on my Cheat day, we decided to go to fatburger! their burgers are big, juicy, the buns are fluffy and soft, and the bacon is crispy and a lot. A little bit pricy but you actually get really good and yummy food ( not healthy but once a week is fine )

Location: 4700-4722 Joliet St, Denver, CO 80239 (Was actually on the other side of the intersection when I went, no idea if that changes.)
This was a really fun episode to film, because I absolutely love finding foods that aren't readily available. Today I'll be showing a very rare specialty dish that is sparsely found outside of Guadalajara Mexico.
Tortas Ahogadas, the mexican french dip, a carnitas, beans, and pickled onion sandwich smothered in chili sauce, gravy, and lime juice, ultimately creating an absolutely amazing package that delivers an explosion of flavor across your pallet from the first bite to the last.
Get it with a couple tacos dorados, crunchy hard shell tacos filled with your filling of choice along with lettuce, fresh cheese, and a fiery spicy salsa to kick it all up a notch, and a mexican coke to wash all those powerful flavors down and provide a nice refreshing finish.

Here's a peek into the Falling Rock Tap House in downtown Denver. This is a prime example of how quiet it can be when a beer festival isn't in town. Over 77 beers on tap. The food is ok but the beers are great.

FOOD TRUCK WARS AT THE CRYSTAL RIVER MALL 2013 RHZ
40 Gourmet Food Trucks from all over the State compete in 5 categories. The competition included the Spirit Award, People's Choice Award, Top Sales, Delectable Dessert and Casual Cuisine. There are always new trucks debuting and previous round participants seeking revenge. Foodies had a chance to vote on cuisines from Latin America, British, Caribbean, Gourmet Desserts and everything in between.
Celebrity Chef Judges, spear headed by Chef Jim Whaples, retired President of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association will be on hand to judge Casual Cuisine and Delectable Dessert, while the people will judged the prestigious People's Choice Award.
Local non-profit organizations worked alongside the shows promoters to raise money in support of local charities.
The event included Celebrity Judges, battle of the bellys, live music, kids area, beer garden and more.
Food costs generally ran from $3 to $18. Most entrees run $6 to $8.
The phenomenon of Gourmet Food Truck rivalry (all in the name of good fun, of course) has been a Huge Hit. At the inaugural event in March 2012 an estimated 30,000 people turned up.
38 health code violations, and double the amount of critters
According to state regulators' records, Selvino's Pizza had to throw away food because dead roaches were found in pizza toppings. The restaurant had 38 violations and more than double the amount of critters. The health department shut it down.

**In this video, Kristin, Kim and I go to Fort Collins, CO so that Kristin can look at Colorado State University. In our travels we meet a family of bunnies at our hotel (The Hilltop Inn in Broomfield, CO), more friendly squirrels and a dog that is walking around freely with no accompaniment.
We also eat at a place called HuHot.
