Glacier National Park RV Campground: Columbia Falls RV Park
Glacier National Park RV Campground: Columbia Falls RV Park:
Columbia Falls RV Park is a full service RV Resort and Campground located just minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park.
As the name suggests, the Columbia Falls RV Park is located right at the edge of the town of Columbia Falls in northwest Montana. Columbia Falls is a beautiful little laid-back mountain town which is big on recreation and hospitality.
It also happens to be The Gateway to Glacier National Park which means you will only be a few minutes away from all of the beauty and recreational opportunities that Glacier National Park has become known for.
The town of Columbia Falls is nestled up against the northern tip of the Swan Mountain Range, and the mighty Flathead River flows through the east end of town, just down the road from the RV park, and provides ample opportunities for fun and recreation like fishing, floating, swimming and boating.
Choosing the Columbia Falls RV Park and Cabins as the basecamp for your vacation to Glacier National Park provides you with many great advantages that you might not be able to find if you chose to stay at any of the other campgrounds or RV parks in the area.
Staying at Columbia Falls RV Park puts you right in the center of all that Columbia Falls has to offer, plus you are just a quick 20 minutes drive from the town of West Glacier and the most popular entrance to Glacier National Park.
Many of the guides and outfitters that service the park and surrounding area are located along the road between Columbia Falls and West Glacier, so if you are planing to do any whitewater rafting, or fishing, or horseback riding, or any helicopter or aerial tours of the park, staying in Columbia Falls will put you in the ideal spot to access all of Glacier National Parks greatest features and attractions.
It is pretty easy to see why the Columbia Falls RV Park is the clear winner and first choice when it comes to selecting your basecamp for your Glacier National Park vacation this year.

Stunningly beautiful Sentinel Meadows in winter Yosemite National Park
One of California's most formidable natural landscapes, Yosemite National Park features nearly 1,200 square miles of sheer awe: towering waterfalls, millennia-old Sequoia trees, striking, daunting cliff faces and some of the most unique rock formations in the United States. But despite its enormous size, most of the tourist activity takes place within the 8-square-mile area of Yosemite Valley. Here you'll find the park's most famous landmarks – Half Dome and El Capitan – as well as excellent hiking trails through the natural monuments. Even inexperienced hikers can enjoy Yosemite: Guided tours and climbing lessons are available from local adventure outfitters. Just don't expect to experience it by yourself. Like so many other American tourist destinations, crowds are the biggest obstacles to an enjoyable Yosemite vacation – approximately 4 million people visit each year. But if you go at the right time (and start your day a little earlier than usual), Mother Nature's wonders will reveal themselves to you in a miraculous and serene way. The program offers a historical overview of some of the ranches and looks at current operations - from working dude ranches, where guests help drive the horses back to the ranch to chuck wagon barbecues and the soothing waters of the hot tub after a long horseback ride.
