair, and an officer hits that button, 1700 volts is going to go through your body. It is going to induce heart attack and you would die. Then it is going to pause. Then it will deliver another 800 volts. Then it will pause one more time and will deliver another 1800 volts into your body. Now the first 1700, that did the job. The last 2 were to make sure that your brain is completely cooked. You can also see a phone right next to Old Sparky. If all of a sudden the governor decided to change death to life in prison that call would have been made on that phone. However, this phone never rang in this facility. }
This was not the only method of execution. Right here, was a building called the death house, the gallows where 85 men were killed by hanging. It was torn down shortly after the death penalty was abolished in 1965. But long before the death house, the wagon gate served as the gallows where people were hung in public. They did have several botched executions. In 1931, an inmate by the name of Frank Hyer was set for hanging. Frank Hyer was a large man, and they made that rope a little bit too long. So when Frank dropped, he was completely decapitated by the noose. His body fell straight to the ground, and his head bumped off and rolled right at the feet of the public. To this day, dozens of people have reported seeing a headless ghost walking around, hunched over as though searching for its head. Could this be the spirit of Frank Hyer or does it belong to R.D WALL? Who is RD Wall? He was another inmate who was decapitated by 3 other prisoners for snitching. Whoever this headless ghost is, its serving Afterlife with No Parole in this place.
This is the lockup unit where guys were locked in the cells 22 and a half hours a day. That's half an hour shower, and an hour of recreational time. The first cell belonged to a guy named Red Snyder, leader of the Aryan Brotherhood. He was stabbed 37 times in the chest in this cell and died. This Cell, Cell number 17 had a devil worshiper, he not only made these drawings but took the authorities to the court all the time. He did that to claim his right to sacrifice goats and chickens in the cell. He was denied but he was able to use human blood of the inmates. He also had a group of followers who took part in these rituals. At one point, this facility became the hub of devil worship, so much so that Charles Manson wanted to be transferred here. In his request letter, he used a pretext of moving closer to his family. It was common knowledge that this was not the real reason and he wanted to partake in satanic worship and his request was promptly denied.
One of the strangest apparitions ever captured on camera is the Shadow man. It was first captured right here by this door that says cafeteria. Paranormal experts around the world say that this is the best piece of evidence that proves the existence of ghosts. People have tried to debunk this multiple times, but the shadow man has been captured at least half a dozen times in different parts of the facility. Who is this trapped soul and why does he appear on the walls of this pen? Perhaps he is not just a trapped soul but his body may also be trapped in the walls.
You see, torture was extremely common in this facility. Inmates were bound in a device called the Kicking Jenny and were whipped with leather straps. The straps were dipped in water, then in sand. This whipping would go on until the officer ran out of strength or if the victim died. Only 50% of the torture victims survived. One inmate John G. Roberts was whipped until his skin and most of his flesh was completely peeled off from his body. He lays buried under the walls of this pen. It is quite possible that John G. Roberts is the shadow man that wants his body to be recovered and buried with proper rituals.
