Hampton Park
Located on peninsular Charleston, the park is 60 acres. In 1835, it was home to an annual horse race. For a time, it was a prisoner of war camp during the Civil War. From 1901-1902, it was the site to The South Carolina Inter-State and West Indian Exposition. From 1932 to 1975. the park even included a zoo! The Gazebo in the video is an original structure from the Expo in 1901.
