Florida Vacation! Departing the Great Outdoors RV park and sightseeing
After spending 4 days at The Great Outdoors RV Park me and my Dad then move to our next RV Park across Florida in Sarasota. After disconnecting the RV hookups we then pull out of our spot and begin to slowly start our way out of the park. Here is also another look at a portion of the RV Park as we depart. You can see many resort homes and other Class A coaches, Fifth Wheels, and travel trailers. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to this RV Park in the future. After we pass by the Welcome Center and the main entrance we start out on a Florida highway for a short time before getting on Interstate 95 and later on Interstate 4 to continue to Sarasota. While moving you can see parts of Orlando as we pass by the Airport again and a JetBlue A320 takes off and flyes right over us.
Enjoy!

Titusville is a city and the county seat of Brevard County, Florida, United States. The city's population was 43,761 as of the 2010 United States Census. Titusville is located along the Indian River, west of Merritt Island and the Kennedy Space Center, and south-southwest of the Canaveral National Seashore. Near Titusville is the Windover Archeological Site, a National Historic Landmark recognizing its important collection of human remains and artifacts of the early Archaic Period (6,000 to 5,000 BCE.)
A secondary, de facto county seat was established beginning in 1989 at Viera, Florida, in the geographic center of the county, to better serve the more populous southern portion of the county.

Roycroft RV Park - Seminole FL
We are leaving here in a couple days. Roycroft is one of the cheapest RV parks in the area. When we lived in the campground that is now the Home Depot next door, Roycroft was always packed, always some activity going on. But there is a new manager, now, and something odd is going on. We were told that some of the regulars from here stopped coming back. There were at around 30 empty spots here, even in January and February. A few people passing thru found the place, but there's more than a dozen spots still empty right now going into March. We would not come back here, either, but that is mainly because we found a Thousand Trails/Encore park in Largo that we could do for just over half the price.
I don't know exactly what the problem is, but there seems to be one. The facilities are very tightly controlled by the new manager. This seems to be resented by some of the residents who believe that they pay for the facilities and should be allowed to use them. The resident Christmas decorating committee and other groups have been refused use of the Rec Hall for meetings. For the first couple months we were here, the Activity Room was closed completely and later only open from 2 to 4 in the afternoon, altho it was open about mid morning today. I was refused the use of the Rec Hall to use the tables to lay out my quilt for basting. I have never seen anyone on the shuffle board court. I think all the gear is kept locked up. This is an attitude I have never seen at any other park we have been at.
